This is a wonderful gem of a campground located in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. The area is an outdoor enthusiasts mecca with plenty of opportunities for hiking (waterfalls abound), kayaking, and even paragliding (Tennessee Tree Toppers). The PB&J beer at Sequatchie Valley Brewing is amazing! But the best part of this area is the people and that includes the campground's owner, Tim. There are 17 full hook-up sites and Tim offers full service - he even helps to level your camper when you arrive. All the sites are situated facing north so you have shade while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. There is a lovely bathhouse with 3 full, homestyle, bathrooms which are kept very clean. You'll find Tim feeding the cows, chickens and other animals on neighboring properties every morning. Tim is full of knowledge on the area and loves to chat with his customers. Bonus: There are two disc golf baskets to practice and improve your skill and Tim is surprisingly good! We paid $35.10 per night with a discount for a full week. Otherwise, it was $40.95 per night. (Nov 2023 and Nov 2025)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at an RV pad and had a wonderful experience. The owner was awesome—friendly and welcoming. The restrooms were spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The water was always hot, which made showers so nice and refreshing. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely recommend this place to others!

Great little campground. The owner is very personable and helpful. The campground decorations reflect his sense of humor. The pull through sites are narrow but have a beautiful view of the mountain. Conveniently located to explore the area. We would camp here again.

Great little campground w/full hook up. ATT & Verizon were good. Campground did offer wifi, but we did not use. Time the owner was wondeful to talk. We were visiting friends in the area and will be back.

What a great place to stay and Owner Tim is a joy to do business with. Verizon service was great and the campground WiFi is awesome If you have plans to take in the Worlds Longest Yard Sale on US 127 this week and you're looking for a quality place to park your RV between Chattanooga and Crossville, R and R Campground is the place you are looking for and the rates are extremely reasonable. We stayed Fri thru Sun nights to attend the Rodeo in Pikeville on Friday and Saturday nights. Then we explored Coalmont ORV Park in Tracey City and Prentiss-Cooper State Forest and WMA for future Side by Side trips. The Campground is super clean and neat. The Owner Tim is always working to keep it that way. Tim is a high quality guy that always checking to make sure guest are satisfied. And the Mountain views are fantastic.

Seriously a great RV Park! Hidden Gem in the sequatchie valley. Tim is a true servant and cares greatly about his visitors. Highly recommend to those passing through the Dunlap/Pikeville area. Also only 35 mins from Fall Creek Falls.

Been around some and this is by far the best rv campgrounds I have been to. Tim is as nice a fellow you could ever meet. The campgrounds are very well kept, the bathhouse was the cleanest I have ever encountered. Would give it a 10 stars if I could. We like to stay between places we want to visit and this is down in the valley and close to Falls Creek Falls, one to Dunlap and Pineville. We drove to Cleveland to vist a sister and drove to Chattanooga for the sea lights at a park there. Easy to find and get in to. Just follow the signs to the stop sign and Tim will come meet you. Enjoyed the chickens on the north side and the Mexican cows on the south side.

The grounds are meticulously well maintained, as is the bath house. The owner is incredibly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. It is evident that he takes pride in the grounds and in customer service. The place has a fun railroad theme. The location makes for a great base camp for exploring Fall Creek Falls State Park, Cumberland State Park, Chattanooga, the gorgeous Sequatchie Valley and its quaint little towns. A lazy little country road runs along the side of the campground and leads to a picturesque horse farm a half mile away. It makes for a great morning or evening walk. Rates are reasonable as well.

