The rudest people I have ever met. Some of the slowest customer service ever. Do not call them for anything whether it be locking your keys out your car or anything. If I could give them negative stars I would!!!!

Shout out to Austin specifically! Man was kind & concise answering my questions, really helped me out as I needed it. Went above and beyond in helping me with nit-picky requests, got the car in a crazy tight spot using difficult angles with ease, I was impressed haha. He treated my vehicle with respect

I cannot express how amazing the staff at Death Valley Towing is. We needed a lock out service at the credit union for a member, who was very stressed. They were here in less than 10 minutes! It made the member cry and she said the professional young men who helped her were angels. The empathy and kindness for her situation was over the top! Thank you so much!

Shoutout to Death Valley Towing and My Guy Carson (that's my son name btw). They helped me get my Keys out my car today after a long day/night of cat and mouse. They were very communicative and even met me at another spot to help me, after another company towed my car. A faulty key fob is what caused the situation but the guy with Carson (who name i didn't get), took his battery out his fob to fix mine. S/o to him too! Thanks DEATH VALLEY TOWING! I know everyone thank y'all are the bad guys but we ALL have a job to do. Oh & last but not least, Thanks to the dispatcher too! She was able to laugh at my crazy morning over the phone but hopefully she has a crazy story to tell for awhile. LOL

While I do think that their approach to towing is a bit aggressive and not the greatest with how they prey on college students as well as not having the best signage in the areas that they patrol and not leaving a phone number anywhere for the people who don’t know what company does all the towing in the area, their staff is very friendly and professional. They take pictures of the vehicles they tow before and after and roll everything on dollies as to not damage the vehicle. $180 minimum seems a bit ridiculous to get your vehicle back from them after getting towed, but again, very friendly and professional staff. The experience could have been much worse. Update: I used them to tow my girlfriend’s car yesterday when it broke down and they were very prompt and friendly. If you break down, call them. If your car disappears because you were illegally parked, probably call them as well. Be nice and they’ll be nice back to you.

All things work out for good, including getting towed, to those who love God and are called according to his purpose. Charlie was kind and helpful. I hope I don’t ever have to come here again but if I do, at least they have good service!

Met Carson as he was in the process of towing my car. He could have completed the tow as I was in the wrong. However, we had conversation and realized I was unaware of the parking hours for the lot. He removed the equipment and allowed me to continue on with my car...Tow free. Great guy! I will definitely use them if I'm ever in need of the services they provide.

I had some car issues and needed a vehicle towed about four miles away from where it was on Super Bowl Sunday. Death Valley towing was quick to arrive and get the job done. Highly recommend

As a Fedex Manager of Oconee County Death Valley has been nothing but good to our company. Getting there quick and making sure our drivers are able to compete the day.

Rocky was extremely helpful and went out of his way to get a friend of ours back on the road.

Rocky was amazing! I was very distraught and his understanding and warmness definitely helped my situation. Car is running and we are headed back home thanks to Death Valley and Rocky.

I Locked my keys in my car on Saturday afternoon at a store in Seneca. I found Death valley towing searching on my phone, called and they answered right away and told me they could get to me in 20 minutes --they actually came in 10 minutes. Car was open 3 minutes later-- very fast professional service and fairly priced for an emergency service. Thanks again

Death Valley Towing has to be one of the most predatory businesses in the upstate. They were contracted by my apartment complex to tow vehicles illegally parked without passes, excluding visitor spots. I came home on night to their goons trying to tow my GFs vehicle from a parking spot clearly marked visitor. After arguing with their driver, the realized they messed up and dropped the car and drove off. I know for a fact if I was not there to confront them, they would have towed the car and would have made us pay anyways. I highly recommend not using this predatory company, and if your apartment / work is contracted with them for service, always document where you park with time stamped photos in case they try to swindle you too.

Definitely didn’t want to get towed tonight, but I’m sure glad it was them who towed my car. They were super respectful and kind, and I love the t shirt that I got when I picked up my car!

Parked 30 minutes away in the back of an aldi parking lot to go to a Clemson football game. Once we made it back to the car after a long walk after the game we found out these people had towed our cars and several other people’s cars in the parking lot. After a thorough search we realized there was one tiny yard sign in the corner of the parking lot that said no parking. On top of this, they charged us $180 to get the car back. If you’re ever trying to find free parking for a Clemson game, just buckle up and pay a parking fee, because these greedy people will tow you and bleed your wallet dry.

Highly unethical business not to be trusted with fees much higher than local competitors. My son’s sticker was removed by someone and even if it was authorized to be there they towed it at 11:30 on a Saturday night (and they are closed on Sunday) and didn’t check on it till Monday evening finding it missing so they wanted to charge for 3 days towing! They said they would wave 2 but still with a towing fee if $175 they are ripping off poor students! If your son or daughter are at an apartment in Clemson that uses this service do not lease from them as their vehicle WILL get towed at some time..highly unethical and predatory business!

