There prices on some things are okay but then prices on other things like ac compressor are why low the texas average price for compressor are 1.35 to 1.65 lb they only pay .20 cents per pound , I have used them a lot in the past but will not be going back
first time here. The guy who greeted me was very nice and I told him I never backed up a trailer before and he said that’s OK get in the truck and I will direct you and I’m not very good at directions but he directed me very well and I backed it up the first try. Then I went and walked around they have a section of metal art things like yard art and it’s all cool and I tried to find out prices but my friends were yelling at me so I had to go but I’m coming back to see about the yard art mother friend said they don’t sell it so then Why do they have it displayed if they don’t sell it?
I used to love this place up until today. I when and the lady at the window was very rude after I told her she was short paying me $20. She threw me the $20 she was shorting me. I told her she didn’t have to be rude and all she answers me was if you don’t like it go elsewhere. They guys outside are really nice and fast , but she has to go. Killing the business.
They advertise that they close at 6pm on sat that is not true got there at 5 and they were very rude and even though there were still people there they would not take my load i drove an hour to be sent away because of their false advertismentnot happy with sweeny scrap metal they need to fix their hours online.. Diesel is not cheap and there already isnt any money in scraping metal so this cost... Thank you sweeny recycling !!!!! Great job and very friendly just the way i wouldnt run my business.....
Good place to take cans and scrap metal. The people are friendly and the prices are listed on the window so you have a rough idea of what you can expect.
They don't write down the right pounds number (should have taken a picture of it) price is a low ball joke. Never gonna go back. Take my business up to Houston where I usually do. At least they have someone who can speak english.
I give him 5 showers and everything the friendliness, but they also to close early and don't follow what they have posted online as far as their hours goes. so get there early if you plan on doing business with these people.
There are other scrap yards around that do keep their business hours the way they have them posted
Great people willing to help. We had some scrap that we were getting rid of, not only was the price paid more than fair, they unloaded for us. Overall a great experience. We will go see them again when the need arises.
Call me man prices are a little lower than what I can get in Houston but overall it's a solid Fair scrap metal the it's it's a country scrap metal but I can get better prices in Houston but it's not worth the drive
These guys are good people whowhen asked.bfor help don't hesitate there funny respectable and at the same time about business. I really have enjoyed getting to know these two men whom I simply call amigoand amigos wife they really are great people
