Poor communication + business all around. Poor communication on time of arrival. Was told I could have 10 mins to contact the person behind me to move there car. Not even a couple mins later and without contacting me, driver took off. Issue is w with not following through on their word.
Jason from Mike's Custom Towing came to rescue me after my car broke down in the middle of the road. AAA was going to be 2 hours out. Jason got there in ~30 mins. It was pouring rain & very cold. He worked diligently to get my car on the tow truck safely without rushing. He recommended taking my car to The Mechanic a few blocks away & helped me fill out the overnight drop off card. Both, Jason at Mike's Custom Towing & the guys at The Mechanic were fabulous with communication, professional, friendly, & solid work. Thank you!
They charged $600 for towing a vehicle from an accident that’s less than 10miles out for one day and charges $60 a day in storage - predatory towing practices. They say they can do whatever they want, although it’s true is not good business. Be careful with this business!
absolutely shitty my key fob was in the car they charged me for not having it bc they couldn’t roll the window up but the car battery was disconnected they also charge 55 a day for storage and in the state of tennessee they legally aren’t allowed to charge more than 40 they had an attitude and were rude to the pickup team for my car to the point the owner of the service had to go so that they didn’t cause problems with his tow man i didn’t have an option in where it went and if i did it wouldn’t have been brought there it was gonna be 800 to drive to where i was but other companies charged 300 so don’t go here if you don’t want to deal with rude staff and over charging
Absolute 5 star service. Ran over a parking block and got stuck on it around midnight, called Mikes and was informed they were working a 2 car burn and would be there as soon as possible. They were there within the hour. Very professional, very nice guys, and was the cheapest I could find anywhere close. Anyone who says these guys are anything but top notch is mad at their situation or extenuating circumstance. I don’t think I could have found better anywhere else.
Guys were great helping me deal with a totaled car. Let me get my belongings without incident and were courteous and professional. Great tow company if you need one
This guy pays Metro Police commission per car hauled, don't be fooled with their fees, there is a LEGAL fee chart on Metros Government website, this guy will try to get money from you if he can, we have initiated a lawsuit against this company, they work with metro police, if you guys have experienced issues with this company contact me for information regarding the lawsuit, for overcharges and illegal towing fees
I was in a dire situation, my car stopped on I-65 south at around 11pm on a snowy day, and my insurance had sent for this towing company. I called him several times but he kept on telling he's on his way. This was 6 years ago and Could believe Mike is still yet to arrive to tow my car? The unprofessionalism at this company speaks volume. There are better towing companies out there than this one please do not use this company.
Called Mikes Towing because my pick up truck slid off my driveway on ice. It was 1 degree out. Thought it would be impossible to get out because of how close I came to the house and AC unit. A guy from Mikes came out in about 10 mins and got me freed with no issues. The price was extremely fair considering everything was covered in ice.
Bad customer service. Only have one employee working on a rainy Saturday and they have to jump when Metro calls for a tow due to a wreck leaving other customers SOL .
Unfortunately, sometimes, you have to get towed.
I've had to have my car towed due to accident twice since I got to Nashville.
If you have to do something, you might as well do it right, and you might as well do it the easy way.
Both times I've had to deal with Mike's Custom Towing the staff made it as easy as possible for me to retrieve my belongings and assist me by helping me figure out what I needed to do with my vehicle. Hands down their friendliness and empathy made the worst experience just a little better.
Didnt pay any attention to where they were unloading my car and slammed it into another jamming my trunk and causing more damage. THEN rolled down my windows after i was gone with my belongings still in the car and moved it out of the fence across the street in a random aly. Things were stolen and more damaged was caused. Ridiculous.
I was very impressed with Brian who came to my aid during the great snow of 2021! He didn't rush his work as he got my car onto the truck in the dark in 30 degree weather and black ice in the parking lot. He was respectable and kind and was thorough in his work, double checking as he took my payment information and the destination of the tow. He didn't rush me or himself. My favorite part of the experience was that when he arrived at the destination for my car, he took a picture of its location and sent it to me to show that he completed the job. I LOVED THAT. Thank you, Brian. You are awesome!
They were very helpful at letting my worker removing all his tools and belongings from his box truck. Also was very helpful at letting us know where to find another work vehicle
My SUV was involved in wreck and was towed to this lot. Went to get my belongings out, was helped by an employee that only needed proof of ownership and DL to get to vehicle, was satisfied with his help.
My friend was involved in an auto accident last night and much like the other reviews, metro called them out as my friend’s car ended up in a small ditch as it was on the side of the interstate.. my friend was obviously upset due to the situation and the staff person was BEYOND RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Truck #82 had ZERO time to allow my friend to get out of the shock and make a decision bout what she wanted to do.. her car ended up leaving with the staff person and police told us to come within 2 hours to get it out which we did and said staff person again was BEYOND RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL and did not allow my friend to leave with her car as his excuse was they were closed but he was just pulling up with her car still on his truck.. luckily she did get her car this morning but do not allow metro to call them out as they have zero customer service skills
They are straight scam nosy got in the vehicle have no respect for customer privacy refused to take credit or debit or a check told us car was totaled and the car was picked up for parking violation be aware I will sure call the commission tomorrow to file a complaint
My car was involved in a accident, so I don't have a choice to pickup this company because the police officer offer call them for pickup my car, first the driver of the towing was so rude and nothing friendly or less professional, next day when go to their office the ladies who attended were so unprofessional and very not friendly, really a poor service very expensive and nothing professional
To be honest this place sucks bad. They are shady as u get. And lie to u. They cant be in business 2 much longer the way they treat people. Never go to them 4 any of ur towing or recovery needs.
Our car got towed to their yard roughly 5 miles away, went to pick it up 16 hours later and had to pay $198..kind high in my opinion. They lady's in the office were friendly, smoking inside which was aggravating since I'm a non smoker, but they were friendly. Guys outside were also nice. Older place but it was pretty clean. Our csr somehow ended up with a huge egg on the sidewall from hitting a curb. Not sure if they did it when loading or what, but im not too upset about it, its due for new tires anyway. Over all Id use them again.
One of their trucks did not have their equipment properly stowed on their truck bed and our windshield was shattered on the interstate in a situation that could have caused a severe accident. Then after we called to get their insurance information they were incredibly rude and hostile to me. All I wanted was their information and they refused to provide. Extremely unprofessional and immature.
Big shout out to Chuck at Mike's towing for getting to our family that was stranded on 65 south heading to Florida From Illinois! He took us to "The Mechanics" They were wonderful and showed the southern hospitality! We definitely recommend them to anyone of my friends or family! Thank you again For keeping my family safe and laughing with our craziness at such a stressful time!
I’m literally outside on a Saturday morning to get my belongings out of my totaled car and NO ONE is inside to even let me in! There are 2 vehicles outside as well. I’m assuming the owners of those cars work here.
I call their number and a lady picks up. I ask are they open. She responds, very condescendingly, did you knock?

Called to ask a few questions about my car that was towed to the lot, a woman answered the phone and was super rude and condescending about my questions... I was polite and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but the courtesy was not extended back. I would not advise anyone to use this service because of this.
Stop and look for another business. They provide terrible customer service. They left my house without towing me because "Metro" called them for a job. How can you leave in the middle of one job without completing it to leave for a higher priority job?!!! Just call someone else. anyone else.
overely price, rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and unpunctual. the guy who came to tow our car was VERY rude. involving in a car wreck didn't make us mad but his behaviour did.
