If I could rate 0 stars, I would. These pieces of work took money for my daughter and I for 2 parts, we just needed to wait for the removal of the radiator and resivoir. So I told them we'd be by today (the day after the initial visit.) Low and behold when my young daughter goes down there, by herself for the pick up. Because she's a young ignorant girl, they made her pay again, for the parts we paid for yesterday. So I call down to clear it up, turns out, it was a misunderstanding. They "told" her that we would have to pay a seperate bill for the second part, that they haven't even removed yet. So, did we tell you to get it or not? You gotta be kidding. 0/10 will be telling all my friends to steer clear.
There price is to high for used parts I always call O'Reilly's first to see what the price is new the I check around to see if I can find it used for a cheaper price but at salvage 1 USED AUTO PART there price is same as it is new and they want negotiate the price at all !!!! The have lost alot of money this way . Always check and see what it is new before you call them
Was very friendly and helpful! Gave more than other salvage places was offering. And then actually gave us extra once we got there because of our situation. I will mostly diffently come back here & give them my service & will be recommending them to everyone I know or meet. They went beyond what was expected and they dont know how much it helped & I cant thank this place enough!!
It's a really good place to go they have almost anything you need if I ever had any problems he always exchange things out and they are really friendly there
Most helpful salvage yard I have been to in 50 years and I have been to alot. Also the name is the same as the Andy Griffith Salvage 1 show about a junkyard and going to space.
They are thief's !!! I paid 350 for transmission and it wasn’t the right one and they wouldn’t trade or give my money back. DO NOT GO HERE CONSIDER THIS YOUR WARNING!!!!
WARNING IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM NO STARS!!! Do not go there these guys will lie!!! I asked for a receipt for a transmission they said if you want to pay taxes will give you a receipt. The owner uses undocumented workers. He’s a cheapskate he will go anyway just to save a dollar and steal money from anybody and he does not care. Just let this be a WARNING!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!!! They are RIPPING OFF EVERYONE!!!!
Called them they had the part I needed. Got there and was told they had already sold it. Extremely frustrated until another employee found another windshield for me.
Good guys will work too help find what your needing. No matter if they have it they will try to get it new,used,some other replacement part you need. As they will cut you desks as well.
They did a great job with my car. The whole right side was severely damaged including the front and back fenders and bumpers and when other collision repair shops suggested me to declare it total or pay more than what the car is worth, Eric repaired the entire thing in less than 2k and it looks as good as new. It is even hard to tell it was ever in an accident. The paint matches so well with the rest of my car. I highly recommend them!
When I'm looking for used auto parts, Salvage 1 is my first call. Larry and Eddie are very knowledgeable of automobiles and what parts may cross reference with other years and models.
They can even order after market parts. Justin is very helpful in assuring you get the proper part. Recently I ordered an after market mirror for our Toyota for one third of the retail price.
First would like to comment on the snake that owns this business. He dated my sister and bragged about how cheap he would buy his cars usually no more than $500 and then sale for 5x the amount of purchase. My sister is 22 years old and had an addiction problem he preyed upon that and does this with multiple younger woman he is in his 60s short little feller and claims to once be part of the New York mob. All while still being married to his wife that is in a nursing home. As far as the business it's self you are taking a 50 50 chance parts are good the cars not so much. He promised to help my wife and I and sister he put us in Un affordable home and once my sister fell ill and was hospitalized he stepped away and left us to fin for our selves we are currently being evicted with a 2 year old son and will be homeless soon. He has made his fortune and says he will sale the entire business for 3 million if you ask me I would boycott this sob and we all put him out of business and spread the word he sales junk cars with no warranty which is no lie. I have other things I could say but I think I have starated to paint you the picture. STAY AWAY!
Never known there was a auto junk yard around the corner from my house. I traveled to blountville most the time this saves so much time and they have a lot of cars and had what I needed after searching 3 other yards. Plus reasonable prices and good folks.
Fair prices and generally helpful staff. They have a wide variety of makes and models, and will let you pull your own parts, while providing assistance when necessary.
