Gary was very helpful! He was very nice and helped me with my headlight. He checked to see which one was out and changed it for me. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes!

O’Reilly in Murphy has the kindest, most caring and helpful staff I’ve ever encountered in an auto supply store! (Unlike the Ave K location in Plano and where the staff is rude, lazy and disrespectful).
Back to the Murphy location, staff there will happily check your battery, air filters (great if you’re a single woman trying to fix your car) and anything else you need to repair, within their capacity. Today they checked and replaced my son’s car battery, which was under warranty, in less than 15 minutes. No hassle, excuses, or ridiculous requirements like waiting an hour to verify that the battery was defective (again the Ave K location).
Kudos to the Murphy location staff for their kindness, attention to detail and expertise! Give them a try.

Short Story Long:
I needed my battery (under warranty) replaced pronto- stat, and I originally went to another O'Reilly location that shall remain nameless for the time being, but they told me I'd have to bring in the battery myself in order to test it. They said if it wasn't qualified under the warranty, it'd take an hour and change to charge it instead of being replaced. I wasn't aware of any of this rigmarole, nor was I prepared to do what they asked of me, so my mother told me to go to this store location instead. I walked in, was greeted friendly, the gentlemen at the front checked the battery while it was still in the car, and replaced it for me using a cart while all I had to was wait inside. Great service 101; every other O'Reilly location needs to follow in their footsteps.
Always friendly at O'Reilly's. However, this is the first time, ever, that I ordered a part expecting to pick up today and found out it was canceled by customer service. And, I already paid for it! I'm just frustrated right now since I was planning to fix my truck tomorrow. Now I have to reorder and pick it up next week!
I took my car in for a new battery. Jeff didn’t try to over sell me and told me exactly which one I needed. Jeff didn’t mind going out in the heat and installing it. He was very professional and friendly. Will be back!
First visit here, already love it! Friendly staff, quick service, and reasonable prices for parts! They replaced my brake light in less than 5 mins, highly recommend them.
Went to an auto shop down the street at first and they told me ONE HOUR for something as simple as a brake light replacement.

Came in to get new headlights. Gary was super helpful and installed my headlights for free in less then a few minutes. I will definitely be back for my auto parts needs in the future.

Store associate Dakota was extremely kind and helpful when it came to helping me replace my old car battery! My old battery was difficult to remove and he was patient enough to see that it was removed and replaced.
I went in for a battery check but I left in awe…
Jeff not only tested my battery but he also tested the alternator. We got a bad battery reading so we went and looked it up to purchase one. I have a stupid strap cover on my battery so he had to remove it to verify my battery. They didn’t have it so he went an extra step to find the closest one! When he called the other store in Garland they told him they had it but wouldn’t install the battery. These guys were so great. I told them I would wait a few days if they could order one because I want to be their customer. With the way the world is now we need nice folks like this. Not only was Jeff amazing but Gary offered to go pick up the battery for us and bring it back so it would be faster. Who are these guys?! I’m so very thankful I went to this store!!! These guys will forever have our business!
I love my O'Reilly's but have to say the last time in visited one it was this location and not my typical Wylie one. While assisting my customer installed of the counter rep assisting as I had asked he went on talking to my customer about something totally unrelated trying to up sale something and totally ignoring the fact that I was mindlessly looking for something I needed quickly. Needless to say I found my answer on Google, grabbed my itemand went to the counter. "Thanks for your help but I've got it now" has the nerve to ask me in front of my customer if I was sure that was the right part. I replied " I'm sure I know what I've got and what in didn't get was help from you like I asked when I walked in so don't question me" and great sales tactic (cause he sold absolutely nothing. I bought what I needed and was out of there. I prefer the Wylie location over this one cause Scott runs a tight ship!
Needed a new battery; they sold me a battery, replaced my battery with the one they just sold at an acceptable price. Employee was a decent guy, did good work and it was all as expected.
I came to buy a belt with a just a piece of string as reference, Jeff that works the counter was so helpful and very professional

The best oreilly’s I have ever been to. Jeff is the nicest guy and gave superior service. Was so kind and willing to help 3 girls who knew nothing about cars. Cannot say how grateful we were to this man.
This particular team makes me feel uncomfortable when I walk in. They aren't really interested in helping me. Maybe because I'm not white. I don't know but I will not shop at this location anymore.

Really helpful ? employees for buying parts or maintenance requirements, I was not sure if topping the break fluid or antifreeze is ok or what type do my vehicle requires ?. Got help in seconds with peace ✌ of mind ?.

We go quite often and the staff working there has always been helpful and friendly. The location is convenient but we come here instead of other similar stores mainly because of the staff. Their interaction shows they care about helping the customers find the right product. We will continue to shop here.
