I do not recommend B and M auto and wrecker service for anything. My car back in November was riding rough i kinda knew it needed an cam bolt and since I was buying new tires to put on the front it needed an alignment and it needed to be checked because it was shaking and pulling to the left pretty bad. I spoke to Justin, told him what was happening and that i needed it fixed. They called a few hours later saying it needs cam bolts, and a lower tier rod. So after paying like 800 bucks to have the tires mounted, aligned, and the issues fixed i picked it up it drove fine and was straight. A week later I'm driving down the road and POW my front tire slams into my front bumper almost pulling it off I pull over and looked, it was the ball joint. I had to get it towed to the house and the next day i called and spoke to Justin and asked him what was up that I thought they fixed it. He said the ball joint was good while they did the alignment. I called BS and told him they should've checked it cause I told them I didn't know what was going on but it wasn't driving right and with me not being a mechanic I had no idea at all what it could be but maybe a cam bolt. He told me if it was the ball joint that the car would've never been able to be aligned but I know first hand you can tweak the sensor and make it green to get it to pass. It's just the accountability of it, so they had to do was put their hands on it and eyes and they would've seen the wear and tear on the joint. That's what we did when we fixed it, both sides were visibly needing replaced and any professional mechanic would've noticed it. But needless to say I won't ever be back and they took no responsibility. So now I'm stuck with the tow bill, cost of ball joint replacement, front tires replaced, lower sway bars, and have to get another alignment. So beware they do not stand behind their work and have no clue on taking accountability of their mistakes.
I took my car in February 26 for a catalyce converter which their machine read and said was my problem ok, they fixed my timing belt oil change and some else for like 2000 1900 and some change. They say my car ready I get it it’s still doing the same thing ok I call them they say it’s my axle and wheel Hub I pay another 1200 I pick up my car its still doing the same thing I called back they came picked it up for me again and say it’s something they didn’t see at first so now I just gotta pay for part ok I pay another 250 and now I have my car and still the same problem this is not ok and they still ain’t fix the problem and it’s April 1 never goin bk there again and I trusted them with my cars only to be disappointed again this not the first time either them but for sure the most expensive and last time for sure
They do great work at a fair price. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One mechanic that I certainly recommend is Wayne. Super nice guy and does excellent work.
They came to my rescue about a month ago. My car broke down, they carried it to there business, told me the issue, they fixed it. I hated to be without my car, but I'm happy its back on the road. I will use them again, hopefully not to soon though, lol
I was beyond impressed with this place. I dropped my car off and it was fixed within 24 hours, even with a good amount of repairs needed. Justin was incredibly helpful and eased any concerns I had regarding the condition of the vehicle. Anyone in the Dyersburg area who needs their vehicle checked out or even a simple oil change, maintenance etc. should definitely check them out. They will be my new go to place.
Have taken my fleet vehicle here several times. They have always treated me like a priority, answered when I called, and they've never given me the run around.
After reading the reviews, I almost did not use their services, but I decided to go ahead and give them a try anyway. Unfortunately, it did not go well. After two tows, three different repairs, and approx $700, the original problem was still not fixed. Oddly, every time we took it back, something new went wrong. I can't say whether it was a coincidence or not, but I can that we will not be using their services again.
I took a SUV to have new front struts installed. They charged me for installing both and only installed one. I took a car later for a water pump and it leaked after I picked it up. I left a 4x4 to get a fixed and 4x4 working they returned it 5 months later and the 4x4 still doesn't work after they installed a new actuator that I didn't need. I took the car back and paid them another $500 to fix the water leak and they told me it was ready and I drove 30 miles to pick it up and then they told me the power steering was leaking after I drove all that way when they could have told me on the phone. I kept calm while dealing with them all these months but that was the straw that broke the camel's back and when I got upset because all of this they blamed me. I will never go back there ever.
Did pipes years ago and was great fit but kept my cats!! 500 atleast, asked for them to be put in bed of my truck they didn't they "forgot them" NOW a F250 alignment job done horribly I wouldn't use em again. Out of touch period. Some would say thieves.
I waited over 2 hours for my insurance company to find a service to jump my battery. They couldn't find anyone. I called B&M and they were there in less than 30 minutes. I'll be using them for their other services in the future.
