Very helpful, answered my questions. I was running behind with my last load of scrap for the day, but they still got me taken care of. Lot is well taken care of. Don't worry about flat tires like some other places.
After years of them picking up scrap metal from us, they recently picked up and told us that they would have to bring back an empty bin for us. Well that was 4 weeks ago. We've called once a week and asked if they had forgotten. They apologized and we'll bring one tomorrow each time. Today I had my assistant call and ask again. She was told he was busy and don't call back and find someone else to pick up your scrap. Wow rude and ignorant.
Sold my old car to Averitt for parts, & the whole process was simple & hassle free from beginning to end. Friendly on the phone, & a no nonsense driver picked up my vehicle the same day. They also offered $50 more than other local salvage yards. I'd definitely recommend Averitt to friends.
Wayne and Jason are awesome people they will go out of their way to help you in any way they can and finding whatever it needs you need to take care of the problem you have I've known him for years and I highly recommend them that they are the only people that I do business with
I ride along with a friend often as he sells his scrap Metal to Averitt's. It's a great family run business. They make you feel welcome. They're always helpful. It's quick to get in and out of.
