I have an elderly female cat that is unable to groom herself anymore. And she will not let me brush her. She’s very feisty.
Many thanks for shaving and removing all the mats. I was able to bath her and condition the areas which were irritated. She’s feeling and looking great thanks to a very patient vet tech.

While this practice does have a fabulous front staff team, the techs are extremely rude and condescending and speak on behalf of the veterinarians as you don’t actually get to see a vet and they examine your pet behind closed doors. I do not recommend.
Pine Street Animal Hospital was a God send. Lulu has anxiety from an abused past & I tried the same vet, the previous owner used, for shavedowns. She almost died.

After several phone calls, plus an examination, the very efficient and knowledgeable Dr. Glenn monitored every aspect of the medical procedure. A contracted groomer came in to do the shave down. Less medically evasive, plus she had her own Dr. by her side.Thank you Dr.Glenn, Casey, Cassie & others.

My cat, Mr. White, currently has diabetes and has needed constant care and tests. I love him so much and knew I needed a better vet than I had for several reasons. I found PSAH and feel so lucky to have a place like that so close to home. They have been seeing a lot of us. They make everyone feel like top priority. Dr. Hill and the whole staff have such compassion for the animals they see and work hard to take great care of them, answering questions any time of day, and check in with your pet even after your visit. I have been recommending PSAH to everyone I know. No matter how Mr. White's story ends, I owe them a debt of gratitude for everything they've done.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR FUR BABIES HERE. I found lumps on my dogs neck. A friend of mine referred me to this place. Just at glance,I was told that my dog had cancer. To be clear my dog is my everything,my best friend in the world. I was so upset about my dog that I just couldn't get it together at the visit. While I'm crying my eyes out,a lady came in with a card reader thing and wanted to know how I was going to pay....mind you my friend had told me this place has payment options. Through tears I kept asking about their payment options. They acted as if they had no idea of what I was talking about. They said they didn't have a payment plan and that they needed all of the money,right then. I thought it was strange because my friend specifically told me they have a payment plan. I told them I needed to go outside for a minute to get myself together. As I went outside I noticed employees coming outside with me. I'm guessing they actually thought that I was trying to leave w/o my dog and w/o paying. As if I would EVER leave my dog in her time of need. I'm a black woman and I feel like they were being completely racist. I came up there in my pajamas and my car is old.( Which they saw when they kept coming outside,thinking I was running off) They THOUGHT that I couldn't pay and was basically trying to make sure that I didn't leave w/o paying the FULL amount of 674.00$. I talked to my friend who referred me today. She told me they ABSOLUTELY have a payment plan. I told her how they treated me and she is TOTALLY disgusted,and isn't taking her dog back there again. Also my friend says there is a sign that says all results back in 1-2 days with the exception if you go on a Friday. I took my dog there March 3rd,why am I just now getting my results back today. Who can actually stomach waiting a week and a half to see about their dog's health? I payed them the 674.00$ before I left but suppose I didn't have that? It's not like I was told what the full amount would be BEFORE my dog was seen. I feel like this place is racist. They made things worse for me as I was learning horrible news about my baby. I'm suggesting that no one that reads this and no one that I know take your fur babies to this veterinarian. Signed,A devastated fur mom.
Your staff is so kind and loving toward Cassie. They greet her by name and gave her tummy rubs. As her pawrent I was also treated with respect and not talked down to. That in itself means a lot as the previous vet lacked severely in this regard. I especialy loved the followup the next day just to check on Cassie. I will always recommend Pine St!
Super friendly staff. Very understanding and helpful. All of my questions were answered and they even did a call the next day and a text right before the weekend to make sure my baby was doing well. This was our first time here for an emergency visit. Definitely would recommend.
Would give a 10 if possible. They take such great care of Patches. Trying to give our cat a few more years to live. She is old spent much of her life with no care before moving to our home. My neighbors use them also and like the vet and office employees. Highly recommend for excellent pet care.
We had a great experience at Pine Street Animal Hospital. The staff was really kind and helpful. The vet took her time explaining things in a way I understood and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this practice!
Dr Adcock is fabulous and he and the entire staff love all 3 of my labs like i do. They are thorough, compassionate and professional. I like that they keep me informed about options and new treatments to help my geriatric pets as well as take good care of my puppy. I highly recommend them and thank them for all they do.
I was very happy with my experience with this vet. Loved that I could make an appointment and they got us in and out quickly. The waiting room was calm and quiet, with limited other pets. They were kind and efficient with their service. The vet was very thorough with her exam of my kittie! I highly recommend them.
I love how they make appointments like a human doctors office so your not sitting in the waiting room forever. Dr Hill took such good care of our Chloe. We even got a follow up text to make sure she was doing good. It's the little things that make a difference
We are absolutely bowled over by this practice so far. We live in WNC and our main vet’s office is not available to perform a service that we need for our dog due to the damage for hurricane Helene. I emailed Pine Street Animal Hospital and was met with warmth and kindness, not to mention they responded within the hour!! They got us in the very next week, and scheduled us for Nugget’s dental the week after! The vet and the vet tech were so kind and took such great care of us. Oh, and the prices are super reasonable, and they don’t push additional services on you. Yes, they suggest things that your pet may need now or in the future but there is not that sales pressure you sometimes get with a vets office. LOVE THIS TEAM!
I took my dog, Smalls to Pine Street Animal Hospital recently and was very pleased at the ease of getting an appointment the same day, the excellent and compassionate care he received and the reasonable cost. Smalls has visted Pine Street Animal Hospital in the past as well and received the same amazing care. The staff is kind and courteous, the facility is comfortable and clean. I was also pleased that staff also followed up the next day to see how Smalls was doing.
Definitely recommend.
My 16 yr old needed a vet asap, my vet wasn't open until 8am. I was a walk-in and waited awhile until a Dr came in.

