today, 10-15-2025 I took our Ford Escape into Honest-1 for an oil change. Showed up a little before 8am and the place was already in full swing. I decided to hang around and wait, well I was done and out the door before 9am and the price was very easy on my pocket. I will continue to be a customer of Honest-1, they say what they're going to do and do what they say and I feel they are an honest business here in Clarksville.
We bought a pick up from a local dealership on Aug 6 2025. The truck had a faulty engine. The guys at Honest 1 replaced the engine and we are on the road again. THANK YOU HONEST 1 for your guidance and support and professionalism. We won’t be going anywhere else for any future mechanical issues on any of our vehicles. You are the best.
They were ready before my scheduled appointment. Took care of my car quickly. Waiting area is clean and very hospitable. The staff explained everything in detail. I am sure I will be back.
A true blessing! My mom, my son (who is in a wheelchair) and myself, drove down to clarksville tn. From Minnesota 13hr drive. And my van broke down we brought it to Honest-1 auto care . They were aware I need my van back ASAP, because I had no other way to transport my son , and the problem was I over filled my van with gas( I will never do that again) anyway they got it up and running and they are so kind and I will forever be thankful for all they did for us ! Thank you all again !!

I love this shop.They are great. I am not car savvy. I went in and told them I heard a clicking noise and the steering wheel was shaking. They were able to find and fix the problem. They take care of all of my vehicles
Shoutout to the crew at Honest-1! Dade went above and beyond to track down a sporadic issue with my vehicle and left no stone unturned. That kinda devine discontent and good mechanic work is hard to find. Good service might cost a lil extra (money/patience) but its worth every dollar at Honest-1
BEWARE these people will try to scam you with an incorrect diagnostic, extremely overpriced solutions, they will take much longer then originally quoted, and when inquiring about our vehicle they gave us the worst customer service over the phone. They tried to charge me $2700 for a $580 repair.
Details of my worst mechanic experience:
I chose to be towed here after reading the positive the reviews and “honest” being in the name that they would be.. honest.. but sadly that was not the case. $170 for a diagnostic is way above average (120-150 max) One fuel injector malfunctioned so they stated all four fuel injectors needed replacement and a full tune up totaling $2700. I asked him the price of one fuel injector and the tune up for $1700 but I knew that was way too much. Towed my car to another mechanic. Their diagnostic ($120) said one Coil (the actual fuel injector was fine) and 4 spark plugs needed to be replaced totaling $580.
Thank god I chose another shop. It’s sad they would try to take advantage of people like this. There was no need to recommend a full tune up and 4 fuel injector replacements on a vehicle that had a bad coil, one bad spark plug, with only 70,000 miles.
Never have I ever had an auto shop give me such a detailed analysis on my vehicle. Even included picture and videos. They definitely live up to their name. My go to for car repairs from now on.
My A/C went out in my 2007 Lexus LS460. Honest1 diagnosed it as a faulty blower motor, They quoted me $1700 for a blower motor installation. I declined the service because I’ve changed blower motors before, and know it’s a relatively simple swap. When I told them I would be changing it myself, they lied, saying the blower motor was located behind the instrument cluster and the entire dash would have to be taken out. I googled it the entirety of the removal and installation consisted of 3 screws and 2 clips that are easily accessed, 10 minutes worth of work. I bought the part myself from EBay, and fixed it myself for $80. It’s sad that local companies are trying to take advantage of people that don’t know any better.
I've been hooked ever since my 1st visit last year (2024)... very transparent and trustworthy... outstanding and very professional staff and techs. GOD Bless the Staff and the establishment... Honest 1 Auto Care is number #1 in my book!
I had my vehicle towed here due to engine issue. Unfortunately my vehicle does in fact need a new engine. Austin quoted me $11,000 for an engine. When I purchased my vehicle, I didn’t buy any warranties, so I didn’t even think to call the dealership to see if I had any extended warranties on it. Austin told me before I made the decision on my vehicle, I should get a hold of the dealership to see if they happen to have an extended warranty on it, because this unfortunately is a common error with this type of vehicle. He truly could’ve just taken my money, and what about his day. Instead, he informed me of this in hopes for a better outcome. I am new to this area, and I am extremely grateful of his kindness, I will definitely bring my vehicle back here is I run into any more issues.
I have been using Honest-1 for years now. I am always happy with the results on my 2 old cars. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly and answer questons.
Got the A/C fixed on my car. Very satisfied with the whole experience. Friendly crew, completing the work in a timely manner, cost and quality of work.

