I called and asked about some parts they said give them a call back let them check call later that day they said they had them so I was going to pay over the phone and they said they don't payment over the phone that I would have to make the 2 hour drive up just to pay before they would pull the parts so I drove the 2 hours up and 2 hours home they said give them a week and they would have them out call a week later they said they were going g to get the truck on the track that afternoon so I call the next day and they told me that the truck didn't have the correct parts so I waited for about a week and a half to see if they were going to get one in because they said they get cars in everyday well after nothing I made the 2 hour drive up to collect my money that I paid them in cash but they refused to give me cash back said they could only give me a check so now im out the 8 hours of drive dive and about $80 in gas because these guys can't confirm the parts are correct even after you tell them you live 2 hours away
Crappy attitudes and smart ass employees that will tell you over the phone they have your part but after driving 2 hours one way then its not the correct one. Called them twice and asked about a very specific part number and they said they had it when we found out they didnt because what they had was a different number the guy says well its a transfer case so we have it bieng a smart ass.
I have been going to Lambert's domestic yard for about 35 years. There is no better junkyard in Knox for the area. Brian the owner is a good man like his son Matt who owns the foreign yard down the way. Some of the employees like Doug and Zach and Clayton as is Shelton. The prices are always fair and they will try to help you whenever possible
Lambert's had Dennis from Grosams E-Z tow assist me. He is a experienced and personable. Lovely experience, quick and easy.
They offered me $400 for my 2008 Scion XD over the phone. As promised I was handed a check I signed it over and it was, same day.

This place is like pull-a-part but with so many more selections. I didn't know that there was a junk yard out back of the building but once you find out that there is... You can find any & every part needed for a vehicle! Really reasonable prices too!
Told him exactly what I needed called back a second time to confirm and make sure he had it he said I definitely got exactly what you need I came here he entered the wrong information does not have the right part what a bunch of crap
Have bought from here numerous times...including 2 transmissions, a motor, a radiator, a windshield, a lock mechsnisim, a window regulator, inside door panel, a seat, tires, linkage, and a tow hitch! Shopped here my whole life. You need a part...go here. Good prices. Everything I've bought has been a good part!
For a junkyard, this is the best I've experienced by far. Pricing was very fair as well, and pretty well organized. Though, I will say you won't find many pre 90s and 80s vehicles here. Which does make sense since they have to carry what would most likely get parted out by the common folk. Besides that, this is a great junkyard!!
It's what you expect out of a junk yard, when it comes to customer service, . But other than that they have a wide variety of cars to pull parts off of and they have always been more than fair on the prices. If you are in need of a part and don't mind getting dirty yourself. Lamberts is a top notch choice. Thanks Lamberts, my dakota looks better with the rest of its bumper.

They are always welling to work with you on a price if your there all the time or if your a regular they don’t get a lot of 6.0 powerstrokes in there all that much but when they do they go fast so hopefully soon they get more powerstrokes there soon but 10/10 I love this place and the guys that work here are awesome and funny
I've always been a fan of these guys even though sometimes I'm misunderstood and it's causes great silliness by the end. Usually. They have always been super helpful and as a female I don't get help everywhere. A lot of people won't help females like they will others. Especially in junkyards. Sometimes even making jokes. Ivebhad Clayton go out of his way many times when he didn't have to to help me because I was very down and out. These guys can usually always be counted on to help or if they will figure it out with combinations of knowledge of everyone on site currently. Even consulting a book if necessary. I love this place and I loved bringing people here. I've since learned that some of the employees thought I was taking pictures of them(I did not tell them I'm one of googles top 15% reviewers out here in the world as I'm sure it would make anyone nervous) and unfortunatèly as I am and once again was misunderstood have been asked not to return even though I offered to show them the pictures I had taken and that none of them had personal people no one wanted to check. But HERES TO LAMBERTS - The best junkyard I've ever been to hands down. the photo with the little yellow sign has their phone number when you zoom in. And ask for Clayton- he will treat you right.
I have bought parts here for over 20 years and I love this place!!! They are good to you, extremely reasonable and great used parts and if you have an issue with a purchase they always make it right!!!!
My dad and I went here to get parts for his Chevy Avalanche. The staff is nice and the prices are great. We bought the entire front end of the truck including the hood fenders, fuse box, rad and trans cooler and it was $500! Paid a fella that works there $200 to pull out the parts bc we were on a time crunch. He was FAST. Better than pull-a-part.
Went here looking for a bumper, and Clayton was very helpful. He pointed me in the correct direction to locate a similar truck, Pricing was excellent. I had even called here and multiple other places and Clayton was the only guy that actually confirmed having a truck and the part I needed. Will definitely go back looking for other parts if needed in the future
I have not been to this location, but, someone that works there helped fix my flat tire. I was traveling home to Michigan from South Carolina on January 3rd when I got the flat tire. I did not get the name of the gentleman that helped me, but, he said he worked at Lambert. I just want to say a big "Thank you" to him. I hope he see this.
This was my 2nd time going to pick a part with my brother in law. If you have a lot of free time, this is like a playground for adults. They have what seems like over a thousand vehicles. I did find 3 of the 6 items I came for. But I didn't bring enough tools. Sometimes you meet others who will let you borrow a tool you need. I can't wait until my next trip . And it is such good exorcize. And they are very reasonably priced.
Went and picked up a rear carrier, but it turned out it was numbered incorrectly and was for the front instead. That being said I didn't need it, so I called them up when I noticed and spoke to Clayton. He was easy to talk to and remembered our transaction, then apologized for the mistake and gave me my money back no questions asked and hassle free.
On top of that when I first showed up at the shop to pick up my part, a few of the guys was standing around joking and was super welcoming when I walked in. I will definitely be doing more business here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good deal on some good parts.
Went there to search for a windshield for an old Ford econoline i worked on and Clayton was super helpful i n helping me get what I needed. I picked up a few fuses and a dipstick the first day and didn't have cash on me and Clayton told me to settle up with him tomorrow when I come for the windshield. Needless to say I came the next day, got my windshield, and settled up with him. The people at Lamberts are more than willing to help you out and are super reasonable with their prices. 10/10 would recommend
Went in to get a couple bolts for thermostat housing and the guys at the desk directed me exactly where to go. Prices and customer service can’t be beat at Lambert’s. This is by far the best salvage yard I’ve been to and will definitely continue to come back! If you’re thinking about going to pull a part in East Knox come here first for a much better experience.
Honest, reasonable/fair, reliable, super responsive and easy to work with. As a single mom who is no expert in anything mechanical, I had a great experience! Will definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommend!
Purchased a few items no problem for a great price. Although navigating through the yard is an obstacle, and honestly it's not organized as it should be.
Still, one of the best yards I've been too, and probably will remain to be my primary source for used parts.
Great people to deal with, installed a transmission and an engine purchased from them transmission worked great from first get go. Engine started right up first twist of the key. Great prices buying another engine from them in about 3 days. Jeremy is awesome.
