WARNING!! SCAMMERS! DANGEROUS! DTS preys on women, read the Yelp Reviews. Memphis Police Department has a contract with them and try to force women to use DTS. MPD will tell you, you don't have a choice, but you DO!! We had a tow truck on the way, but MPD dispatched DTS against our wishes! They told my daughter she would have to pay them $275 cash, on the scene to not use them!! SCAM!!!! They bullied her and told her she had no choice! I was in the hatchback trying to unlatch the car seat when DTS started wrapping the chains around the tires, while I was on the phone with insurance. The insurance lady was telling the Officer and Driver we did not have to use them, she heard them telling us we had to. This wreck was 4 houses down from ours! We told the officer we did NOT need a tow, we would drive the car home. There was a mechanic at the scene that said it was drivable, definitely able to be pushed. The officer deemed it undrivable and said she had to use DTS or pay $275 cash, on scene! The insurance agent said it didn't sound safe for us and told us to let them take it, even though she was telling them to drop it at our house, 4 houses down. AGAIN, they told her we would have to pay $275 cash! I called to file a complaint against the driver for bullying my daughter and loading the truck while I was in the back and then loading it before she could get her medicine & keys out or even shut the doors!! They refused to take the complaint. Thank goodness we took pictures at the scene! There was no damage to the back and only a small dent to the back left, BUT, when we went to get belongings out of the car... the whole back bumper was off and the back left corner smashed in!!! They then tried to make her pay $37 to sign an online release for insurance! When we said we would come in to sign, he said come to Wilfong between 9am-4pm. My daughter told him she works those hours ... he said "sounds like you have issues." So, she took off, went to Wilfong at 2pm and no one was there! They then told her she had to drive to Frayser to sign the papers or pay the $37, only then would they send a driver to the Wilfong address to get her belongings out of her car! Mind you, she's at the exact address they told her to go at the times they told her to be there. While she was there, there was another daughter/daddy there going through the same exact scenario as us!!!! they were furious, just like we are. According to the reviews DTS is a scam with a contract with MPD. If you are in a wreck, Make sure you are telling the officer from the BEGINNING, on his bodycam, NOT to use DTS!!! You have the right to use your own tow truck!! Do NOT leave anything in your car if it gets towed to DTS!!! Take pictures before they get there!!!! They deemed her car undrivable so she would be forced to use them, but they had to drive it to park it the way they did at the DTS lot. When we called to report the damage, they hung up on us. I called back and apologized for the disconnect, she said "no, I hung up on you, I didn't want to hear it!" BEWARE of DTS Towing. Tow driver nice. Wish I would have had my car towed to a body shop. The lady in the office is very rude. The daily rate was not explained to me. She didn't tell me I needed cash....who doesn't take credit cards. I was happy they let me get stuff out the day it was towed in. When I paid and picked up the 2 gentlemen who helped me were FABULOUS. If I have a choice, I don't think I would use them again.
Worse towing company ever !!! Hanna might be a lil racist . While I was at the office she let a white woman get her things out her car without paying anything . She told the black lady that she had to pay $275 or bring in her title . The black lady just wanted her work badge out the car and she would not let her get it . My truck was towed Sunday at midnight . I called Sunday trying to get my truck and she told me that they was closed . When I went into the office today , she told me $415 then I asked why so high then she say nah it’s $365 . She charge me a storage fee of $60 then an administrative fee of $75 then $225 . I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this towing company !!!
The woman answering the phone is very rude and doesn’t give out the right information the first time you call. They make you run around to multiple different lots. Definitely don’t recommend.

I have lived across the street from their East St location for years now. They leave debris in the road that is a hazard to the community around them. The refuse to clean up the illegal dumping they’ve done on public land beside their property. They fail to clean their trucks and pelt innocent driver’s vehicles with rocks and debris from their beds. The company is unprofessional and a black eye on the community. Hannah in the front office is unprofessional and not interested in righting any of her employers wrong doings. Avoid them at all costs.
The worst towing experience ever And the most disappointing experience they tried to invoke fake charges to an already extremely high price nothing could be so uncaring as to try and take advantage of a person after they have been in an accident if you want my advice stay away from this overpriced towing company
Horrible! They stole everything out of my vehicle and refused to relinquish the vehicle even AFTER insurance paid the bill. They put a hole in my oil pan!!! I have no idea why the city of Memphis contracts the horrible company. The office lady is rude and nasty. DO NOT USE THEM! If you are in an accident private tow!
This place is horrible they stole the battery from my car and are ignoring my request for it back I’ve gotten a lawyer if you use this place prepare to take legal action !!!
If you want someone to clean your car of everything you have inside it have it towed by DTS Towing. My daughter was rushed to the hospital after an accident. MPD called DTS to get the car from the scene. When insurance got the car from them EVERYTHING was gone from inside. They even took a single piece of chewing gum from the console.
Absolute thieves. I wish there was something I could do to them to make them feel as violated as I do. Scum of the earth.
912 dollars for 10 miles of towing and 2 days in their lot when the police rejected my own tow truck to use the state's tow company, which is a complete fraud. Memphis PD is a complete fraud as well, working with these criminals. Also very rude people. DO NOT EVER WORK WITH THIS FIRM EVEN IF YOU'RE STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE .
If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only this the tow company crack the windshield after tow. But refused to take accountability for the damage they did. Then they through the car in a lot with a pile of mud all over the white vehicle. They refused to allow any other tow companies to tow out the vehicle unless they had a permit with the city. Or they would charge us an additional 275.00 to tow the vehicle off the lot( which was insane). The manager was very rude and unprofessional to a 19 yr old boy who didn’t understand the process of towing because it was his first time experiencing this type of incident. And to top it off after we found two tow companies and confirmed that they were eligible for use to tow off the lot. Once they got there the rep advised we can not use them. It was a 5 hour process for a tow which was ridiculous. This company should be banned from working for the city. Overpriced & very unprofessional. I have picture of the windshield not being cracked before tow and will take them to court for the inconvenience. Not to mention they threw all type of broken glass and tires in a cream seated vehicle that didn’t belong to the car and told us we had to clean it out ourselves. Just horrible
