Horrible customer service! Ask the lady on the phone to repeat what she has said. She said I didn’t say anything, I coughed. I said ok I thought you said something and she immediately says “and what if I did” I said ma’am let’s end this right here. Not customer friendly at all. Trying to act she big country bumpkin bad ass by phone! Use another towing company- very unprofessional. I see why the rating is 2.8.

Disrespectful employees and drivers, You’re better off calling triple aaa

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a towing company. Jennifer Fuller’s comment down below mine is stupid. Clearly everyone’s situation is different and we all know as adults we have to pay to get our vehicles out. These people lost my keys to car and played stupid for weeks. Got hung up on by Carla who was supposed to be the manager . With clearly no managing skills at all since she couldn’t communicate properly like a real adult who is in a managing position. Strongly advise you use any other towing service except theirs and their other towing company “Baileys Towing”. It’s never about money but handling someone’s personal vehicle with professionalism and proper customer service.

Most reliable and quick. I’ve had many experiences with trying to get a tow truck and Martin’s have been the most responsive. The bad reviews seem to come from those who felt entitled to park without paying or in a reserved/restricted area and pissed they had to pay for their “inconvenience”.

called at 2am owner said they were dealing with a wreck and i waited because that is understandable, after 4 hours i only have "still at impound lot" there is absolutely no way u are still at an impound lot after 4 hours and if u are, still ridiculous u need to have someone else be on the job. the guy is nice but dont expect these people to come on time or even at all.

These are crooks, with an attitude ! Charge for full day with under 2 hours of towing it . I'm definitely suing them with my lyft recipe as proof when I came to pick up my car

I incidentally stopped at this business after hitting a pothole on the interstate and flattening my tire. The staff were super helpful and offered to put my spare tire on so I didn’t have to wait for AAA. Appreciate the kindness I received!

Triple A sent out a technician and ended up leaving because they couldn’t get me out of a snowy ditch. I spent 4 hours in the cold. A young man from this company was passing through and helped me. I wish I knew his name. Super helpful and patient. So thankful to have gotten home safely!

Everything was fine (can’t expect much from a towing company) besides how the truck driver hooked up my truck. My fuel pump blew on 24 headed home one night and Nashville PD dispatched these guys out to tow my truck to their yard. I went to their yard to check on my truck, and noticed this, and was planning on just paying their outrageous fee to tow it back to my house, but I couldn’t even trust the way they hooked up my truck, so I called my own guy to come pick it up for me. Their tow truck driver hooked up his chains to my crossmember. In this photo below, here is how you correctly connect chains to tow a truck, and if you look at my crossmember completely torn, you will see how NOT to hook it up. Not sure Martins cares about their reputation due to all their government contracts where they don’t need a positive view from the public, but if they are willing to give me $150 for a new crossmember, I will be more than glad to switch this to a 5 star review. Here is the picture, so y’all can see.

AVOID AT ALL COST! Hired them to tow my broken down car. They completely wrecked it. They smoked cigarettes inside it, got grease on the seat and charged me way more than they quoted.

Quite possibly the most evil business in Nashville. The workers get a sick kick out of charging you. They gloat and parade it around and if you so much as get an aggressive bite to your tone, they threaten to raise prices, hold your car, or evict you from the premises. I was towed today and was towed about two years ago and the same old, evil, smarmy handbag they have running the register still answers the phone, smugly relaying to you the hundreds of dollars they want to charge you, and tell you to hurry or they'll charge more (they did not give a rate or say how much, just empty vague threats of financial ruin). These people are terrible people. They are stains on the community.

Towed my car because it was a "stadium event day". "What is a stadium event day and how do I know what days they are?" I ask. "We dont know." They answer. "Are there signs to indicate what days i can and cannot park here?" "No" "So i just have to guess what days I'm allowed to park?" "Yes" Horrible service. Horrible to be forced to pay 300 dollars to people who are ransoming my own property without any explaination as to why today was special. Such a predatory businesses.

The service i received from the tow company was excellent. I unexpectedly got a flat tire and metro called martins to tow my vehicle and the driver was extremely nice . I will definitely use martins again if i needed a tow.

Rude, so rude!!! I was trying to speak with the woman who answered the phone and identified herself as the “manager” that we were still needing some assistance. She stated they no longer had my vehicle and there was no reason to speak to me and hung the phone up. Not a community builder business at all. They are hypocrites and lack the ability to uphold their core values. “We continue to honor family values, good business principals, hard-working ethic, and compassion for our customers upon which this company was based.”

This company knowingly charges more than the legally allowed amounts and doesn't honor the legal rights to drop fees that are established in Metro Codes. They are nothing short of criminal. First, I was wrongfully towed by their operator (who was also aggressive and threatened to use mace) despite showing up before the truck had departed, was refused the ability to pay the legally required drop fee to take my car off the truck, was charged more than the legal max for a tow, and when I tried to contact the management (the owner) on multiple occasions, including going into the office twice, nobody would contact me. For icing on the cake, while I was in the office, the operator, on his way out the door to his next job, with cruel elation in his voice, said, "Time to go get the next victim!" From owner to the operators to the office staff, the whole company is dishonest and untrustworthy. Stay as far away from Martin's as you can.

