Gorgeous place with picnic tables, shallow water to wade in the Buffalo River. Short 5 minute loop hiking trail and next to the Old Trace. Great historical marker about the area.

Buffalo river and old Trace access. Really cool rock formations and alot of history about the site.

Another breathtaking stop on the Natchez Trace. The Buffalo River was way up and might be careful if it has rained alot. Looks like recently it had been under water.

Extremely peaceful. Wild life. It makes learning about our history fun! Lots of little stops along the way there. The water rippling sounds are amazing!! Love it!!

Beautiful scenery. Nature at it's best. Love the flowing creek, the scenic trails. The grounds are well kept. Always have a great time with family & friends here. People come & go, but there's plenty of room to spread out & each group keep their privacy. Great place to bring pets. *Do use bug repellent ??

Pretty neat. Trail can be a little vague at times, but the map at the entrance is defined. It's a cool 10 minute walk around. Scenery is pretty.

Pretty day for a hike. Trails aren't maintained very well but maybe that's because it's early spring and they will catch up to the weeds soon. Several trail areas were flooded so couldnt cross and continue. Picnic areas are clean and river is pretty and clean.

I really enjoyed this stop, and was thrilled I had it to myself on a beautiful day. The river was very peaceful, and the walk was extremely enjoyable. Make sure you stop at this spot if you are traveling the Trace.

Great place with 2 Grills and 3 or 4 picnic tables. Nice little dip in the Buffalo river.

Nice place to cool off. Don't go into the river barefoot though, clams and rocks are sharp in some places.

Nice easy walk along the river. It only takes about 5 minutes to walk the trail. The is a nice picnic area with tables and grills. Beautiful location.

Ahhh, cold, clear, pure and fast running Middle Tennessee creek! Excellent place to cool off in this Tennessee heat wave. Complete with clean area, mowed grass and concrete picnic tables!!!

One of the most peaceful and beautiful spots on the Buffalo River! A very popular spot for family and friends.

Great place to get in the river and cool off. The Buffalo river has carved a channel in the rock here. If you go down the river about half a mile there is a deep spot about 8 feet deep and a big rock (about 7' high) you can jump off. Had a great time with our boy scouts here.