We only spent one night at the R&R campground, but it was very nice. Tim greeted us at the stop sign and walked us up to the camp site. He guided us in and even placed a leveling rock on one side (I was kind of to one side instead of centered). While socializing, I mentioned that I had destroyed my AC cover after hitting a low sign and he offered to help make a temporary repair. Not only that but he had an old AC cover that he offered to give me. We climbed up on the roof and got things sorted out. Above and beyond all expectations! The campground is neat and tidy, and the landscaping is beautiful. The sites are spacious and in my opinion reasonably priced. Tim is an outstanding host, friendly and sociable, and we definitely will stop again if we are in the area. Try it, you'll like it! Dale & Barb Hering

Tim, the owner was amazing! Best Internet we’ve had in weeks!! Tim, the owner of this RV park, was amazing from beginning to end! We were trying to find a campground last minute on a busy holiday week. He squeezes us in, with full hook ups since it was 90° with 50% humidity. He let us check in early, because he knew we were going to do a cave tour. He gave us advice, and let us know that the cave was on a different time zone, otherwise we would’ve been an hour late. He gave us other suggestions for drives, hikes, tours, and things to see. When we first arrived, he was right there with his level, raked the rocks to make sure we were completely level side to side. The grounds are beautiful, he does an amazing job with all the greenery. His prices were more than fair, in our last six weeks of camping. This was the best Internet we got, and some of the places were 2 to 3 times more expensive than his. We would definitely go here again! As a bonus, he told us about a walk to do in the evening, it was beautiful, and we were able to catch a jar of fireflies, which, since were from Arizona, we had never experienced.

Tim the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Cleanest and nicest campground I’ve had the pleasure staying at. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The utility hookups are clean and orderly, not at all an eyesore as I’ve seen in most campgrounds. Very peaceful atmosphere. You can tell Tim is passionate and proud of his campground.

Owner was wonderful! Very engaging & proud, as he should be, of his RV Park built by his own hands with attention to detail. Bath house was 3 separated private bathrooms, very clean. We will definitely return.

We stayed at R&R for a week and highly recommend it. Tim is an excellent host. We had just purchased our Class C and drove 3.5 hours back to Bledsoe County. We decided to stop at R&R so we could run the A/C because it was hot. Tim so graciously helped us two ol’ folks get set up. I was SO tired and SO grateful for his help. We had stuff in storage in Pikeville and spent the week settling our new home and getting rid of stuff. It was messy while we were doing it and he never gave us any problem about our mess. When we had a storm come up quickly and destroy our tent canopy over the table, Tim kindly helped us gather our empty storage containers that blew all over and cut up and disposed of the frame for us. I highly recommend R&R RV Camp Ground!!! ❤️?❤️

This campground is great. I would give 10 stars if I could. The owner is super friendly and greets you and came to say goodbye when we were leaving. The camp sites are large and nice grassy area. The whole campground is immaculately kept. You couldn’t ask for a nicer place. Definitely stay here. You will be glad you did.

We had an awesome time staying here! Full hookups and very relaxing with great views. Stores are located just down the road in Dunlap. The owner, Tim, is awesome. When we arrived he showed us to our spot and while we were there he told us of some awesome spots to go and check out, which we did. Tim really takes good care of his guests and his campground. He even took the time to get to know and play with our two dogs. When it came time for us to leave he came to wish us safe travels and made sure to say bye to the dogs. We absolutely recommend this campground and we will definitely be back.

I actually stayed here about a year ago, and totally forgot to write a review until now. I am an avid camper and went on a five and a half week road trip last year across the country and tent camped the entire time (my stay here was during that trip). After doing so much camping, here is what I have to say about R&R. 1. I never experienced as great of hospitality anywhere else as I did here. We went tent camping and it unfortunately started raining. We woke up in the morning to a pop up tent outside of our tent! He was kind enough to put that tent up so we could stay dry while we packed up. 2. I never have experienced bathrooms at any other campground as nice & clean as these were. As someone who is a bit of a clean freak, this means the world to me! To the person reading this review, these bathrooms are most likely cleaner than the one in your own home. 3. The scavenger hunt across the campground is a nice little touch and fun way to stay busy! 4. Once again I just want to touch on his hospitality. He took time to talk with us, answer any questions we have, give us suggestions on what to do, and just chat like old friends. He is genuinely a kind soul. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone! If you are considering going, please just go ahead and do it! You will certainly not regret it.

