RIP OFF, call anyone else. We were told $250 an hour to tow a f350 box truck, we were not told that they start charging this as soon as they start route to your vehicle. Was charged $1375.00 to tow the truck 85 miles but only if we paid cash. They will not accept credit cards or checks. The only other options are Venmo, Cash App or Zelle. If you pay this way, they then they wanted $1512.00 . They also charge a fuel surcharge on top of all this. They will not give you a total price or how you’re not able to pay a convenient way until right before they are gonna drop your truck off! This is not Jonny’s, it’s priority who has a really bad rap. Will never call again.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - our semi tractor front wheel was stuck and called this company out to help. They agreed $375 to do the job on phone, and I double-confirmed that's the price for the complete job for up to an hour. And they agreed without any mention of a 3-hr minimum. The actual job took 20 minutes or so, but they called me and said I have to pay $1475 else the will impound the truck. I was forced to pay that ridiculous amount to get released. They will also not produce any invoice and demand zelle payment.
Also, the company real name is PRIORITY WRECKER (google and see their reviews & news articles before calling them)... wish I had seen the other reviews before calling them!!!
Quote was 125 five dollars a mile and I had it towed 1.4 miles after it was hooked up. The final price was 265.00 we went back-and-forth I wanted it dropped a couple times after the fourth or fifth time the price got lowered to 175 to tow or 150 just to drop it. Whole things a robbery. Find a buddy or rent a uhual trailer
I don’t normally leave reviews, but I was really impressed with Jonny’s Towing & Recovery in Nashville. My Freightliner semi wouldn’t start early in the morning and I was stuck blocking part of a lot. Dispatcher Ernie took my call, explained clearly what the process would be, and followed up with me a couple of times while the driver was on the way. The wrecker showed up faster than I expected, and the crew handled the tow with absolute professionalism. Ernie even called back later in the day just to check if everything had worked out at the repair shop. That kind of follow up is rare. I’ll definitely be using Jonny’s again if I ever need help in the area.
Had a breakdown with my Ford pickup truck on I-24 and Jonny’s Towing & Recovery was there in no time. Dispatcher Ernie was professional and polite on the phone, kept me calm, and made sure the driver got to me quickly. Everything went smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend their service.
I called Jonnys and told them I was calling to get pricing for a tow. I gave them specific addresses and based on the information they gave me, I booked them. Tow plus mileage between addresses was $150. When they got here my bill was $280.00. In addition to the tow plus mileage, they charged mileage to get to the pick up location, a fuel surcharge and a photo storage fee, none of which was disclosed when I called them SPECIFICALLY FOR PRICING. They also didn't disclose that there was a service fee added to payments made via Venmo - they don't take credit cards. Do not use this business unless you know exactly what you will be charged. The driver was nice and was the only redeeming factor regarding this transaction.

They will do nothing but lie and charge you ridiculous amounts of money and hold your truck hostage until you pay it. My company is going to file a lawsuit against this company. They are not Johnny's towing they are priority towing they have been shut down many times and they constantly change their name to stay in business. They charged us $3,700 to tow my truck 9.3 mi. And they held it hostage at their yard until we paid it.
Absolute joke! My shop called them on 2/15 at 12:15 local time to have them come out and remove the front axle tires and chain up the axle so I could tow it back to KS. (Dropped trailer, not my doing). They gave an eta of 1hr. 90 min goes by and I call them and they say 60-90min, tech just finished a job and is headed my way.. 2 1/2 hrs later, still no one. Call them back and get told 1 1/2-2hrs, driver just left headed my way. 3 1/2hrs later, still no one. Won't answer calls or texts anymore. It's now 2/16 @ 09:40 and nothing. Called another place off Google and he's gonna be here in 3hrs. Don't do business with this place if your a truck driver. Absolute joke!
BAD BUSINESS :This company told me a 2 miles tow would cost me 369.00 for a 16 foot box truck and would not drop my truck when they got to the drop-off location until I paid 1363.00. DON'T EVEN DESERVE A STARR!
WARNING WARNING! These people will take your money and do nothing! They came to my property to move a semi trailer and said they couldn't do it. Charged me $750.00 then said they would come back the following day. We'll that was a lie! Then told me they would come back Monday then Tuesday then Wednesday then Thursday. On Thursday THAT WAS A LIE!! ALL WHILE TALKING TO ME PATRONIZING ME AND BELITTLING ME !!After taking 5 work days off they told me there truck was in the shop. They would get a hold of me. Well that hasn't happened! Another lie !! I used another wrecker service and they moved it 30 miles and only charged $850.00. These people will rip you off!!
I called and asked if I can get a key replacement for My Regal. He said it's gonna cost 350. Which already the price is absurd. Then I said I can do that and her hung up on me.
