Dropped my Peterbilt off 1/19/26 for front leaf spring bushings, front brakes, front engine mount, clutch adjustment, and annual DOT. Id been running my other truck and engine went out so trying to get this one back on the road which is why the random laundry list of things. They couldnt give me an estimate till they priced parts. Understandable. Next day, no estimate. Days go by call back to check estimate and they say theyll have one tomorrow. Call tomorrow before closing time still no estimate. Go through this 3 times before I finally stop by in person just to see whats going on cause I hadnt heard anything on 1/31/26. i pull up just as theyre pulling the truck in the shop so I went in and asked if they could shoot me a ball park estimate just so I have an idea what to expect. I know labor and stuff can vary I just wanted ball park. He shoots me a labor number on the bushings and clutch couldnt give me a price on the parts till he saw what all it needed. I asked about brakes he said brakes were fine no point in doing them. I end up picking my truck up on 2/6/26. bushings were done. Clutch adjustment was done. Front motor mount wasnt touched. They didnt do the annual cause the truck needed steers which I forgot to put them on before I had a brand new set waiting to go on it so I told them Id bring it back after I got the steers on. I throw the new tires on over the weekend and carry the truck back 2/9/26 for the annual. He comes out there fails me on the brake wear. The same brakes I told them to change. Failed me for brake lights not working but found out key has to be on for brake lights to come on. Also failed me for a wheel seal “barely starting to seep”. I wasnt suprised if that was the case cause this trucks been sitting but I have crawled all around this wheel seal thats supposed to be seeping and found nothing that indicates a seeping wheel seal. I admit Im not the sharpest mechanic and this is an old truck. The front shoes didnt have wear bars so thats why I thought I needed the front brakes I thought they were worn. Come to find out after I tore all this down myself that new shoes in this style do not come with wear bars. Im sitting here holding new shoes up to the same old shoes he failed me on and if one wasnt dirty you couldnt tell the dang difference. The drum doesnt even have a lip. The rear brakes all have visible distance to wear bars one axle may be getting a little close but still passable. I couldve been running today after being down for this long making some money back but Im running around on a wild goose chase replacing stuff that doesnt even need replacing. Beyond frustrating I was really hoping this would work out and I would actually have a shop local for once but I will continue to drive 2 hours one way to have my truck worked on if its something I cant do myself. Ive crawled all under and over this truck and in its current state I wouldnt worry to drive it through any scale house and let them take a look. Ive included a picture of the “wore” out brake. After the new bushings the inside of my steers rub real bad but Im guessing that would fall under an alignment issue now that the bushings arnt wore out. I hate dogging on anybody but dang the frustration, lost time, lost money. Be aware of your equipment. I could be paying them to put whole new set of brakes and a seeping wheel seal on a truck that doesnt need any of it. Especially after I already told them to replace one set of brakes and while it was there they told me I dont need them. Diabolical.
Great job marker lights on trailer was out and they figured out the problem in 20 minutes and was out in 30 minutes Ty for your service off to get another load
Mathew was awesome had a trailer with no lights. i own a Hotshot company and previous receiver sliced some wires unloading. I found this company at closing time they took me right in stayed after hours and got me rolling. And pricing is excellent so is the customer service
God sent an angel by the name of Tim to save me and my son tonight. Freezing cold and coming back from his daddy’s funeral found ourself stranded at a gas station for over an hour trying to change a tire and without hesitation he stopped and had us on the road in 5 minutes. Miracles come in all sorts of sizes. Thank you for the unwavering generosity. You will forever be a hero.

Stopped by to buy a couple of feet of air brake hose, and to my surprise, they gave it to me for free! Great customer service and super helpful staff. It’s rare to find a shop that goes out of its way like that. Definitely coming back for any diesel needs. Highly recommend!

