I’ve been dealing with them for years now. The relationship I have with the guys in the yard and in the office. A benefit to both me and them. They help me make more Off the product I bring in And return I give them a cleaner better product.
Just been here a few times and people was very helpful and seemed to deal fair. Not anything like the place down the road. Plan on continuing business here again
The place was very nice, everything was very fast and they have machines to see the radiation or contamination of metals and the person who works there helped me unload my truck that was overloaded to the max. The problem was when I picked up, they didn't pay me. Because I do not have a valid license or ID in Texas, I was very happy since I arrived super loaded but I left with nothing since the machine had loaded all my metal into a large truck,
2nd or 3rd time coming before 5 10 min before closing stated we are closed I work on company time not yours which to my understanding before 5 it states its open. Traffic is so bad I work down road took me 25 min to get there . Customer service is rude and state you close at 445 not 5 . Wasting my time trying to get there through traffic. And the guy saw me there 2nd time going because I went on lunch break and they are closed 12 to 1230 then they were packed he could of helped me we all have jobs but then you state a time it's not make up your own Tim to open and close bad customer service when you got several recycling centers your going to lose business easy.
They advertise that they close at noon on Saturdays but they close the gate of entry at 11:45 am and won't honor you if you get there after that or their advertised 12 noon time.
My experience was quick and professional. I loaded up my own metal a to be weighed (mostly used car brakes) and got paid cash.
Cast iron was $0.10/pound and Aluminum sheet was $0.53/pound (As of April 19th)
I believe they used to be called Barnes. I'm not sure. They just changed.the poeple are the same I believe. In the office but I did have a little problem that isn't resolved yet. The office poeple are nice.well see
Alot of these reviews are older and sound bad but i had a good experience here they paid more than plano and i was in and out and was taken care of quickly when i went ! Good experience overall
Good people to go the man inside the scale house is a real kind greechi and with a smile and treat you like a real person happy to go and be there to save they unload to and they take care UV or where they unload in they watch what they're doing they're barely safe people at their and equipmens
First time scrapping in years, good prices, straight forward and business mentality. Scale dead on if not a wee tiny bit generous. Yard workers fast and friendly, office gent straight and to the point. Looking fwd to doing business with them again.
Best way to dispose of "your trash" because its treasure to these guys and the'll even pay you for it. Im not talking about your average garbage bag of course, but anything metal and they'll give you cash! Not exactly the most outgoing group of fellows, and might come across as a little unfriendly to some but that's not the case. There simply just trying to get things done and don't necessary have time for chit chat.
I've been here a few times and found what I needed, and them some, for miscellaneous home projects. The staff at the office and in the yard have always been more than accommodating for my needs. Thanks guys!
Crooks. Charge premium prices for scrap project steel. Save yourself some hassle and go to Metal Supermarket on Summit Ave. In Plano and.get NEW, VIRGIN steel for the same.price!!!

I brought about 70 lbs of copper which is $2.80 per pound and they took it as a brass breakage - $1.00 a pound !!!
A few stainless steel /aluminum sinks was paid for regular tin- only $0.10 cents a pound.
Do not waste your time and money.

Bring my metal here every week and walk out witb good money. Everyone else pays under what these guys pay. At the end of the day i make more because OK recycling pays more and they have never treated me wrong. Good folk, good price, good service.
I called to get prices & the woman hung up on me... naturally, thinking it was a accident, I called back only to get what sounded like a fax line !!! How rude
The rules always change up there which is probably due to the City of Mckinney , the employees act like you should be aware the recent changes. The knowledge of customers knowing this would probably apply to the customer that makes a living with in the scrap metal business but not the the once in awhile customer who has no clue.
