Very first time using Mid-Tenn and my last. Thought they would be convenient since they are only one open in Saturday. As a business owner with a license I can appreciate getting people in and out quickly. I mentioned the fact that I was licensed to gentleman at the entrance. He advised let the next person know. The gentleman weighing my copper. Mr Greg Vaughn as he entered my scrap into the system. He advised me to tell the woman at the check out window. I did just that and she print me a invoice proceeded to tell me that I should've mentioned this to Mr.Vaughn ahead of time....
Needless to say I was told that I didn't bring it up to the right people and at this point I was told I would have to wait the 5 days since Noone heard me bring up the fact that I am licensed and trying to avoid the 5 day wait.
Would recommend this place to sell your scrap. They was quick to get me in and out and friendly. Easy access to get in and out. You can call and check what current prices are
Sorry place won't take walk-ins for bringing my bags of aluminium cans for recycling, then I get a vehicle to use, and the Internet hrs show 12 o'clock closing. I get there by 11:50am, and then he tells me they are closed. So I threw my 4 bags of aluminum cans away in the dumpster !!!! THANKS FOR NOTHING AND A WASTE OF MY TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great service, they paid a fair price for my metal. They sweep their lot and keep a clean place. Always have men on nice forklifts that bring you bins and help you unload.
Only reason there is a star for this is so I can leave a review This guy rips people off I just offloaded half a ton of stainless steel and got $12 Shame on you!
They where very nice to me and answered my questions . I was in and out in all of 7 minutes! The men are very respectful and friendly. The lady as the cashier was very respectful and friendly as well!! They pay very well! Also take all thing possible to scrap open on Saturdays!
Go AT YOUR OWN RISK FOR REAL- From what I've heard and seen, THE ONLY repeat business this place gets is from regular thieving &/or aggressive scrappers that he knows are bringing large quantities that can't be traced. I've been ripped off over $100 total and over those 4 trips in 15 yrs, i just about got ran over and left for dead twice.
Never a problem after scrapping here for 14 years. If you follow procedure and have a valid ID then never a worry. This is a family owned business and they have to follow the laws as they are written and they do! Don't try to scam and you will have a pleasant experience.
They hurry up and take your stuff to the scales and weigh it and take it off before you can get there to see what it actually weighs I've been there twice and then ripped off twice do not go to this place there con artists and their Liars, rude, thieves.
Came here twice today. First time they would not the freezer or fridge because it needed to be cleaned out. I cleaned it out both of them and would only take the refrigerator and would you take the freezer after doing what they requested then they cast me out before adding all of this scrap that I had so they basically ripped me off
Super Nice Folks :-) Just the place to take those old hair dryers - curling irons - fans - heaters . Again Super Sweet Folks. Just 1st time requires Photo ID + thumb print. NO big deal it's just the law; Thanks to Thievies in the Past.
I just went to this place to recycle a battery. The guy at the scale said that my license was "invalid" because there was a scratch on the bar code (lie). I asked him if he can type it in the system and he said he had to scan it (lie). I asked him what he does with people that have out of state licenses without a bar code. He said all states have them (lie, 32 of 50 do). I left and went to the police station because it was on my way home. They looked at my license and said it was perfectly legal. So I guess I can't go back to this place because of that one guy's complete ignorance and incompetence.
Worst experience, EVER! We have been cashing in scrap metal for years in different states. This place is by far the worst. The employees were lazy and didn't even bother to get off of the fork lift. The person weighing the metal was picky, picky and the prices were extremely low. We will NEVER go back. Clark's Metal from now on.