One of our drivers locked himself out of his truck. We are based in Louisville and had no quick way of rendering assistance. Emery was there maybe 10 minutes after our phone call with the best “can do” attitude I’ve seen in the service industry in years. Thank you Emery!

I called because I needed a vehicle towed, guy on the phone was super rude to me and quoted an outrageous price. Do yourself a favor and call someone else. Even if you have to wait hours on end, anything is better than dealing with these people.

My car broke down in one of the busiest intersections in Downtown Nashville. In one of the most stressful moments of my life, realizing I was stuck in Nashville all day. The tow truck driver who came to get my car just doing his job ended up being a blessing for me and my wife. Not only did he do his job and do it right I would have not been able to stay calm and get through the situation without his help and advice. He has kids the same age as me and completely made my situation feel not so bad anymore. I’ve never been stuck so far from home without my parents. He didn’t have to do anything he did for me, hooked me up with a killer mechanic, and made my situation feel like something I could laugh about one day. It was an unexpectedly expensive and stressful trip and one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, but without him I wouldn’t have been able to get through it. God bless you all at martins.

The biggest scammers I have ever met in my life. Not only did they damage my vehicle but they tried to overcharge me by double for the tow. I had to call police and pull-up the metro max towing rates set by city council on the website to prove them wrong. Police advised them they are trying to overcharge and suddenly they admitted they were wrong. There is a reason they have 50+ one star reviews. I can only imagine how many people they overcharge daily and get away with it. They should be removed as a towing provider for metro. I will be filing charges with my credit card company and reporting them to the metro council. The scrawny old guy in the office also ran his mouth then hid behind police officers

If you need a towing service, I do not recommend this place. Costumer service is awful. I went in to get my car after I had a tow and the two ladies up front around 1:15am on April 22, 2023 had the worse costumer service training I’ve ever seen in my life. There was no welcoming the costumer when we got inside, they honestly looked so mad -‘d miserable at everyone who came in. But what upset me was the smart remarks they made when we were having a totally private conversation between the COSTUMERS once we pointed out that we were wrongfully towed. The lady had the gal to say “well if you think you can do a better job metro is hiring.” First of all I do not need advice from a lady working at a tow truck company at 1am in the morning. And Obviously I would do a better job if I was working not only at metro, but at this place as well. I would not be disrespecting a patron like that let along chiming in to private conversations, and obviously metro didn’t do a good job if Around 20 people got towed at the same time. The front desk employees need to learn some deescalation techniques so i would recommend the owners to at least train their front desk employees on that. Because if I need to ever get some towing services, I know this place is not on my list to call. It’s bad for services to disrespect patrons like that. It honestly just sounded like two miserable ladies spreading their misery around and that’s not good for long term business if the place plans to stay around for long term. And honestly if I was a woman working around 2am in the morning I’d be miserable too, That’s a tell tell sign that nobody loves you. It’s expected from a man, but a woman….. anyways thanks for reading this and I really hope the owner takes the recommendation to train their front desk employees in better costumer services, because the people working by the cars were doing such a great job THEY should’ve been the ones taking care of the patrons. They need a raise and we’re doing such a great job. I wish them the best and hope they learn to accept and love themselves. Hope the manager trains their employees better. Or teaches them how to be decent human beings. The comments and treatment we got was totally unacceptable. And I’d be in contact with metro as well to let them consider other places based on how bad this place treats their patrons.

So I parked in a deceiving spot and metro called them and had me towed. I understand that it was not their fault but when I called searching for my car they verified they had a make and model that matched mine, and gave me the address, in the middle of me asking when I could pick it up they hung up on me. I didn’t even get to verify my license plate number. I show up to a man thats smoking glaring at me outside, without a word he ushers me into the creepy office, (As i'm a young college age girl) and is open carrying and being extremely rude. Tells me i'm over the 2 hr limit and that I owe 285$. An absurd amount after my car got towed like a mile. Anyways, he spoke to me as if I was telling at him although I treated him respectfully, I just had a few questions. He chose to do this job where everyone hates him so the workers should learn to be more pleasant. I was extremely uncomfortable the entire time and I wish Metro cared where they towed our cars to. Also as I was getting my car the guy was unloading a sedan and wrecking its bumper, so clearly they don't care about harming your vehicle.

Lack of Professionalism- Was cut off twice while inquiring about my vehicle the second time was with a older rude female at the counter so understandably I was upset then a heavy set lady in pink rushed inside to defend her by going completely psycho threatening not to give me my vehicle unless I speak “fucking right” my opinion is that she needs a mental evaluation and to both females should learn customer service. I don’t work for metro or a wrecker service so I don’t know the ends and outs they do so a little kindness would go a long way. Fyi all the men working there seemed pleasant just not the two females. I do not recommend Martins Wrecker services at all especially after being screamed at and expected to pay $250 plus a $50 ticket from metro.

