We are members and just tried the ‘Noel’ edition … how do I say spectacular with fewer letters? Probably the best release we have tried in the last year. Very satisfied customers!!!

Great wine, awesome vibes, beautiful grounds. We hosted our friends for my wife's birthday party and had a blast. Brittany and the events did a great job organizing and making us feel welcome. Kids had a great time as well. Thanks all!

Our host/server, James, was awesome. He not only knew the Lost Draw wines but other vineyards which elevated the experience.

I booked this for my birthday, a large group tasting for 6. It was to include a "large" cheeseboard that fed "6-8 people. We even asked the server if it was a large or if there was a mistake. He confirmed it was their large. Luckily we had one person back out so there were only 5 of us, so we got 2-3 bites each. Anyone that loves a good cheeseboard knows people want more than a couple bites!! How was this a large board? Photo 1 is their alleged large board. The next photo is of a board that was for TWO PEOPLE at Slate Theory - beyond impressed with that one!! The other is just an insult. ...Especially after I told my friends I had a surprise for them (for my birthday lol) and that is what came out. I would never return after this ?

We were welcomed with a delicious wine and lead into the tasting room where Danielle greeted us! She was so informative and passionate and then took us around the vineyard, took our photos and made the entire experience my best winery visit ever!

Sheralyn is the best of the best! We finished our tour of 3 here and ADORED our experienced! Great wine, precious service. 100% win. Btw…she’s a longhorn! Hook em!

The staff was so warm and welcoming! They were very attentive and knowledgeable. We brought our young kiddos and they were very accommodating giving them bubbles to keep them entertained. The view is spectacular. There wasn’t a wine we didn’t enjoy….we did the signature tasting. Highly recommend!

We love this place! We joined as members during our first visit back in October 2024. Since then we’ve gone 4 more times and each visit is a lovely and relaxing experience. We were there yesterday and had a tasting in the Barrel Room with Woody for 7 adults and 4 kids, to be out of the rain. They assured us it was no problem having little kids in the barrel room. They are so welcoming (the “welcome wine” is a plus!), accommodating, and truly treat you like family which is refreshing as some of our previous favorite spots have become not family-friendly and don’t allow kids. Towards the end of our tasting Griffin came and played ball with two of the boys which allowed us some adult conversation. The wines are great, the staff excellent, and the property beautiful. They also have a number members can text to make tasting reservations which is so convenient. We hope to make it to a member event soon, they always look incredible. Always an amazing experience with the folks at Lost Draw! Enjoyed the tasting room downtown in years past; but now they have relocated to an amazing vineyard property in Johnson City that is always my first stop on my way to Fredericksburg. The outdoor patio is cozy, the grape juice is delicious, and the staff is beyond amazing and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Hi, this is Phil. I was a guest of Anna’s at the latest big group meetup. We enjoyed plenty of different wines and all of the employees were very kind. We finally met the famous Shawn (ask about the duck photo). Everyone was super friendly and treated us with care. The wine was super duper and scrumptious. Food and band was awesome. Shout out Shawn! First winery hit on a quick trip. Pretty cool outdoor seating area with tree cover and shade. They have you sit down outside and they bring the wines to you for your tasting. We actually shared a tasting. The older lady helping us was the sweetest and most kind lady I think I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing at a winery. She walked us through the whites and reds. My partner enjoyed all of the whites and some reds. I enjoyed most of the reds but I would rate them in general as “fair”. I can’t really say and stood out to me. Their take on viognier was lackluster but the Tempranillo was fair. No major standouts really. Whites were super light.

The Lost Draw member experience is top notch! Plus they always treat our guests and our dog like royalty as well! Their member parties and blending party is lots of fun too!

Our Wine Expert, Woody, from Lost Draw Cellars in Hye, Texas did an excellent job guiding us through the different types of Hill Country wines. Looking forward to our next visit.

We loved our visit here! Jake was absolutely the best! Very knowledgeable about each wine. Really loved our time… and yes, we joined the club! Great wines, great vibes, great people! What’s not to love!

Sarah is always a delight. Not only is she a beautiful soul but her knowledge of wine is brilliant. I LOVE coming to lost draw as they treat me like a VIP every time.

Among the splendor of the wine trail between Austin and Fredericksburg there are some absolute gems that outshine most. The wine is one thing above most but Roxie and the Lost Draw crew led by Andrew and the entire William Chris Wine Company are year after year fantastic. With a group of lifelong Framily members re-united from Louisiana and Dallas area - the elevated tasting on their new property in Johnson City was amazing. Exploring some beautiful wines from past while guided by the entertaining and exceptionally knowledgeable Roxie was a highlight of our weekend of 7 different wineries. Thank you Roxie and all of the Lost Draw crew. See ya again soon

Lost Draw was amazing. Delicious wines, perfectly appointed charcuterie board, beautiful property and Mark was a fantastic host.

My husband and I had a great experience at Lost Draw yesterday. The weather was perfect and the outdoor seating and atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing. Bernadette took good care of us, bringing our tastings at an enjoyable pace and giving us interesting and educational tidbits about each variety. We loved the Gemutlichkeit which will be perfect to drink this summer and our favorite red was the Tempranillo. We left with a case of wine and a membership!

We visited lost draw today as a member perk of William Chris Vineyards and we loved our time there. The best part (besides the wine and lunch) was Janis! She was so knowledgeable and welcoming to my husband and I. She had great background info on the winery and the wines/vineyards. We will definitely come back! Such a hidden gem off of the Downtown strip

Blown away with the great wine, yummy food, and welcoming staff! We instantly felt like family. We loved the food and wine pairing! So many tasty wines it was hard to decide which bottles to take home. We brought our kiddos and they were so very accommodating. Do yourself a favor and visit! We can't wait to return again, it's a special place.

Came over after Mass Sunday morning. Tried to get gas at HEB and they were backed way up so we pulled out to get gas down the street and saw Lost Draw Cellars on the side street. Filled up the car and came back. We were the first people of the morning. Staff was super nice and friendly. I got the Malbec and my wife got the Tempranillo. Wine was good. They have food and a really nice outside.

I had the luck to visit Lost Draw on a special day. They had a chili cookoff that I "had" to vote in *and* a lunch box with a tamale and salsa. Needless to say, I was very happy. The wines provided during the tasting were lovely: full-bodied, aromatic, and downright delicious. Make this a stop while you're in Hill Country!

We had a great time and great food and wine pairing! We were surprised by the choices made for pairing and good wine quality! Perfect place to stay outside in a sunny winter day, great for kids and pets

Amazing experience! Beautiful views, wonderful wine, peaceful ambiance. Friendly for all generations, our daughter loved all the butterflies. We’re not pushy on a membership, we will be back!

Our favorite winery in Johnson City! The wines are top notch. Red, whites, roses, all fantastic! We really love all the staff here as well. We joined the club since we loved this place so much ! Do yourself a favor and schedule a tasting if you're in the area, you won't regret it!

The people that work there are friendly and outgoing. it has a cozy atmosphere inside and relaxed outside seating. Need a place to relax off the main strip in Fredericksburg with easy parking, you've found it. Good selection of whites and rose wines, reds are lacking.
