I had a great experience at the O’Reilly Auto Parts in Muleshoe, Texas, and Roberto deserves special recognition.
I was dealing with an issue on the road and Roberto stepped up in a way you do not see every day. He helped me with some rewiring, gave me good directions to my next stop, and actually cared enough to come outside in the heat to make sure I was taken care of.
He came out with his purple tool chest, which made the whole thing even better. Apparently, nobody wanted a purple tool chest, so they painted one. They had thought about pink, but purple was the color they had, so purple it was. That pretty much sums up Roberto: he improvised, made things work, and did it with a good attitude.
He sympathized, helped, and treated me like a person instead of just another customer passing through. Roberto is a good man, and O’Reilly’s is lucky to have him. I appreciate the help more than he probably knows.
They sell you a part... then they try adding a charge of 40$ if you dont give them your old part... the product was 260 sumn... and he said 315 sumn "out the door" if didnt giv them the old part... theyre scammers brother... smh
We stopped here after hitting a deer driving through Texas to Colorado and didn’t get the name of the employee but they were SO HELPFUL with providing a tool to cut off the fender liner and assisted with cleanup following an hour and a half in the parking lot. I cannot emphasize enough how much this helped with comfort in our roadtrip.
We broke down in Muleshoe and the employees were very helpful. However, Monroe, the manager went way above and beyond with advice, and helped instruct us while standing outside in 108* weather for over an hour. We wouldn't have been able to get back on the road without his expertise and very kind heart.