Went there to pay to get my employees vehicle out after they towed it for apparently being a inch over a no Parking area right outside my business. I was cussed out by a tow truck driver for honking the horn at him, when he almost backed in to me in the parking lot. I Told the owner he said that “sucks” as if it’s a daily occurrence. I have no problem with paying to get the vehicle out but a little respect would be nice or maybe a sorry for the inappropriate behavior. I wouldn’t recommend this business if you need a legitimate tow call someone else.

My car was towed around 4pm on Wednesday. I noticed it had been towed at 2am and called Martins (as well as Metro tow) to confirm that they had my car. The driver on duty told me they didn't have it. After calling several other tow companies, I had to report my vehicle stolen. Imagine the look on my face, Thursday evening when the police officer told me my car was towed to Martins, who already told me they didn't have my car. They charged me an additional $80 for two days of holding even though I went through the embarrassment of having to report my vehicle falsely stolen after Martins told me they didn't have my car. Management accepts no responsibility for the mistakes of their employees and that's the sure sign of a bad business. Two stars instead of one because the man at the counter was at least polite.

The tow truck operator was experienced and professional. Was also very helpful in helping me to find a mechanic who fixed my car right. Their prices are reasonable keeping in mind the high cost of equipment and the fact that they had modern equipment at that. I would recommend this company to any person who is in distress because of automotive breakdown or an accident. I've actually had to use them twice and in both instances they provided excellent professional service. Thank you Martin's Wrecker Service.

This company is the absolute worse. I was involved in a wreck after 9:30 PM on Thursday night. I called Martin's towing company at 12:00 am ,after leaving the hospital. The person on the phone gave me a price of $218.70. I called back at 6:00 pm on Friday, the same person answered the phone. He told me same price of $218.70 and he also stated that if I got there before 10:00 pm the price would be the same. When I got there at 8:00 pm it was a different person on duty this new person charged me $297.00. This guy charged me for another storage fee and was very rude when I tried to explain his mistake. My wreck happened between 9:30 pm - 10:00 pm on a Thursday I picked my car up at 8: 00 pm on Friday. I was ripped off $80.00.

I had such a wonderful experience with this company! I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough! My car completely died on me and regardless of my boyfriend coming to jump it, it still wouldn’t work. I called around and all other places said it would be crazy expensive and over 2 hours wait. I finally called Martins and the dispatcher was very nice and helpful (I’ve never had to call a tow truck before). They gave me a great price and had someone there within 20 minutes! My tow truck driver was William and he was WONDERFUL! He actually tried looking at my car to see if he could get it to work. He was very knowledgeable and gave my boyfriend and I some tips on where to look for a new starter. The entire experience was great (for the situation). Long story short very professional, very reasonably priced, and very friendly. If I could give more than five stars ⭐ I would!

Ran out of charge on my electric car at 1AM Sunday morning. 30 minutes after the call the operator was there. Great service, very kind and polite, and handled the car gently and professionally. Would definitely recommend!

I understand that it was my fault for parking on a street that was blocked for the marathon but when I got there they tried to charge me a $40 storage fee for keeping my car over 2 hours when it had only been 90 minutes as marked on their own paperwork. When I tried to point out the math, one of them tried to tell me I was wrong because it was marked in military time which doesn’t make a difference at 0300 hours. They never admitted that they were wrong or lying but reluctantly gave me a refund. They were pulling the same thing on the guy next to me.

I paid off the tower from a very confusing parking area (the signs for "no parking" are quite confusing) in which the tower would not even let me speak to him, cutting me off with "give me $55 now, or I tow it and you have to pay a lot more." After he takes the money, someone from the apartment complex in the area started shouting something to the effect of "you're always over here taking advantage of people because the parking is confusing, go away." ... Or something along those lines. The tow truck driver proceeds to pull his truck to the front of the apartments, get out of his truck, and start cussing / yelling at the people in the apartments. He then threatens to fight and continued taunt them. I get in my vehicle, type in the company phone number given on the side of the tow truck, and then drive away. I call the towers super visor and attempt to report the incident, as I felt offended and uncomfortable with the situation. From the second I tell the supervisor (in a very calm manner) that I have a complaint, he proceeds to yell at me for the rest of the phone call. I tired to explain the altercation but continuously get cut off with the supervisor yelling "he has to deal with druggies and drunks all the time in that area, and you have no room to voice a complaint." He then tells me that he is going to call the tower, and then call me back. As I did not confirm this, I hung up the phone out of frustration. He calls me back, describes my car to me, and asks me if it was mine. I said "yes, but it doesn't matter, as my car does not relate to the situation I am calling about. I am simply trying to call you about the altercation between your tower and the people in the apartments." He then proceeds to tell me, "well its none of your business. In fact, I'm going to call my tower back and tell him to go back to that area and tow your car no matter where it is at." As I try to reply to this comment, the supervisor hangs up on me. This is a very simplified version of what happened with this incident. I have never felt as if I needed to leave a Google review before, but this definitely made me feel like I needed to.