I was just taken advantage of. pd $1695.00 for a 3in. hose and 8 G antifreeze. One dishonest penny will cost you 99. I am in the same business, truck repair, and have never been taken advantage of so bad. Will warn all my costmers to stay away from this business.
I don’t recommend it for any reason, I requested their services, and they lied to me about the price. They charged me $2,700.00 to remove my truck that got stuck in the snow. It took them 20 minutes. Plus they flattened my tire. In the end, I couldn't take my car home. They stole my money, so I see it that way for what they charged me.
Brittney was such an amazing person! Her customer service skills are top notch. She was so kind during our interaction. She made me feel like it was all going to be okay. I will definitely use their services again bc of her!!
This has to be the shadiest company on the planet…they performed a battery jump on my car a charged me $235 of which I was quoted as $130 then they wrote their own review under my name giving themselves excellent ratings. I would Never used this company again. I was told to give the driver 30 minutes to reach me however, it took him one hour and a half, he also charged me for miles driven from his place of business to my location. I was at a total disadvantage because they get all your credit card information from you before arriving. But, in spite of it all, it was the writing the excellence report under my name that turned me off…Rip-off company, shady practices, NEVER AGAIN…
My daughter called this place from the side of the highway because she was stuck in a dangerous spot and they were nearby and advertised tows “starting at $65”. Said they’d be there in 20 minutes but it took 2 hours to arrive and then they charged $282 to tow her 8 miles. We called for an explanation and a dispatcher said that the $65 base was only for jobs “within a mile” which would explain some of the cost (they charged $5 /mile “loaded mileage fee”), but how did the base go from $65 to $195? Also, what’s with a $38 “fuel surcharge” when they provided no fuel and were already charging for miles? Dispatcher couldn’t answer and said to call at 10 am when the owner would arrive, but then the owner refused to speak with us. Really lousy business that advertises deceptively, takes advantage of people in vulnerable situations, and then refuses to take credit cards so there’s no recourse for overcharges. I’m not sure how these people sleep at night.

This company gets a ONE STAR review from me. We tried to use this business. We called at 620pm and they said they were finishing up a call and would be right with us. At 800pm we called and asked for an ETA and they said 20-30min. It is now 9pm and they are now forwarding our calls to voicemail with no update. I'd avoid using this company unless you want bad service.
Needed a quick tow. A bit pricey but, in a pinch will be there pretty quick. Kevin was professional and an honest man. If you need a quick tow and not worried about price, give ‘em a call!
Worst tow truck company I've ever had to deal with. Outrageous prices, horrible customer service, and they pretty much robbed me. Average price to tow a van the distance I needed it towed is around $300. They didn't give me a price before sending a truck. Truck gets there and I ask for a price he said he would have to load up the vehicle to see. Loads it up and tells me it costs $694 to tow it 34 miles. I told them I can't afford that, which is why I asked for the price in the first place. Then they make me pay $240 just to set it back on the ground and told me that if I couldn't pay that they just take my vehicle to impound and charge me $140 a day to store it. Rude as they could be with me on the phone and did absolutely nothing to help me out. Just made my entire life worse and more stressful. Plus wasted 4 hours of my time after work just to pay them to not do their job at a reasonable rate.
The driver Kevin was very nice quick and took care of my car it was way more than I expected for a 3 mile trip but if you have the money I would recommend
Jonny and his team (Kevin) took excellent care of my antique car as it was hauled from Union City to Franklin, TN. Their communication and care was top notch. I would highly recommend their services.
I was broke down and reached out early on a Monday during rush hour, the dispatch took my call with urgency and got Kevin out to me. Kevin was amazing, quick, courteous and very personable. His truck was immaculate and smelled amazing very unheard of for a tow service. I highly recommend the company and I would reqeust Kevin every time! The drivers were great. Knowledgeable and super friendly. But, upon arrival, they told me $5/mile for a 20 mile tow, $100. And somehow from $100, I ended up paying $340. They didnt tell me what I was being charged for, my quote changed 3 times along the way from $320 to $335 and the final quote was $340. Again, drivers were great, knowledgeable, super friendly, I just think from now on, they should start telling customers what they are paying for before business is conducted.
Yes, they had really good and quick service, got business done pretty efficiently. but they aren't as cheap as they say they are. They're cheap if everything goes smooth, but there's extra stuff they charge you for, like a locked door was an extra $120 (which I vividly remember leaving it unlocked). I would recommend, IF you have the money. don't consider this a cheap service. I had to pay $372.80 for a 0.7 mile tow. Not good.
I never really do reviews but I thought I’d do one for these guys. Over the phone I was told the hour rate would be $195. After truck was picked up and about to be dropped off they told me it would be $550 per hour and total of $2070 for 3 hours. No one tried to help and best solution I got was they would take it to their shop until I came up with the money. Do not use their services.
