Worst place ever to take your Auto no matter what auto you have!!! Check my truck in to have it serviced twice in $700 later still the exact same thing plus I was minus a few parts on my truck! They have no idea what they’re doing. Mechanics are extremely dishonest. The sad part is they were recommended by Napa!
Brad was very friendly and I'm sure that on older vehicles they do a great job.
I brought in a newer vehicle with shifting issues and was told that it's an electronic issue and i should take it to a dealership.
When I dropped the vehicle off, I told them all the issues I noticed as well as describing a noise I had heard - a day later, they had test drove it, mentioned a completely different noise which was unrelated to the issue, and stated "I didn't hear it, I wasn't paying attention to it".... The noise in question was the sound of gears rubbing against eachother - this was a new sound and it was something that should have been noticed in my honest opinion. I asked them if they looked under the truck at all, to which they said they did not. They charged me the fee for looking at it (which was very reasonable, although nothing was done)
I decided to take it to another shop, who looked at the vehicle, found that the transmission fluid was low due to a slow leak, and fixed the issue entirely.
I was shocked that they didn't even look at the bottom of the vehicle or take the time to hear the sound that was actually related to the issue. And to blame everything on electrical issues despite the sound of gears rubbing eachother wrong was shocking to me.
After looking at the vehicle and taking my money, they stated "this vehicle is too new for us to work on anyways". That would have been appreciated to know beforehand if they weren't even capable of working on it had they discovered a serious issue.
I'm giving two stars because they were friendly.
Brad is a very experienced and knowledgeable mechanic. I have had small work done there like replacement window and oil changes, and big work like and engine swap. Never any issues with the quality of work, and the pricing is reasonable.
That said, the parking is not great and you need to be careful getting back on the road here, and any vehicle left overnight is likely to be visited by rodents. Not that its Norrods' fault; critters are just unavoidable in that area.
Norrod's does an excellent job! I was driving to work, when my car started giving me trouble. I drove to Norrod's, which is on my way, and they were able to work me in and get my car fixed before end of day
I have never been so mistreated, to have never even had my car repaired there, called at 8:30 this very morning to have some minor repairs done, was told will call when coming, 2 1\2hours later asked when they maybe coming, same answer, called another 2 hours later, same answer, then at 4:00PM,they call me, we aren't going to get your car, we've dealt with you before, #1 I've never had my car there, #2 very unprofessional, #3 to pass judgment on me, and don't even know me, #4 waisted my whole day waiting, I'm a 62 yr old disabled, one armed man that needs his car fixed, all I can say is my repairs must not have been able to make them enough money, this Brad person to be SO nice only to screw up my day, waist my day, and make judgment against me and Don't even know me, is this the way businesses are supposed to act, not in my book! Shame on you Norrods, after this I wouldn't let them work on my bicycle, totally inappropriate, and degrading to myself, must be nice to pick and choose, who's good enough for them!
Well I dropped my car off on a Thursday and Brad was supposed to fix it the next day on Friday but I called to go pick it up and he told me that he forgot about fixing my car (SMH)and said it would be Monday ( mind you all I needed was 1 new tie rod) I finally got a call Tuesday saying it’s fixed it took 5 days on something that should’ve only took 2 hours max . To say I was frustrated is a understatement and kept the negative to myself. On top of having my car for 5 day he still charged me almost $250 for 1 tie rod. But I understand he’s in it for the money (it’s his livelihood) but if you tell someone “Oh dang man Im not even going to lie I just totally forgot all about your car but I have the parts here in front of me”. Cut a Brother a deal that’s all I ask you cost me money because I had to pay for a rental car a extra 4 days….Thanks for at least fixing it..Take at your own risk ⛔️
Super awesome place. Friendly guy that got me in and out quick and also gave me some advice on some other places in town where I can get some work done on my vehicle. I’ve used that advice and found it to be invaluable. I got some headlights restored, and I’m very pleased with the results results
They Brad and Gay were awesome. It was done quickly. My F250 super duty is running great again. ☺️?☺️??????