Had a truck driver of mine head over to this shop with a freightliner alternator problem. These guys were so helpful! They were able to lend him a helping hand with their tools & fixed the problem right away! 1000/10 recommend!!! Thanks guys!!
These people were honest. When I called they said it would be a few hours. Called me back when they were available and showed up when they told me they would. Had the airbag in stock to get me back rolling quickly.
This towing company is Ripoff company has to be out of business immediately from the State ,they towed your truck and then blackmail you for payment , They over charge you more then a double our bill was $4,500 and for payment only you can pay with EFS money code they are telling you they don't have bank account and not any other option and if you don't pay they want to tow to yard to charge you for more money . Don't called them for anything we will report them to BBB ,They are stealing money from people specially trucking companies !!!
Was having issues with PTO and transmission on Peterbilt Car Hauler. Shane helped as soon as we anrrived and was able to diagnose and fix the issue within minutes. I would highly recommend DFS to anyone. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff.
We called in the morning to get a Differential Seal replaced, and was told to come on in that they had the seal and can start on the truck once driver arrived. Our driver arrived at 11 am to find out that he had to wait till they got back from lunch, Driver has been waiting since 11 am to 1 pm to channge out a seal that maybe with someone that knows what there doing can take about 45- to an hour of labor. Workers arrived and still didnt get off their trucks to start working on our truck. Driver got fed up and left. Its a shame how they work here and if you are busy trying to make money on the road like we are I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SHOP. you can clearly see their there to collect a paycheck and go.
If i could give these crooks Zero stars i would This place charged my company 15k to overhaul our motor just for it to grenade months later. Once the motor was opened up we found that none of the parts were replaced!! This is a horrible lying dishonest company RUN away from them then they charged $4500 for a tow !!!!!! and tried to charge me 7k These doors need to be shut permanently!!!!!
My refer unit would not start needed a roadside battery change they came in a timely manner but they are a little expensive 485$ when they told me 100 call out and 100 per hour and they unpriced the battery to 160$ come on now would def use these guys again but only if I had too. Only good thing I can say they came out fast to my truck and did the job, but my wallet is still hurting.
Went in the shop Saturday Night of the August 22 ,2020. They don’t like to answer phone. My truck went there cause I trusted them to get it right. We all agreed it was electrical. It was obvious. Nothing was turning over with the turn of the key. I went to the shop the following Tuesday afternoon to see the progress they made. They said they were done and ready to bill. They assured me it was wires under the dash that rubbed up against something and cut them in half. They acted funny when I went out there to restart the truck when it was in the shop, it sent a bad vibe to me. But the one mechanic came out and told me he had to tighten a few things. Make a long story short I paid $1100 for a repair I thought was fixed, and here I am again on Friday night with the same problem. I totally don’t recommend coming here for this same problem. I am making calls to some people to see what I have to do to get my money back now. Tired of getting ripped off. If anyone else wants to dispute this. They can call me.
If it's not one thing, it's another. From brokers price gouging, to Mobile repair services charging ridiculous prices to fix a COOLANT HOSE.
This picture was taken by the service man that went out and worked on my truck. This was taken in the service truck that was sent out. As you can see, he enjoyed himself with a few cold ones because he knew that opportunities to assist helpless drivers only come around so often, and he took advantage of his charging nearly $1700 to fix ONE COOLANT HOSE!
I do not recommend EVER using this shop, not only because of the outrageous price, but because you don't know whether or not the gentleman will show up coherent. Lets hope he put the correct parts on my vehicle, and that my driver makes it back safe and sound.
This is an embarrassment, and we need to put an end to this.

This place kept my semi truck for 8 weeks telling me that they were going to start on it the next day every day. They never fixed it and I had to get local police dept to help me pick up my truck. They charged me a outrageous fee to falsely diagnose my truck. After getting my unfixed truck back I have now ran into several people that they have ripped off. I have been in the trucking business for 15 years and have never had this bad of service.
We recommend this place of business as # 1. We were on the way to AL and stopped in without an appointment to see if we could get our lights fixed on our cargo trailer. We met two of the most caring, kind and knowledgeable men who had us on our way in no time with fixed brake lights and blinking lights. These two men are certainly a rarity in todays world. Please stop in to see them, you will be glad you did.
I wouldn't even give them a half star. My truck broke down in Alabama and had to wait 3 hours for them to show up and on top of that, the guy was showing me attitude because he couldn't find where I was and was showing frustration. My truck had a air leak and I explained what the problem was, but without even looking at my truck, he told me that he had no other option, but to tow my truck and they will fix it tomorrow morning. They charged me $291.00 just to show up. I don't mind paying the amount if they would at least try to help me and fix the problem. He gave a number, so I can tow my truck. After he left, I fixed the problem temporarily with the help of another person and then I drove my truck to Neely Coble Company in Decatur, AL. They fixed my truck within 10 minutes and with no charge. It just needed a air fitting. I wouldn't use DFS Truck or recommend them ever!
My trailer lights would not work. I pulled into DFS and they cleaned the contact points which took them about 25 minutes including diagnosing the problem. They didn't charge me a lick. Great place!
I took my truck to DFS and they were Great! I took it to other shops they could not figure out why my truck was smoking DEF light on and losing power had it towed to them from other shop. They were able to figure it out quick and had it repaired in a day.
I'm a BOAT US member, had a flat tire on my boat trailer last night 5/8/16. I was told Ryan from DFS was coming to change it, we waited over an hour, and then the dispatchers from BOAT US tried calling DFS with no response. I was stranded on the side of interstate 65 southbound for almost 4 hours before Libby's Auto & Diesel came and helped me. I DO NOT recommend DFS!