The team at Honest-1 are fantastic! I took my Audi in for a second opinion after the dealership recommended ~$3300 in maintenance and repair costs. The Honest-1 team were able to do it all for several hundred dollars less and much closer to home. I will absolutely be back. I feel like a valued customer who is welcome and who's business matters to the team.
Genuinely the best experience at a car shop as a woman. I called and spoke to Michael and he told me i could come in this afternoon for a free brake inspection. He never talked down on me or assumed i didnt know anything. he explained everything and didnt try to scam or upsell me on anything.They were able to complete the job at that moment as well. It was clean and smelled good inside. They also have a kids corner and a changing table in the restroom. Def coming back again if i have more issues with my car. 100/10 recommend!

We brought our car in same day to get a lug nut stud repaired (due to another tire business’ error). They were extremely busy and said we’d have to come back next week (this was a Thursday). However, after we shared our predicament, and that we were going on a road trip later that same day, they were understanding and so gracious to squeeze us in! We are grateful for businesses like Honest-1 Auto Care! They really do CARE, and went out of their way to help us get on the road as fast as possible! They also have a very nice lobby area, clean, comfortable, and stocked with a few beverages and snacks, and a cute little play area for the kids! And most importantly, they did an awesome repair job! My check engine light came on in my Audi and no one could look at it , too booked up. I called Honest 1 and talked to Michael and he immediately looked at it and solved the problem! He did not charge me an arm and a leg to look at it. His team is quick, professional and courteous. They are very helpful and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs!
Although my insurance (Oasis) and don’t go for them trust me. The Honest One team specially, Mike in dealing with my insurance company worked hard to get my vehicle fixed. I give them two thumbs up and thanks for being able to fix my little things to my transmission. You guys are my go to team
So I've been in Clarksville going on 7 years. Finding trustworthy mechanics has not been a goal until recently. By a freak occurrence, I happened on Honest-1. Have been there twice now and have no complaints. The pricing is (I suppose) compatible to other "car shops." (I have not done that homework). They have, to date, understood my financial situation and are working on whats .necessary. Meaning they are not pressuring me to put more money into my vehicle all at once. The 3 stars status may be updated soon, but so far I'm pleased with their work and service.
I drove my vehicle to honest care auto shop and left it there for service. During the adjustment of my rear right trailing arm, the mechanic informed me that they had broken the bolt connecting two components due to rust or seizing but I wasn’t warn before the operation because they could tell if the bolt was in bad shape they said. They advised me to obtain a replacement bolt, which they intended to charge a significant amount to order.
The following day, I acquired the replacement bolt and brought it to the shop for installation. To my surprise, I was presented with a labor bill exceeding $150, including tool supply fees, for what was estimated as one hour of work. Reluctantly, I paid for the removal of the bolt, even though the job remained incomplete.
Consequently, my car was inoperable, and I had to arrange for it to be transported on a trailer to another repair shop. I spent the entire night, until 2 in the morning, replacing the suspension component that had a broken bolt lodged in it and ultimately replacing the entire piece.
This unfortunate situation left me physically exhausted, and I was unable to attend my college courses the next day due to the extensive work required to restore my vehicle to working condition.
I drove my car there and wasn’t able to drive it back home
But who am I to only talk about the bad the mechanic and the front office was really respectful and treated me humanely
Unlike other shops I've had to go to over the years, I'm 100% confident that the work done here was necessary and done correctly.
The waiting room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Complimentary drinks and snacks. But best of all is the service. These guys are the best I've ever dealt with.
One recommendation: make an appointment! There's a reason they're busy and it takes time to be good and do it right. I'll be brining my car here from now on.
EDIT: I wrote the above review while checking out, I was pleasantly surprised when I came out to my car and saw a thank you note and a bag of pretzels!