Best camping experience ever! Tim greeted us with a smile when we arrived, guided us to our spot and came back to check in on us once we got settled in. He blew up some colorful balloons for my girls-they were so excited! This place is a beautiful location, well maintained, quiet campground with a large grass area to chase fire flies and play a game of Croquet or Disc Golf. We loved it some much, we stayed an extra day! Thank you Tim for sharing your passion with us!

What a wonderful place for some "R & R"!! Great small campground if you just want to relax. Nothing fancy, just the basics...water, electric, and sewer, but very well maintained and the owner, Tim, is the most helpful and courteous host we have ever met. Plenty of shopping close by if you need to pick up supplies and the price was very reasonable. My wife and I have been camping for years and we will definitely be returning again and again!! Thanks Tim for all your help!!

The valley is beautiful and if you are looking for a quiet night’s sleep or a spot to anchor your day trips this is it. Nestled in between two farms with cattle, horses and chickens, it offers a serene setting and magnificent views. The bathrooms - these offer hot showers but you will think you are in a hotel as every comfort detail has been addressed. Talking with Tim, the owner, is delightful, and don’t forget to walk across the street to buy some farm fresh eggs! Have fun!

Clean and neat. Easy access in and out. Very relaxing spot.Tons of stuff to do in the area. The stay went by in a blink. Everyone mentions the bathhouse because it's nicer than most hotel bathrooms! Tim makes you feel right at home and helps with anything you need. Pride of ownership is apparent all over the campground. We will be back! Thanks again Tim!! We have been here three times this year an we will be back for the fall foliage for sure. Five state parks within an hour from here. We always have a great time. Tim is a great host and the campground is immaculate.

What a great facility! So clean and very family friendly. The owner is the nicest person. He was always available if we needed anything. The restrooms/showers were an unexpected and appreciated bonus, new and very clean. The kids loved the animals (horse/cows/chickens) on each side of the property, and it was so easy to get everywhere we needed to go each day. We will be back!

This was one of our favorite campgrounds! We loved it quaint setting and railroad theme playing off R & R for Rest & Relax! The campgrounds are maintained and the owner takes pride in his campground. It is well maintained and totally adorable- the shower house is a boxcar! So cool! Tim, the owner, wears a conductors hat to complete the train theme. The site has a cute goldfish pond, neighboring property has ponies! There are walking trains and a fun scavenger hunt that will take you all over the property! The campgrounds is one of only a handful that recycle! If we’re going to continue to camp in beautiful outdoor spaces, we need to care for our earth. The price is totally reasonable, if not on the lower side at $35 with taxes for full hookups. We loved it and plan to return next year!

R&R campground is very quiet and relaxing. The owner Tim was very nice and helpful. He came by and picked our trash up daily, brought us some firewood and let us come along with him while he fed his fish in his pond and while he fed the horses and cows. The campground is the cleanest we’ve been too. The bathhouse gets cleaned and sanitized multiple times a day. Very affordable sites and would definitely recommend this campground and it’s owner to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be back again. If you’re looking for a campground to Rest and Relax, R&R campground is for you!

We are new to RV camping and our long weekend at R&R Campground was a great experience for a rookie. The owner was super friendly and very helpful as we set up. He even rigged an extra stair and a handrail for our safety. The grounds were well manicured and the bathhouse was super clean. We were centrally located in the valley with a beautiful view. We look forward to coming back to R&R Campground and we highly recommend if you are in the area!

I had some car troubles while visiting Fall Creek Falls state park. We ended up booking a last minute night here and I am so glad we did! The bathhouse was very nice and well kept. When we arrived and met the owner he was very helpful and friendly. It was fun doing his scavenger hunt around the property too!

This campsite is right in the Sequatchie Valley. It has electric and water hookups and wi-fi near the brand new bathhouse. When we were there the owner was still working on some of the sites but ours was great. We have a 24 ft bunkhouse and it fit perfect. I noticed 30 and 50 amp connections. The owner even offered to help hook us up. It is convenient to a few Tennessee State Parks. Beautiful scenery and happy to help out a new campground!
