Found location closed at 1p Tuesday. Met owner stopping in and he said store will be closed Tuesdays until April. Submitted hours update to Google.
This is what you would call home away from home. Love the food and deserts. Always someone ready to talk from the time you pull in to sitting on the porch to hanging out by the grill area. This is what America businesses should be. Its a motorcyclist road that leads to home away from home. Its a much needed stop if your near by. Save me some cheese cake is all I ask ?
Cool place to stop if you can keep from getting run over by the crotch rockets! Went & had a hotdog for my late neighbor... One of his favorite places for many years!
We always stop here when doing the run on the Snake. This store is a bit on an institution to bikers and car enthusiasts needing to take a break.
The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is very laid back. They sell a lot of souvenirs for those running this stretch of road.
Great place enjoyed the workers stop. I've had in the last couple weeks on our vacation traveling. For a place to sit and take a break. We will also consider their Airbnb for a stay in the future we would have taken it for the night but it was rented out for the NASCAR race. Plenty of seating clean bathrooms ice cold drinks and a really cool interior made this place quite special.
Chris is a great guy with great stories. The hamburger was excellent. Nice and cool to sit inside at the tables or sit out on the porch in the rockers or swing.
Chris and the rest of the folks working there are great, everything on the menu is delicious and cooked to order, my personal favorite is the very thick sliced fried bologna sandwich and home cut fries... If you're lucky enough to get Chris's homemade doughnuts, they are incredible.. The friendly atmosphere is great, and that porch was made for sitting and when Eric is on the the grill inside or outside, you may get lucky enough to get some of his homemade BBQ sauce added to the fixins.. Oh and the cheesecake is amazing... These folks are doing it right.. Me and my crew hangout here often..
I just love this little store! We stop by here every time we come through Shady Valley. They have fair prices and a nest variety of items and snacks. The staff is always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and the store is always clean.

Nice clean place for snacks and t-shirts. A good pot to leave a little present behind. There was only one person eating so we didn’t join in, grabbed some snacks and ran.
My husband and I stopped her when driving 412/snake. They have lots of tshirts, sweatshirts, patches, pins, stickers for highway 421. There is also a cafe where you can order food. The short my husband wanted was not a aila le in his size. The lady at the register gave us one of their business cards and said to email about which T-shirt we wanted and they would mail one once in stock. The cashier was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our conversation. Parking lot is paved. There are bathrooms available. THEY ALSO HAVE GUEST WIFI.
Food and motorcycles on an awesome road. What's not to love? Fun in every direction. Great place to hang. Lots of swag. Good meals. Edit: 5 years and going!
This is a classic country store that is in the middle of The Snake motorcycle route. All kinds of memorabilia and a place to sit and eat, shoot pool. Cool place to stop and check out on your ride?
The staff here are beyond kind, and going here makes you feel like family. From regular drinks and snacks to hot cooked meals to be had, this place is the perfect pit stop while riding motorcycles on "The Snake!"
Clean and unique little country store that you should visit if passing through. There is a cozy restaurant inside also. So ride your bike or car or whatever you drive thru ? road on U.S 421 Tennessee 252 miles 3 mountains and 33 curves get to the four way and stop in take a rest
Super cool store/restaurant. Home made baked goods, ice cream, variety of shirts...If you get the chance stop in and check them out. You will love the laid back atmosphere
Excellent stop on our bicycle ride over cross mountain. Cheerwine and chips was much needed. Chris found some top notch shades for $4.99 after losing his. I would have definitely partook in burgers but we had 15 more miles to ride
At the halfway point of riding The Snake 421. Stop in on Saturdays for live music during the day, grab a cold drink and some stickers, tshirts or other memorabilia for your trip to The Snake. If you are having a little sweet tooth craving, grab a slice of the cheesecake for a sweet treat before heading down the 2nd half of The Snake.
Our mandatory stop to any drive through the Snake! The Porsche Club of America drives often on US421 and the new owners are always welcoming! Great place to relax and let the adrenaline go away for a moment! They have nice gifts, shirts, drinks and food as well!
The new owners have left things as it has always been. They added a stage outside and Area 52 rocked their grand opening. No beer sales and no cigarettes as of today, the reason for only 4 stars. Nice bikes stopping in. Plenty of 421 Snake t-shirts! You MUST have one if you ride the snake.
