There are so very few proficient & honest automotive repair shops, & this is one of them. If you have the time, Steve & his son's are well worth the wait (yes, they are that busy with repeat customers). You'll get an honest & budget friendly repair.
Had a brake seize up 4 hours from home just 2 miles outside of tabor at 3pm on a Thursday. I called and within an hour he came to pick up my truck. He ran to Yankton to get parts and stayed over an hour past close to get me fixed. This was on a Thursday and all other mechanic shops were going to be closed on Friday for local festival. If it wasnt for him I would most likely have had to stay down there until Monday. This shop saved me big time!!!
DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE! They scammed my grandma didn’t fix her car for 3 years, and then they told her she needed to sign the title, or else they wouldn’t fix it… and she then she signed it, and she didn’t know any better. Then they took her car…
We had gotten a nail in a tire just outside of Tabor. After randomly driving into Tabor and finding a safe place to change a tire, Steve happened to walk out and see our troubles. He told us to drive over to uis shop and he would fix the tire. He fixed it in just a few minutes and we were on our way. Super friendly, helpful, and reasonable!
Always has something goin on with work. (Understandle able) So it takes him a VERY long time 2 take some time 2 come 2 ur house 2 look at/pick up ur vehicle.
Sold me a $750 engine and head gasket leaked within the first 500 miles. After many failed attempts to contact him. Over 4 months! He finally told me only thing he would do, is a head gasket replacement at my cost for roughly $1500 when he "got around to it" needless to say I did not have him do it. Total lost. I also have many friends who has bought faulty engines from him not a trustworthy seller!
