This is a 5 star review for how they handled a mistake. Called around and went with discount towing on a recommendation from a friend in the car business. Got a text they were 30 minutes out from towing the car. About 4 hours later, the owner calls and said they had a truck breakdown, and he would tow it now if I still wanted. I thought it was towed hours ago. After he finished towing it, he called me and apologized, and didn't charge me. I can understand an owner of a business relying on employees, and the employee makes a pretty bad decision. I'm just grateful the owner called me and sincerely apologized, then made it right by not charging me. This tow cost him money instead of making money. But owning a mistake and doing whatever he can to make it right says a lot about his character. Based on that, 5 star review and I would use discount towing again in the future.
Discount towing was timely and cost-effective. He was to me in under an hour early in the morning after a he worked all night. Towed from Murfreesboro to Christiana and I guarantee his price can’t be beat. Lifetime customer from here on out.
Very kind and efficient! Gave a good rate and safely brought my car home, was considerate enough to give me a courtesy jump just to try and see. Was very gentle with my car and had no problem helping us push it into our spot. 10/10!
Got a tow very early on a Saturday morning. Quick to answer and was there in only a couple minutes. Accommodated my dog in his truck. It was way less expensive than other guys in the area.
Discount Towing has always been super reliable for us! We have called them after accidents and breakdowns for almost 20 years. The best thing is when our kids started driving they knew a reliable company to call if it was needed. In addition to handling tows to the shop for our family, Discount Towing gave us priceless peace of mind a handful of times when our teenage drivers needed someone. Doesn't return phone calls, doesn't meet you at the lot like he said he would (waited over 2 hours and he was a no show.. then said he would call when he was close to the lot.. never did..) and makes you wait longer to drive up the price of storage fees
Towing hustlers.. towed a car that broke down and parked at church for 1 day. Left to get parts and come back they had it towed off. Call them and want to pay fee and tow to my house. They say cash only at lot. Cone pay first.tgey are hoping for people that can't afford it. Which I can and got it back.but they are trying to make it impossible so they can keep yourcar
This company was referred to me many years ago by Bill Livingston. I have only had to use them twice and recommended them many times to others. They are reliable and so kind when you are so scared and don't know what to do. I highly recommend them.

One of your drivers was out on a THP with me i-24w mm80 and started helping me without being asked he even offered me bottled water. I just want to say thank you I really appreciate the help I wish there were more drivers like him on the road.
So, my car was stolen and ditched at an elementary school. For starters, 300 dollars for this car to be towed 5 minutes when it was stolen is ridiculous. I get it’s a business, but to be told this was a discounted rate is laughable. Second, it took 4 hours to get my car from these people and they didn’t seem the least bit concerned. Then had the nerve to tell me they were waiving the “after hours” charge even though it was only after hours because we were waiting on them. Secondly, guy didn’t bother to answer any of our questions regarding the vehicle. Just poor service in every regard.
I’m not saying I shouldn’t pay for my stolen car to get out, but to try and tell me $300 dollars is a discounted rate was a joke. I hope the owners rot.
David was friendly and professional. After my accident, the convertible top was stuck down. He helped keep the interior of my car from being damaged by temporarily covering it while it sat on his lot, and it was clear to me that he took care to do this properly. He also helped me get it back up a couple days later, and helped me access the trunk that was stuck so that I could get the rest of my belongings. I'll always call Discount Towing when I need the services he offers.
They picked up my vehicle at my own apartment complex. I parked in a handicap parking spot bc I have a placard due to my mother being disabled. Apparently when I shut my door, the placard flew to my floorboard. I didn't know it came down. I was charged a whopping $260! Wayyyyy higher than any other company. When I got to my vehicle, I showed him my placard. They had NO sympathy at all!
My wife's car broke down while picking up our daughter from her job. Money is a little tight at the moment and I know that towing a vehicle can get pricey. This was the first place I called and after telling him where the car was and where to tow it he gave me a very reasonable estimate, not as high as I was thinking it would be. The driver, Andy, met up with my wife so she could give him the keys. My wife told me about an hour after calling them that the car had been towed to the house. She also said that Andy was able to get the car under my car port, which I thought would be a bit difficult, but that he was very nice and professional. I will definitely be referring anyone to use this business for their fast affordable service. Thank you discount towing and thank you Andy.
These guys were quick to come pick up my vehicle and came within 20 minutes of me calling them. The fee was very reasonable. I rely on reviews when choosing a new service provider and am always happy when the positive reviews describes my experience.
Was a resident at a student apartment near MTSU, came out to see that my car was missing, thought someone stole it. After confirming with Murfreesboro Police, I was notified that my car was towed.
The parking sticker that lived on my windshield somehow got peeled off during a detailing service and made its way onto my dashboard. They charged me $200+ to release my car to me and was extremely rude and was not willing to work with me.
The company is not willing to give you a discount for towing your car that shouldn't have been towed in the first place. What a joke.
The company goes under the name "MTR" and disguise itself as "discount towing" so that they can't be reviewed.
The gentleman who came git there in no time, around the holiday too. Knew what he was doing. 30 yrs with the company. Fair price and no issues. A+ in my book.
My mom and grandmother were stranded at a gas station. I called from Georgia, and he was the most polite person I had talked to the entire experience. He was by himself, but he did everything he could to ensure my mother and grandmother were taken care of. When he wasn’t able to tow the car, he found someone just as reliable as he was to come and help. He didn’t even charge me for coming and doing the work he performed. He call the next morning to make sure my mom and grandmom has made it home safely and her car had been received by the dealership. Awesome, AWESOME, AWESOME, service. Thank you so much!!!
They weren't really busy but it took some time for someone to come and get our drink and food order. Food wasn't hot and good as in the past. Waitress wasn't very attentive to our table.
My husband's car broke down unexpectedly about 20 minutes out from our home. Thankfully David was able to pick up the truck and bring it to our house within an hour and 20 minutes from the time we first called him.

My grandson got his car towed by this firm for illegally parking at an apartment complex. The front desk person was friendly, but I could never get a clear answer why the fee was $200. We got the car out of their lot the same day.
Had a flat tire today with a restless two year old in tow. After many increasingly frustrating minutes on the phone with various companies, I finally reached someone who could help us quickly. Discount Towing was there for the rescue very quickly. Juan was the tow truck driver that changed my tire out to the spare. He was very friendly and quick. I appreciate him and Discount Towing for their great service today. Hopefully I won’t need any roadside assistance again, but if I do, I’ll know who to call first.
I got into a wreck and the cops called them and they took my car away. They were nice at first but I wasn't available to come to see my car till a couple days later. When i finally came and I asked them what the price was they said they would get back with me. They never did. I was too busy trying to get a ride to work and school that I couldn't come till 2 weeks later and he told me my bill was 800 dollars just for sitting there. He never told me how much it would be so I didn't worry to much but I had to end up giving him my car and 100 dollars because I didn't have that money. The car is worth so much more alone but he wouldn't take it. I would never come here agian and you shouldn't either.
