Towing my car to mechanic went well, but everything else was frustrating. When scheduling the pick up, the pricing was vague and of course, when job is done they charge you the maximum. Plus the tow truck was an hour late. If you want reliable service this company is not it. just sayin...
My Company's 13 passenger van had a flat tire midway through my route. Dispatch had a Tow/Service man out within 20 min after the call. He was respectful, pleasant, professional, efficient & had me on my way in no time flat (Pun intended).
Got my car towed 5.7 miles two weeks earlier they only charged me $120. Towed my car again today 9 miles and charged me $260. They told me it's $5 per mile . So something isn't adding up . Then the reception hung up in my face two times when I asked about the price. This place is worse than a pawn shop. They try to take advantage of you because they know you are in a bad spot and have to pay. Never using this place again
We were stuck on 75 with a flat during a storm. Service was quick, within the hour, and Isaiah was very courteous and professional. Would be happy to use them again if we ever needed it.
We waited over 2 hours for them to come. Only for them to call 3 hours later and ask if we had the tool that went to our spare that we had already told them we don’t have. They said they had it and were 45 minutes away. They then called back 10 minutes later and said they didn’t have said the tool but they could send someone to tow us. So after almost 4 hours they couldn’t help us and could have just told us that from the beginning. So unprofessional and unacceptable.
Called at 8:15 am for service, booked service at 8:40 and was told that he would be here within 30-45 mins. After 45 mins passes, I called back asking for status and was told it would be another 45 mins. 35 mins passes and the driver calls and says he is 45 mins out. So nearly three hours off of a 30-45 min timeframe. When I called to complain he said it is what is it is and cancelled service. Horrible service, not professional. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.
very shady with their "quotes". i hung up thinking i found a good deal, $59 to go 5 miles and $4 for each add'l mile. i had my car towed 6 miles. the bill was $174. random fees that they were not clear about when i asked for a quote. so upset. will never use this place for any service.
I had a very complicated towing job. My car was stuck hopelessly in a muddy ditch in a construction site accessible only by extremely muddy roads. They sent Wayne whose vehicle proved unable to get through (Wayne gave me a ride home) then they called me back to inform me that they dispatched Antonio with a 4x4. Antonio had to inspect the path to my car on foot prior to driving there, at night using a high power flashlight, and managed to get me out and home.
Read the 1 star reviews. I wish I had rather than just looking at their overall rating. What’s described in those, including pricing is exactly what happened to me. They also respond to these that they’ll investigate and learn from them and that they hope they can “prove it to you in the future”. No way I’d ever use them again! How about making it right??!!!
My vehicle was not picked up anywhere close to on time. Furthermore, when I received phone updates that were further delaying the scheduled time, they and their driver could have been accurate in when they were actually going to show up.
We scheduled for 7am. I was told I would receive a call 20 mins. before. When I received a phone call from the dispatcher at 6:58am, I was told the driver would be there in 30-40mins., at least 30mins. past the originally scheduled time. I received a call at 7:01am from the driver telling me it would be 40-45mins. according to his GPS. When the driver still had not arrived an hour later, at 8:01am, I called him. He indicated he had to make a stop along the way and his GPS was now showing he was 11mins. away. He indicated he didn’t realize he had to stop to get gas. That takes 30 extra minutes???!!! At 8:25am I received a phone call that he was finally just arriving now 1-1/2hrs. after the initially scheduled time.
This kind of treatment is not acceptable!!! When we set the appointment the night before, I indicated that timing was important so I could make sure to get the vehicle to a shop early enough and also to work around my business schedule! Their website indicates they won’t leave someone stranded with car troubles. From their website: “just give us a call, and we will be there within 30 minutes”. Apparently, they have trouble meeting that commitment. Also from their website: “You do not want to be stuck with a subpar tow truck and towing service.” The service, promised on their own website, was an epic failure. Being late for an appointment and then continuing to string the customer along with further inaccuracies is terrible business and unacceptable!!! I’ll use someone else next time and would recommend against their service to others based on their failure to keep their own promises.
The guy was committed to helping us with our low profile car after what we’ve been through with AAA. Tipped him 20 dollars for great service and his smart thinking to help prevent damage to our car. AAA will get a very bad review for making us wait for 5 hours so they can just drop our call. Magic Towing was the best service my boyfriend and I have ever experienced. Thank you!
TERRIBLE SERVICE! Called and got trapped with a non refundable $60 fee over the phone before service was provided. Gave them my location so they could come tow my truck to my house for me. 45 minutes later and I found out they went to some random address all the way in Fairview. They told me it would take an additional 30-40 minutes to get to my actual location. Driver didn't show up. Called to cancel the service and the guy in their office wanted to argue with me for wanting g to cancel. Worst service ever!
Total scammers. The guy that answered the phone is in the business of ripping you off. When my husband and I called to get the cost of the tow he refused to give the total cost. He tried to talk to fast to avoid saying what the total would be. He said it would be $59 to get a drive to come out. Then mention the price would be between $60-$90 and 5 free Additional miles.
When I explained to my husband he was trying to refuse to tell us the total cost and was trying to cheat us. He got very defensive on the phone. When we were talking to him on the phone the 2nd time this was the first time he said it would be an ADDITIONAL cost to the $59.
The first time explaining it so fast he did not use the word additional.
We explained to him that we would not need his service and they were not authorized to use our card. I will be disputing the charge for fraud since he was trying to be a crook.
Stay away from this company. And their fast talking tactics used to rip off hardworking people.
Had to dispute charges. Will lie to you over the phone no matter how much you ask to re-assure your going to get a ridiculous number when they arrive. Which was pretty quick, I'll give them that. they charge a fee ahead to trap you. Called M2 towing in garland and same tow was $190 less. Much nicer and much more truthful/knowledgeable. This company brokers drivers so has hidden fees to make up for what they dont do themselves.

I was also quoted an $89.00 dollar service fee with no additional fees mentioned other than the additional mileage fee which I was told would only be applied for any miles outside of Mckinney. I selected a location in Mckinney and was still charged for the four miles within Mckinney at $20.00 plus another fee to hook up my car to the tow truck at $75.00. This was Not what I was qouted over the phone. If it had been I would have gone with another company. When I called to complain they basically said no you were quoted that price. Also, during the initial call they said oh we have someone in that area we can send right over. After I gave them my credit card info they said someone will be calling you to let you know they are on their way in about an hour. They just say anything to get you to chose them and then do whatever they want after that. The actual service was good but they did not acquire my business honestly.
I called LW towing as well as Frisco towing and they quoted me $141 and $131, respectively. Last place which I thought would be the better deal was Magic towing. Zack DID NOT mention that in addition to the $89.00 service fee there was another towing charge of $95.00. Plus the average charge for mileage. Here I was thinking around $100, then I get hit with a $202 tow for 12 mile trip that only took about 20mins. This company is awful and not fully transparent with their costs. Just absolute thievery on their part! I will say thank you to the driver for his professionalism. However, I have utterly been run astray! Do not use this company!
I was quoted $89 in addition to $39-75 in additional charges depending on equipment and labor needed for pick up, plus $3 a mile. What was never discussed with me was that the $38-$75 fee was for a perfectly drivable car, to which I would then question, "If it was drivable, why would I need a tow?" Also not discussed with me was the additional $30 for "additional labor" and another $30 for a drop off fee because I was not present at the drop off location. Then the technician essentially said these are standard fees that any tow driver would be familiar with, but that dispatch is untrained to discuss. So what was presented as a $140-$180 tow ended up being $257.
