Please avoid if possible. Sad to say, but this towing company’s dispatch services are contracted with the Memphis police department for accidents in the area. Once your vehicle is on their lot they will make it nearly impossible for it to be a smooth process to get it back from them. This is definitely one of the ways that they extort the storage fees to either rip off your insurance company or you personally. They will give you information and go back on their word so be careful of their tactics to drag things out and prolong the process till you are pinned against a wall.
Listen, DO NOT USE this company if you can avoid it. They may operate as a legal business, but they’re the biggest scammers I’ve ever dealt with.
Our car was in a wreck, and they are who was dispatched by the police to tow it to their private lot. The tow truck operator, who was impatient and unhelpful, tried to get us to pay cash right there to take it. Luckily one of the two police officers present informed him that that isn’t how that works. They didn’t even give us the name of the tow lot or the correct address as far as I can tell. Our car was supposed to be there for a day or two max, but it took more than a week to get it. I’m fully convinced that they dragged out the process to rip off our insurance company. They ONLY TAKE CASH, even from other tow companies who’ve paid them with checks before. They were extremely difficult to reach on the phone to find out how much the charges were. They required an insurance representative to come down in person to conduct business that’s normally done over the phone. I believe their hours are so limited to make it more difficult to get your car out. Even their paperwork was sketchy. Luckily, our insurance covered their charges, and I don’t know the final amount that was paid, but I know it was more than $2,000.
If we could go back, we’d have gotten cash out and paid them to drop our car at our house rather than go through all of this.
These are the guys who scam the semi truck drivers who break their back to deliver goods to the citizens of the United States. Hope your business closes.
This towing company extort money from legally parked citizens. An associate of mine just had to pay $125 to this company even though it was proven that she was parked legally. Don't trust this company. It's so sad that this company is taking advantage of the community.
