Not only did they not show up, but the “next day” Stephanie did not care, kept cutting me off and had the nerve to say I was rude and she couldn’t talk to me anymore! She said no manager available..good bye. Thank God I could get to my son stranded on the side of I-35 at 12:00 am! STAY AWAY!
Well, I never got a tow. The estimated time per my Allstae app was between 3:46 and 4:17 pm. I called Sparta towing service at 4:18 and was told it would be 45 more minutes. I called Sparta again at 5:30 and was told that they were stuck at another tow and we were next...well an hour later I called Sparta and they said 9:00. Guess what!? After they wasted my time, they canceled. It was scheduled with Sparta for at least 5 hours before they canceled. Allstate roadside called after this useless tow company ( Sparta) canceled and rescheduled for the next morning with a different company. I NEVER GOT THE TOW! SPARTA WASTED 6 HOURS OF MY FAMILIES TIME WATING ON A TOW THAT NEVER CAME AND I HAD TO CALL IN TO WORK THE NEXT DAY.
The company is a joke. They know when a customer requests a tow on the All State app. Based on that, they accept that request. However, they claim that the time is auto generated. Not true for people who set up a time. I requested a tow between 8AM - 8:45 AM. I call them at 8:40 AM, they tell me it will be 10:30 AM. I call back at 10:15 AM to confirm, they say it will be more like noon or 1 pm.
Zack was nice enough to help troubleshoot and find me Dee who came for the rescue. Dee was fantastic and I could not have asked for a better drive. My issues is with the company and how they handel scheduling. If a request comes from All State for a fixed time, if your company can't handle that request, simply decline and let a different company that can handle that request accept it. Next time, if I see Sparta as the company that will be helping me, I will be canceling my request.
Change the management and keep Zack and Dee!!
Scheduled for a pickup before 7am, was told between 8:30 and 9am, called at 9 and was told 1.5 hours out. Called back at 11am, told 15 minutes out. Called back at 1pm, told 1.5 hours out. That's a 7.5hour difference. Had to cancel because I missed my appointment with the dealership. If I could give zero stars, I sure would.
Sparta towing picked my vehicle up on Saturday 5.24.25. They were one of the towing vendors that Allstate roadside assistance had in their network. It was a holiday weekend, so my vehicle was towed to the Hyundai dealership on a Saturday afternoon. The service department was closed for the day and was not working Sunday or Monday due to holiday. Thus, I am stuck in Dallas waiting until Tuesday morning 5.27.25 to get my vehicle serviced. Tuesday morning comes and the dealership is ready to service my vehicle but cannot find the keys at 7AM. After looking for 45 minutes they ask me to call the tow company. I called Sparta and their driver took my keys home with him. I have yet to speak with a manager at Sparta and now it is 11:35AM and the dealership service department cannot work on my car because the tow company has my keys and still have not brought them to the dealership yet after multiple calls to Sparta. They keep saying the driver is on his way but this does not seem to be a priority to them. We all know how dealership service departments work, now other cars are in the bay being repaired and my car is steady being set to the side until they get the keys because of Sparta not doing their job.
Horrible experience,,very unprofessional. Waited 4 hours and eventually Canceled. They keep saying it will be 35 minutes every time you call them and they never show up. I would recommend NOT USING THIS COMPANY.
LAWSUIT. Taking legal action against these incompetent and careless individuals. These guys should be shut down. I requested their service around 7:50pm yesterday and was told they would be there by 9-9:30pm. By 10:00 they said the would have a Simone out with in 45 min. The next morning my vehicle was gone and they had no clue who had it. Had to call the police department to find out it was towed by a different company. Will be filling a lawsuit for all the fee involved and time lost. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Please spare your self from these guys.
