very poor customer service! had my vehicle impounded here and when I received it there was some damages to the inside of the vehicle. the lady brought in mike to speak with us about it and he was very rude, had so much attitude, and was not helpful at all.

Extremely rude and unprofessional company. My friends car was towed and impounded here, now the entire entertainment screen is shattered. Tried to speak with management but it is truly a joke there. Mike would not give anything that said all they do is "put it in neutral and park it." Extremely shady. The lady at the desk I'm guessing his wife is extremely rude. Asked what we were there for replied with "picking up an impounded vehicle" to which she replied hatefully "well could you give me a description". Ma'am you could ask. If you dont want to be working that bad that you are rude to customers just dont even come in at that point. Now having to sit at the police station and file a police report over damages. Highly do NOT recommend them and are disappointed this is the company that ended up having it towed.
Service was great. They came in a timely manner. The worker was very attentive to our trailer that had flipped over with our motorcycle in it. This happened on a Saturday and although they were closed on Sunday, the owner came to let us pick up our motorcycle and trailer. Excellent service and very helpful getting us back on the road.
Any day you need to call a tow company is usually not a great day. However, our experience with M&W towing turned a bad day into a simple inconvenience. Mike is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, transparent in his pricing, and incredibly kind. Do not hesitate to use this company if you find yourself stuck or broken down.
My mom had her truck towed here after an accident. She needed photos for the insurance. She was unable to take photos because they were on a 2 hour lunch break. We drove cross town, and at no point when we called earlier did they mention that they wouldnt be able to allow her in during a certain time. It would take 5 minutes or less for them to unlock the gate and let her take the photos. Yet, we have to sit and wait for them whenever theyre ready. Completely inconsiderate and the worst customer service I've ever encountered, as he was never friendly about the ordeal. If you have a choice, do not have them do the tow. They make it nearly impossible to get into the car afterwards to retrieve belongings, even if you have proof that it's registered to the correct person. Would give zero stars if possible.
Thanks Mike and Crew for coming out and helping with a car wedged in a ravine! You guys were quick to show up and were as careful as possible while getting the car unstuck! Highly recommend if you are looking for a towing company! They have come to our rescue a few times!
Wanted to give a shout out to the excellent service I was able to get with M & W Towing with Wayne. He was able to help my friend with his van get out of the snow in our local park in Hot Springs. It was dark, cold, wet and muddy. He was able to come in earlier than expected and easily get the van towed to the local car mechanics safely. Thank you for your excellent and timely service. Will recommend you guys in the future to others! Thank you Debbie for your help over the phone!
If I could deliver a zero star I would. I haven’t been disrespected this deliberately and criminally in a long long time. It’s pretty short sighted to create enemies where you could be making friends. In a small town we need to remember our manners.
Was stuck at the Rapid City airport. Called M&W and in no time, had my car up and running (needed a boost). The driver kept in contact with me the entire time while I waited. Professional conduct and, the driver happened to have spent time in my home town. Give them a call if you need a tow or a boost.
We were so pleased with M & W - we had a rented Motorhome that broke down. The dispatcher Mike was fabulous to work with getting us help through our roadside assistance company. Cole was very friendly although he wasn’t the tow for us, he offered some friendly support! Lastly, Andrew (with his Peterbilt) got the job done and got us into our campsite so the mechanic could work on it. It was a beast to even make capable to tow! Through the entire ordeal, they were sympathetic, careful with the owner’s RV, and communicative. Thanks again!
I parked on a dirt lot and after a heavy night's rain the dirt had turned to mud and I was stuck. I called M&W and they had a man there within one hour. Dale was friendly and professional and got me out quickly. The price was extremely fair and was less than quoted(when does that happen). I highly recommended these guys.
Very nice folks that I how to never need to call for service on my personal vehicle, lol... My friends truck got towed by the police 🚓 and they took good care of him and his truck. 😅👍🏼 Great service and willing to help any way that could.
You don't communicate with each other. We released our car to be picked up but when the people came to get it, they were denied. Your employees said that it wasn't released. Our car sat there for another week because the insurance company didn't want to waste their time again. You are also okay with us stating over the phone a certain person is allowed to take the car but we can't do that for someone to clean out the car? That makes no sense. Wasted our time even more!
This person doesn’t know how to talk with anyone I called him three times because my truck got stuck on road for two days he is totally annoyed instead of understanding me he was yelling on me. I know they are busy because of bad weather, but they should know how to speak. He can give me clear direction bro I am busy but I can schedule you for next day or tomorrow. Find some one else. Don’t waste your time. I am from Canada this was first experience with this kind of things. I didn’t know any single thing about this city. No one properly helped me
Great response time and friendly. I'd like to thank the two guys that rescued my truck & trailer from side of road and tow to repair shop. Ol Blue did a fantastic job. I recommend this place
We are grateful beyond words for M & W Transportation. Mike and his family showed us hospitality in a very stressful situation. We are 700 miles away from home and our full moving truck broke down after a series of unfortunate events. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He had his own family help drive us to a hotel for the night. They even waited to make sure we were able to check in to the hotel before leaving for the night. What could have been a horrible situation changed our perspective and gave a light to our darkness.
Mike and his family were absolutely incredible. We have had the most insane trip, it’s been a little bit miserable honestly. Mike and his family made us feel welcome and a whole lot better about our situation. Our box truck broke down and we were in a Walmart parking lot for hours on end, he came and diagnosed the vehicle then had to head out explaining that Budget Truck Rental would set up a tow for us, and suddenly he was back, just like that. He made sure to bring his wife and daughter to put us in something we would all fit in while he towed the rental in his tow truck and made sure we were able to get into the hotel tonight before he left us. Thank you Mike, you made the world of a difference for us!!
Kelly and his side kick were great. Careful, fast and thorough. They removed any pieces that could be an issue and reassembled it all. My only complaint was the cost which isn’t really their fault. Thank you for finding us in the middle of no where
Called this company on behalf of cousin who had broke down on his motorcycle out in the Badlands. They were fantastic. Nate came out with his truck which was set up to haul a bike. He was very careful and treated the bike like a fine jewel then proceeded to haul the bike and passenger 110 miles back to the Buffalo Chip garage. He was very professional, respectful, polite and courteous. On a 90 plus degree day standing out in the open sun he didn’t waste any time getting to us. We hope we are never in this position again when we are here, but we will certainly be sure to call on them again.
Great service & timely. They came out & accessed our need, the tow truck was there 36 minutes later. They jumped out, hooked the wench to the tractor & pull us up & out & everyone was on their separate ways less than 15 minutes later. Definitely would recommend & call on them again!
Highly professional and helpful service! We were stuck in our RV on the side of I90 with a blown tire. I called Mike three times before deciding to have the RV towed - he was super nice each time and even tried to help me with other options which didn't involve using his service. Great experience during a very difficult time.
I have a vintage Airstream 290 with a Chevy 454 P30 that lost power in the Badlands in the middle of camping-season. We were towed in the middle of the night to an RV Center. The driver was fantastic, courteous, safety conscious and highly knowledgeable. I cannot recommend M&W Towing enough.
After the transmission went out in my truck just outside of Rapid City, we called these guys and they came within 30 minutes and recommended a great shop to take the truck, and then brought me and my family to the airport, at no charge, to get a rental for the rest of our trip. Our driver was friendly and so helpful. In what could have been an awful experience, we received the best customer service from the guys at M&W.