I just started going to this animal Hospital and I really like the people there they take the time to talk to you and to look at your fur babies and I really like it I did not have to drop my fur babies off and come back and pick them up..
This place is phenomenal. One of the best vets if not the best vets that's in Spartanburg. So patient so good with the dogs. Very helpful staff is awesome
Our visit was completely stress free, and the staff members put all of us at ease. They were warm, friendly, and professional in every way. This was our first visit to their office, and our pet received top-notch care at a reasonable cost. We are already looking forward to taking our 2nd pet in for his annual check up and vaccinations next week. Dr. Hill is our absolute favorite. She has taken the best care of our Smokey for almost 12 years now. I cannot say how grateful we are to have her in our lives…. He’s living the good life
Everyone was so nice and welcoming! They went over charges with me before any services were performed which I really appreciated! It was my kittens first vet visit and they were all very gentle with her and she didn’t seem bothered by anything at all. I highly recommend this animal hospital.
Dr. A and Dr. E saved my little Olive dog's life last year with two extremely difficult surgeries. Dr. A is a superior surgeon; best in the area. Front desk staff are superstars, and tech staff are world class also. Lucky to have this place in Spartanburg.
We have loved all of our interactions with the staff, techs, and doctors. Every person here has been helpful in caring for our 10 1/2 year old dog. The doctors and techs are incredibly knowledgeable. It has been efficient and easy to make appointments as needed. The office has communicated consistently when checkups/check ins are needed (which I really appreciate). For a vet office they are very up to the technological times. I really like the ability to virtually shop for different medicines based on the prescription of the doctor - all through the website!! This is the go to vet for Spartanburg! Also the price is affordable and they do take pet insurance.
Going to the vet when your dog is not well is never a fun experience but the staff and doctors at PSAH were comforting and helpful. I set up an appointment in advance and was seen on time. During the visit they made sure to calm my scared dog by giving her cookies.The visit didn't take long. The visit and the medication were reasonably priced. This will be our veterinarian from now on.
