What clients say about express towing in Nashville (TN)

My fiancé had too much to drink and wasn’t safe to drive home so we took my car and had to leave his for a while. I got him home and he was extremely sick so I had to stay with him until he felt better, I returned to get his car and they towed it and charged 330$ for it. I find it ridiculous how you charge someone for being safe and not driving. Y’all suck and should be ashamed of the way you are doing business.

If I could give zero stars I would! This company towed my truck last night, maybe 6 miles. They picked my truck up at 9:45 pm and I got to the lot around midnights to get it. They charged me $517 dollars to release it! I asked why it was so high and they told me it was because my truck is over 7000 pounds. Not sure how you can gouge people like this and stay in business, and two, live with yourself! Not to mention it’s “cash only” AND they charge a service fee to withdraw cash. They also have a limit on how much can withdraw at a time, so I had to make two withdrawals, so yet another service fee from their ATM. Highly DO NOT recommend

Towed my vehicle, along with a whole lot of others, from over at the stadium in an unmarked tow area. No signage & I took photos of where my car was parked. Paid $50 for an Uber to get to tow company & had to wait 20 min in a bad area of town to get a ride. Was told before going over there, by the towing company, that I could use the ATM there. When we arrive, ATM is out of order. I had $195 in cash, which we were told cash was the absolute only option, at 11:30 pm & the closest ATM was .25 miles away. I requested that my friend stay there, with the $195, while I drive to get the other $330, in cash. The guy working in there said he couldn’t authorize. I asked him to call the owner. The OWNER, Butch Tuckteller, said NO. So, this guy owns a business, that only accepts cash & sends/allows women to go walking down a dangerous street late at night to retrieve funds that I’m sure are not reported to the IRS. I own two businesses. If my equipment is not functioning properly, especially when safety is an issue, I do what I need to do to give the best customer service to my customers. I have a list of names & people who were in there at the same time, all of which charged $325 or $525. After reading reviews, it sounds like there are some partnerships going on for these businesses to make a lot of money, in cash, when events are happening. I will be pressing this issue further in the proper channels, so you cash only companies & unmarked spaces need to fix what’s broken, quickly.