I recently became stranded due to my battery going bad. Completely shutting car off. I called my roadside for a tow. They send Sparta out. Now you have to indicate if your vehicle has power or not which I did. Sparta shows up the guy towing had to manually put my car into neutral which in a Maserti is on the driver side floor under the mat. He struggled trying to figure out how to put car into neutral which neutral. He goes to YouTube for help takes about 5 minutes top. He gets car hooked and loads into the tow.drops car off and parks it in front of the home. We stay 0.8 miles from where I was stranded. He struggles to release the neutral device to get tow off the flatbed. He figures it out and car rolls off the flatbed perfectly to the front of home. It’s after midnight and again the car is completely dead. This process took roughly around 30 mins top from his arrival to him releasing the car at my home. Next morning I get new battery etc. I start car up; starts perfectly. I go to shift car into gear it won’t shift? I call mechanic certified to come check he states that the neutral device wasn’t fully disengaged so the towing company pulled your car into the flatbed wrong. I called company spoke to manager he said go and try again to make sure it’s completely down. I’m saying this should have been you guys job to make sure. I go and realize a piece of the metal is broken off. I call the company lady is attempting to transfer me but is warning owner it’s me calling before transferring call.So I get sent to voicemail. I leave message to which no call back. I get a call from my insurance company saying this company is requesting money from me for 100 minutes over for towing Wait What? I told her that the time for job was completed upon arrival in 20 minutes tops 30 is really high end. Car is still in front of home stuck in park and this company still hadn’t responded back to me about the issue but requested more money. I can’t stand shady business or unethical practices. Now I’m about to take steps towards getting my car fixed the legal way.Advise don’t ever use this company.
DO NOT USE this business if at all possible. Lucky if they answer the phone and then when they do they give you the run around. Waited over 7 hours to get a tow from them and they never showed. Terrible experience.
Waiting over 4 hours and finally cancelled. Each time I would call for an updated eta they would say 45 min. That lasted 4 hours till I finally canceled. Do Not Recommend
If I could give zero stars, I would! I have a 2024 Honda and I needed a flat changed, due to being stranded. I called my tire warranty company, who in turn, called Sparta Towing! They sent me a text that they would be there in 45 minutes. After 55 minutes, I called. The woman on the phone said, "they are 20 minutes away". After 1 and a half hours of waiting, I called back again, and guess what THEY NEVER WERE COMING!!!! The man on the phone said, "Oh that is outside of our area!" "I can send someone but it will be 45 minutes!!" I said NO THANK YOU!! You have got to be kidding me!! This is the most incompetent towing service I have ever heard of!! Seriously, read all the reviews! There is a pattern of behavior here! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
SO THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WITH A TOWING COMPANY!!! This all started with a flat tire that I had at 5:30 AM. First of all, after two and a half hours, my insurance company couldn't get a hold of who they normally use so they called sparta towing. When my insurance finally got ahold of Sparta towing, I was told that it would be 1 PM before I got a pickup. I then got a call from Sparta at 10:38 AM, saying that it would be 60 minutes. After almost an hour and a 1/2. I called them back and I said that it would be 45 minutes. After another hour I called and they said that it would be 30 minutes. After another probably 45 minutes to an hour, I got a call from the actual record driver who had literally just gotten on the clock and said he would be there in 20 minutes. So kudos to him for showing up on time, because the people that work for sparta towing are completely different, incompetent! They intentionally lied to me every time that I called them. Interestingly enough for everybody's information, I found out that they put all insurance calls on hold and take the cash calls because they make more money and apparently they do not care about the insurance calls. NEVER USE Sparta Towing!
BEWARE!!! Even If its your Insurance OR Home & Auto company setting up this tow for you! Tell them NO Immediately. These people swiftly accepted my tow at 1:30 pm on a Saturday. No other company had a chance to accept. Well I received a text saying ETA was 45 mins. Cool right?? No! 2 hours later they were still 1hr 15mins away from me! The shop we were going to closed at 5... The only shop tht had the tires we needed and Sparta was aware of this at 2:30pm. They lied & lied & lied about the ETA trying to prevent me from canceling. Well 5:15pm comes and of course now the shop is closed AND i look up the ETA of Sparta and they were 1hr 18mins away from me! Even spoke to the "owner" & that did NOTHING!!! If someone's calling for a tow, more than likely they are not in an ideal area of comfort while they are waiting for u to show up!!! DON'T ACCEPT WORK IF YOU CAN'T DELIVER!!! It's VERY SIMPLE!!
