I brought my vehicle in to get a clutch and flywheel replaced. During the repair the tech broke my knock sensor on my engine. They did not repair the sensor that the tech broke. After the clutch was replace I went to go pick my vehicle up and the check engine light was on for the knock sensor and the motor would not idle correctly. The car would surge and stall out. I told the owner of the shop that my vehicle isn't running right and he told me it's ok and still safe to drive ( it is not safe to drive your vehicle with no knock sensor, told by a master tech from a dealership). I replace the sensor and my motor still didn't run right. They also destroyed my air intake filter because the tech didn't know how to properly remove it and made my go and buy a new filter for my car. I brought my car back four separate times to try to get them to fix what they broke and all they would do is flip a vacuum hose around. And till this day my car still won't run correctly. It very under powered, getting very bad gas mileage, and is backfiring. At this point this shop has ruined my engine. Everytime I brought the vehicle back the owner would blame my intake and exhaust system to maybe be the problem just so he could wipe his hands clean of the situation. The intake and exhaust has been on my car for over 8 years and has never been a problem. It would be nice if the owner would reach out and fix this problem.

This place is great. They do really good work and the customer service is really good. They have done a few things to my car and I am very pleased with them. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for my cars.
I needed a spare fob programmed for a Jeep Wrangler and was quoted from $225 to $600! A friend recommended China Grove Auto and Keys. I called and they told me to come in right now or whenever I could and they would take care of me. Within 30 minutes I was there and a very polite young man immediately took my keys and the new fob and within 20 minutes of my arrival I was on my way and the cost was lower than anyone else had quoted me. I had never been there before but I will definitely return if I need anything for my vehicle and I would recommend them to anyone who needs an automotive shop. Than you to the nice young man who waited on me.
We found China Grove Auto Repair when we needed a tire plugged and brought the car back for some minor repairs. The owner is super friendly, has reasonable prices and fast service. We will definitely be back!

Had an A/C meltdown . Dealership required a huge diagnostic fee and truck left for 12 business day. Manager was upfront on the process and cost of the work after mechanic took a look at it. Truck was kept an additional day to verify integrity of the work. Price was on par for work done highly recommend their service

I brought my car in early in the morning, got a phone call less than a hour explaining the issues. They had my car fixed before lunch the next day. Eddie and his team are reliable, honest and fast. My go-to-shop if I have any issues with my car!
Expected to need front end work but they found it was just a loose tie rod. Their honesty saved me quite a bit of expense, and many shops wouldn't have been so honest.
Had an inspection on a used car I wanted to buy. They were very clear in their verbal communication on the issues and gave me the info I needed to make an informed decision and the price was similar to many other shops I called. The email/paperwork was general, (ex. front suspension noise) while the verbal was much more detailed.
The most friendly staff I’ve encountered in awhile. They explained the whole process to me and not in a way that made me feel dumb. They were programming some new keys for me and it was fast and 1/3 of the price of the dealership

I found the Manager Eddie to be very open and honest leaving 5.9 Dodge 2500 4x4 to have that ole time country attitude rather than take my vehicle to a dealership and get jammed with words of hebishebibadajobi smooth talk blowing smoke in my face.

I am from out of town when my car broke down. I took my car to China Grove auto repair. I was treated very nice by them and they did not try to over sale me. What they did charge me was very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone .

Joe explained everything clearly, and I felt completely confident in his expertise. The pricing was fair, and the turnaround was quick. I'll be coming back here for all my car needs!
Eddy and his crew have been great over the years, my truck quite likes the shop and is a repeat offender due to age. These guys are always quick to diagnose and repair, from oil changes to brakes seizing up to the whole engine replacement debacle. Thanks guys!
FINALLY! A mechanic shop I can trust! I had the best experience at Eddie’s shop. They worked on my Honda accord and had it back to me in a quick turn around time.
When he first called me to give me a report on my car, I immediately felt at ease. He knew what he was talking about and he clearly communicated to me what was wrong with my car.
My car had been having issues for the last seven months, and Eddie and his team fixed it in two days. I’ve been through five other mechanics, but I will continually bring my car back to Eddie. I trust that he will do a good job and not charge me for some thing I don’t need. You can trust this shop!

Excellent customer service! I spoke with Eddie over the phone and the price he quoted me for a new key fob was 1/3 of the price anywhere else, saved me over $250. He had the parts on hand plus he cut and programmed the key all in 15 minutes. The price he quoted me over the phone was the same price I paid. Awesome experience. I cannot thank Mr Eddie enough for going beyond my expectations . As a single woman I dread car trouble because I always feel like I've been taken advantage of because of my lack of auto knowledge. They were very fast and professional. The price is about 50-60% less than what a dealership would cost and I am more than satisfied with the new key they made. All buttons (lock, unlock, trunk, panic) buttons work perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place.