Brought it in on monday for struts, shocks and alignment, was told it would get done, walked to work, returned after work and they hadn't started on it. That wasn't a problem, they told me I could bring it back the next morning so, I did. Work was done by 3:30 tuesday, but after driving it, it was obvious the alignment was still off and there was a metallic chatter coming from the driver side, when I hit bumps. I get home to check it out and find my inner tie rod chewed up, and my upper control arm beat in. So, I report all of this and bring it back in the next day. I was told it was fixed at the end of the workday and the reason for the damage was sometimes they have to get rough to get things fixed, but, in 20 years of wrenching I never heard of damaging a control arm to get a ball joint loose. My alignment is now pulling left but, at least i can't hear anything rattling anymore. Gonna take business elsewhere I gave them too many chances.
Further updated: I just finished fixing the steering rack because they messed up the tie rods so bad. Do not go to these folks, they are hacks and made excuses for their garbage mechanic. Never Again.
Needed an emergency fix on my van before going on vacation and B&M Auto Service was the only one in town was able to help me out and I recommend them to anyone to have their vehicle serviced or worked on!
The level of communication is atrocious. Took a car in to get the transmission looked at. They held it on site and said theyd call soon to let us know. It took them 4 days to get me the price of the part alone. In that time they tacked on a storage fee resulting it us having to just buy a new car. It was cheaper to go get another than to fix the transmission and cover all their fees. Was forced to sell the car to them for a good bit and only got $150 after the holding fee and for "looking" at it.
I originally rated it 2 stars to be decent, but. After finishing my review and feeling the memories.. 1 star.
If you go with these guys. Stay on them and do NOT trust.
Had leveling kit installed in 2019 GMC Sierra truck. Took a little while to install because it was the first of its kind they had seen. They did an excellent job though!!
They was first to arrive on scene. My f350 was totaled out. They picked the car up that hit me. They done a good job while on scene. I visited them later and they took the time to share information and one of their employees saw the accident and just didn't believe what he saw. I would have no problem using them if the need accured again although they didn't haul mine this time.
They got me in quick and didn't take long to get my car fixed. It was something minor thankfully but they were honest and didn't overcharge me or invent issues.
My truck sounded horrible so I went there to have a new muffler put on and they do excellent work and the staff was extremely friendly I wish I could give more than a five star rating because they deserve it
I brought my car online 2008 it still had warrant on it I drive 68 miles a day in it bout 3 years ago like always warrant runs out small stuff started happen to it~ squirrels made a nest in it ate my wires ~ then timing chain~now my radiator I have to say it been a good little car now everything replace I got a new car again Thanks B & M for good work so I can keep on the road~
Very satisfied with service had my car up there 3 different times for tires, mechanical, and oil change never disappointed me yet, towing service is good too there available 24/7 even through holidays
B&M was very helpful and understanding of my problem with my van. They were very reasonable, courteous, and the service they did on my van was done quickly. I'm very satisfied with B&M.
Fantastic Service. Started taking my vehicles to B&M in 2013 when I moved to the area and have always had excellent service. The wrecker service is courteous and reliable as well. I have used them for repairs ranging for $50 to $2700 and they have ALWAYS performed as agreed and stand behind their work.
Took my car there twice. Great service. Very friendly and they even gave me a ride home while they worked on my vehicle. I had never had that happen before. Great job B and M
They told my daughter what was wrong with her car and how much they would charge. When she picked it up ,it was twice as high. I called when I looked over the bill. .the over charged for everything, even the parts . I said something to the effect, you can't do that. .he responded ..that's how we've been doing it for years. .DON'T GO HERE
my girlfriend daughter's car was heating oil for some unexplained reason! so she was instructed to take it to B&M they charged her dad $200 just looking at it and adding oil and telling them see what it does! one or two days later it needed three or four quarts again and they instructed her that she needs to just put in another engine 3000 plus dollars later the AC system is now losing coolant not as cold anymore. they did not even ask the 200 to the bill.. in the midst of the oil engine issue my car was doing something weird it would just shut off and lose power will not go over 20 miles per hour later found out it was going into limp mode. so trying them out I told them everything it was doing I was insured the mechanic working on it is top notch has decades of experience he sees that the problem its just in my wiring harness to the engine and needs to be rewired $250 they are more than certain that will cheer my stalling issue and plus I need to replace one part on the EGR. regrettably I paid it I needed my car for a show and besides it needed to be fixed anyway so I'm driving not even 24 hours later it does it again only this time it will not even stay started so I had it towed back to them aggravated that I feel I wasted 250 bucks bottom line on that was a car was handed back to me saying that it was a EGR vacuum valve. I take it to my normal mechanic in my town hometown auto care it took him a day and a half to hunt down the problem which only costed me 60 bucks that I fixed myself I needed new pigtails for the ignition coil that was it simple fix! I am NOT saying is a bad place to go for your car repairs but watch your self. .. get a second opinion from a trusted shop
