Unfortunately, I had a really poor experience here. I financed a 2013 Hyundai Sonata hybrid from DJ Hughes/Mr Recovery in July. It broke down immediately on the way home. They were apologetic, came out and fixed the bad ignition coils they didn't catch before selling it. Didn't charge me. I thought that was nice.
Couple weeks later, another ignition coil went out. They fixed it again, no charge. I still think that's nice, but I'm starting to wonder why they didn't catch any of these easy fixes before they sold it to me. I'm starting to worry what else might be wrong with it.
Couple weeks later, it started making crazy noises and shaking. Whole engine apparently went out, it needs total replacement. I had to get it towed back to them. DJ said well, we can put in a new engine but you'll have to pay for it. I said I would rather just have my money back, considering you sold me a car with all these problems you somehow didn't notice before you took my cash for it.
DJ said nope, I can't give you any money back, but I won't make you pay me the rest of the eight thousand you technically still owe me. I said I would certainly hope not, considering you have possession of the car and it doesn't run or drive.
I asked for something in writing to state that the contract is null and void. DJ says, "you can't just void a contract," but he is willing to tell me via text message that he will not pursue further payment.
Hopefully that's legally binding and he doesn't change his mind.
I am now out almost $3,000 with absolutely nothing to show for it. I guess I should be grateful it wasn't worse.
Be careful here. They seem like nice people, and they did appear to try, but only up to a point. I would not recommend this business to anyone who needs a working vehicle instead of an expensive mistake. They are still going to take your money either way.
Mr Recovery is a good company I actually talked to the owner one of the best guys and if you are looking for a car, look them up or if u are looking for towing company. Five star all the way!!!

Absolutely amazing. I was looking to junk my car because my transmission went out. Everyone else was telling me I couldn't get much out of it. They were up front and honest and gave me more than I ever thought I could get.
One of the very few used car dealerships out here where you're dealing with honest people that care about the customers and reputation of the business they're running. This was my last stop for a car and they helped me get into one that has been very reliable and the customer service has been great.
Long story short, i had a title loan that i got behind on with a company that i won't name. The company that i went through had Mr. Dj come and get my car. I paid my car off in full about 4 days ago, and I still don't have my car. Because the horrible company that I got the loan from has done nothing to help me, and has given me the run-around this whole time. Thank God! Mr. Dj was the one who ended up with my car. He not only filled me in on everything that had happened. He has also went above and beyond to do everything in his power to help me get my car back. Which thanks to him will hopefullybe today. When it wasn't even his responsibility to do so. I have felt so alone throughout this whole process, and not knowing what to do until i spoke to Mr. Dj. He has absolutely been an angel in disguise for me. Because he certainly didn't have to help me in any way whatsoever. But that is definitely the type of human being he is. Mr. Dj if you read this, Thanks again for all of your help. You have been so kind to me, and I am very grateful. I pray that God continues to Bless You, your Family & Company.

Awesome guy & very friendly!! I was sending my car back to the dealership & they used his company to pick the car up. When he called he asked me when would be a good time to come vs just coming & towing the car & he also gave me a boost so I could finish getting my items out the trunk & not 1 time rushed me or complained & he even gave me a heads up when he was on the way & outside.. Contacted the owner about a van he had for sale and asked if we could come see it on Saturday morning. He proceeded to tell me that he had already spoke with my 'husband' (I'm not married or engaged) and that we lived too far away and therefor he would not sell to us. I had told him my address which was within his limits, and he stated I lived somewhere else and he wouldn't sell to us. I have no idea who he was confusing me with, but it was very unprofessional. We will be taking our money elsewhere to purchase a van. I do not reccomment this place at all because they will not even meet with you. I guess they don't want money or to sell vehicles. Oh well.
*Editing to add:* The owner then proceeded to use his personal business to try to look up personal information without consent since i hadnt even given him my full name or anything and Harrass me by private messaging, searching out my private phone number and calling and texting to scare me into removing my negative review. Absolutly unprofessional to harass someone over a negative review.
My name is Lee M I live in Franklin Tennessee. I had a car that wasn’t Running and I needed to get it out of my yard. I called Mr. recovery. He came in towed My car I couldn’t find my title at the time so I let him took the car and he said when I got the duplicate title to mail to him and he would mail me a check. He did exactly what he said. They are one of the most honorable towing service. DJ thought my 1996 red GMC jimmy was out for repo. He had looked at his paperwork wrong! all I have to say, is people make mistakes. He made a honest mistake, and I appreciate his kindness!! thank you sir if I ever need a tow I will keep you in mind because you were gentle with my truck! One more thing I didn't tell you the other night when I was 18 to about 30 I did repos with my dad at his company! (I used to be a tow truck driver when he was alive kind of miss it )It's a very dangerous job and all I can say is be careful!!
I am new in town and locked my car keys in the car while I went inside to get gas after a job interview and completely panicked and stopped and prayed. These guys are THE BEST!! My car died while driving in horrible traffic with my 2 year old. It was almost 90 degrees outside. I had called a couple of other companies & they said it would be 2 - 3 hours. I couldn't have my baby on the side of the road in that heat for that long! I had decided to try one more company before I called a cab & left my car. He answered & said he was close by & would be there within 20 minutes. He was there in 15 minutes. Before he even looked at my car, he put my baby in his truck with the air on. He said he had 2 little girls & wouldn't want them sitting in the heat! He looked at the car & said that the alternator had gone out. He boosted my car & sure enough, the alternator was locked up. He towed it to a shop that he recommended. I was back on the road within 3 hours of it breaking down. He was the nicest guy & they have a customer for life!! I HIGHLY recommend them!!
