. Expensive entry fee considering it was a muddy mess and events were canceled.

A bit rusty, but it's cool and the kids love the trains. Couldn't stay for the air show deal at Planes Trains and Automobiles

Our church holds youth camps here almost every year, and the kids love it! Prairie Village is always friendly and very helpful.

This is a great place to be! Lots of RV spaces yet still quiet and is well maintained, multiple bath houses, very friendly staff and lots and lots to explore! I would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful place to visit and camp. Great to see living history. The big Jamboree is fun with seeing live exhibits going on, flea market, food truckers, tractor and car parades. Just walking through the old buildings seeing how people lived back then is wonderful. We have done multiple visits over the years. Price varies for special weekends and events so you my want to check their website first.

This was a wonderful, old time feel. Loved the atmosphere. People were wonderful. All of the antique's each in there own building. My family and I had a wonderful time.

An incredible look into our history! Parents should take their kids to spend the day here and learn about life before cell phones and the internet.

Great place to visit! Just wish the people on the golf carts would be more aware of people walking with kids. Also, wish they had more garbage cans around and would empty them more often.

I thought it was awesome. The train ride is awesome. All the buildings were so cool because they look like what they would have looked like. I would recommend to anybody.

Its a very nice place to camp other then we had our dog a lead or lead at all time but we had to kept telling the neigbors dogs to go home cause they kept wondering over to our spot. If people can't keep their dogs in their area or on a leash then why should anyone else. All in all I feel its a very nice place to camp. Will consider it again.

Enjoyed our visit very much. Being abke to step back in time and see real articles that were used in day to day life is simply amazing. Gives us a great appreciation for the modern conveniences and also the hard work individuals did back in the day. Lits of real prairie history to see here.

Fun, laid-back, family friendly experience to walk through a small recreated turn-of-century village of typical businesses of that era. As just one example, the funeral parlour was interesting that included authentic child-sized caskets, ledgers, church pews, etc. During our visit (~end of Aug), the village served as the location for an extensive "flea market" that included rows & rows of vendors selling everything from farm implements/machinery to new artistry of all sizes & prices. Of course, there were many different fresh food items so no one need worry about finding favorite foods or drinks. There is a small entrance fee of less than $5, well worth a day's visit if you're in the area.

We spent 4 days here and had a wonderful time. Everyone was friendly, the food was great and I really enjoyed being an exhibitor this year. We will be back next year!! Don't miss the outlaw truck and tractor pull!

Need Bigger camping sites. I was told each site would fit 2 tents or a camper and 1 tent. Not so much. But an absolutely amazing place. Friendly people!!

Great local camping area. Shower facilities are top notch. Golf carts and side by sides are allowed but no 4-wheel atvs.

I stopped here to camp on my way North after traveling all day. It was not yet open although there were signs saying it was open. I, did, however stay a year ago and had a nice time exploring the village and the town. The camping was reasonable, grassy and shady. At the time there were no other activities going on. I will try again another time.

This is one awesome place. full of history and when you are there it feels like you are part of the history. During certain times of the year they have a steam engine that circles the entire park. They also have a steam driven carousel.

My family and I have been camping here for the past 8+ years several times a year. Up until this past 4th of July has been great. It all started when our children we're falsely accused of flooding the old shower house. After that we had gas powered golf carts following up for the next three days even driving around our campsite until 3 am. We felt very unwelcome this ti.email and will not be returning in the future. It was a very unpleasant experience to say the least. I would otherwise recommend family camping here to anyone. Even as you drive in there are several signs warning about how they do not like children. If I could have given them no stars I would have.

This village is not quite as polished as some others I have seen, but they rely on a lot of volunteers and money for such things is always in short supply. I only paid $5 and spent a good hour and a half there. Definitely some interesting things to see. Sometimes I was blocked off a bit too much from entering exhibits. Lots of dust and spider webs everywhere but that can add to the rustic feel. They also have lots of room for RVing there. I didn't visit with my RV, but would probably enjoy camping on site.
