I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Ray and John. They have been very accommodating to my circumstances with the times I’ve had available and the body work has been impeccable.
If I could go lower I WOULD. I recently called for a paint job estimate on my 63’ Belair and we agreed to meet up at the shop, I went and the doors were closed during opening hours. I knocked but no response, I called and no pick up. After waiting 20 minutes at the shop, I decided again and an employee picked up, while I was communicating with him about my estimate, he cut me off mid sentence and hanged up. That was a very rude customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Told me ahead of time the price and part cost. Never tried to "upsale" or rip me off. I know very little about cars but knew my dash board flashing at me was a bad sign. Lol. I am so happy with the service and the price. I definitely recommend.
After searching with several “commercial” auto repair shops Mr. Ray welcomed me with an open heart and guarantee he would take care of my needs. Words cannot express the magnitude of my thanks to Mr. Ray and his staff! Blessings to you.
Hands down best mechanic shop in middle Tennessee. I've been conned by 2 different shops in Smyrna and this place is 1000% gold. Ray is a miracle worker and went WAY above and beyond for me and my family. A mechanic you can REALLY trust. I just thank God for him and his shop.
I loved this place so much I gave them thousands. Experienced a few failed attempts at trying to find a leak in my AC. I paid a good price and saw they used a screw on hose clamp to hold the high pressure side hose on. It worked for a week or so. Another fix was an exhaust leak which we replaced the manifold and some of the exhaust pipe. They told my my truck was too old and I needed to go sell it fast, while it still worked! Blue book on it is only about 2K, so - no, I want to get my $ worth out of the repairs. Well, of course the air died and the exhaust broke shortly after that. I had to pay labor again for the warranty manifold (understandable), but the new one leaks too. Now I can't get through testing and will be taking my truck to another shop.
Ray's is a small family owned shop that I've trusted many years to keep my older vehicles in service ..Ray always has been honest and fair and I highly recommend his shop.
Came here awhile back for an estimate. Tried to charge me for a part that I didnt need in the qoute. Glad I just came here for an estimate because I was met with a rude attitude from one of the employees or owner. Never will comeback here again.
I was beyond pleased with my whole experience with Ray's. Friendly and honest staff, excellent work, finished in record time and very fair pricing! I have already recommended them to several of my friends and Ray is now on my speed dial for any future car repair needs! Thanks so much!
If I could rate any lower, I would. When my father went to get his air conditioning fixed they said no problem and paid the $500+ in cash. A day later, he returned expecting a working air condinier, it still wasn't working. He went inside and asked if they fixed the right car. The man said he was sure it was that one and that he "thought" he had the problem fixed. Clearly he didn't. Once my father said it either needs to be fixed or a refund, the man automatically used very offensive racial slurs towards my father and rejected any refund/fixing. It ended with the police getting involved. We are currently still without air conditioning in the car. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
Honest people here. They quoted me for a higher price, but when I got there to pick up my car, Ray said we repaired the part instead of replacing it. My bill was much lower than I expected. That's complete honesty. I love the work and the friendly people.