These guys did a perfect job of winching my car out of a stuck situation. Rocky was as competent and pleasant to deal with as you could ask for. He arrived earlier than promised. He took great care to not damage my car and communicated well to make sure we weresafe and could be on our way.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Death Valley Towing towed my car from my own apartment building’s garage even though I am a paying resident with a valid parking pass. The only reason this happened is because I had my car detailed that day and forgot to re-hang the pass from the mirror—it was still clearly visible on my side door - it wasn't like I did not have it in the car. Instead of showing any kind of sympathy or basic decency, they charged me the full $180 and wouldn’t even consider reducing the fee by a single dollar. I understand rules, and I would have accepted a fine, but the complete lack of courtesy or flexibility when I had proof and photos of my valid pass is beyond unethical. This is a predatory business that takes advantage of technicalities rather than treating people with fairness and respect.

Shoutout to Death Valley Towing for proving that not all heroes wear capes; some just don’t bother showing up at all. After a Clemson game, with their number plastered on our parking site, we called because a car had us completely blocked in during a medical emergency. Their response? A hard pass. No help, no care, just pure apathy. If you’re looking for professionalism, compassion, or even the bare minimum of decency, look literally anywhere else. Death Valley Towing, thanks for reminding us how low the bar for “customer service” can go.

This Death Valley Towing is thieves they are towing peoples vehicles that are legally parked. My sister parked her car on the street in Clemson legally and when we went back to put things in her car her car was gone! Found out Death Valley Towing towed her car and told us the Clemson police department is the one who told them to tow it . When we got in touch with the Clemson police department they said they didn’t have any record of it being towed. It’s awful funny that they were saying it was parked illegally but when we returned to the car there was another vehicle parked in that same exact spot. The Clemson police department is helping this crappy business make money off these law abiding citizens and the city of Clemson is letting them do this. As a place I loved to go and shop eat and go to the football games have just made it where I don’t know if I will go and support the sports and local businesses again!

Parked for Clemson home game with flags and everything in our usual spot . We’ve parked there for years and we were towed today because they said the Police department wanted us towed ! Didn’t even get to go to the game because we were trying to get our car back. They have a sign that says overnight parking from 4 to 7 am would be towed . It wasn’t there last week when we parked at 6:30 am so we parked there for the game this weekend at 5:00 am and it was towed at 5:27 am! It’s a shame they are running Clemson fans off because of their stupidity. The school needs to check into all of this……

Illegally towed our car for “overnight parking” but we had been downtown Clemson all morning tailgating for the game at 5:00am.

ATTENTION !!! This place is a Joke, definitely are crooks, my child vehicle was towed, mine you it was in a his complex parking space over night. Which the battery was dead. They swear it was double parked.. which was another lie. Then went to jump it off at their garage when I got there I was over charged. I was given one price over the phone then when I got there was another price, Supposedly change by the on coming attendant which didn’t want give me her name nor her manager name, Which again is illegal and adjust policy and is in which for grounds of termination. Seems as they are targeting college students living quarters. PLEASE HELP

Austin’s was a tremendous help. We had gotten a flat tire and didn’t have to tools to change out for the spare. He stopped on his way home after work. It was nice that he still took the time even though he’d already worked all day.

Despicable. I went into my son’s apartment complex to pick him up for a student/parent Clemson event at 8:00 pm on campus. 30 minutes later my car had vanished. It’s almost like they were watching me. To be able to identify my car that quickly, hook it up, and vanish into the night with such efficiency was scary. Predatorial scary…..like an animal looking for its next meal. They must have been Hiding in the woods with binoculars to work with such precision and timeliness to feed on their prey.

Had the unfortunate experience with dealing with these vile humans today! My car was illegally towed after being parked overnight *LEGALLY* at my friends apartment. I was parked in a visitor’s spot AND had the appropriate pass. My friend said that having the pass in the front windshield or back window was appropriate. As you can see from my attached photo, the pass is clearly visible. I guess this wasn’t appropriate enough for Death Valley Towing because of their pure LAZINESS. They informed me that they only check the front windshield for passes. I also was wrongly informed prior on the phone to see if my car was in their lot that I did not have to pay a fee because the lady on the phone AGREED that my car was wrongfully towed. When I told this to ladies at the front desk, they said that they have no knowledge of that. They refused to let me talk to anyone else above them and insisted on placing blame on my friend’s apartment complex rather than their lazy driver. With all of this to say— BE CAREFUL where you park your car or they might just tow it for fun!

I have always been so grateful to deal with good, honest people, companies, and organizations who really want to do the right thing. Isn’t that what we all want for ourselves and others……I thought so until my experience with Death Valley Towing!!!! Death Valley Towing should be embarrassed and ashamed by the way in which they conduct their business. My daughter and I had to unexpectedly switch cars, due to her having some car trouble. My car was parked in her designated paid spot at the apartment complex, while her car was in the shop. It bothered no one, and no one complained about it!!!! She realized the car had been towed when she was headed to the car to drive over an hour for a much anticipated, important job interview for an internship. Needless to say, that didn’t happen and she was so upset as I wasn’t able to get her another car fast enough. After calling DVT and explaining our situation, it was evident they could care less about us or what happened. It was all about how much money they could make off of this tow! I understand there’s a need for towing companies, but this company looks for ways to take advantage of people, while making money in such an unethical way. When I went to retrieve the car, I explained our situation again. I admitted we had made a mistake by not getting another sticker for the car but they had the opportunity to only charge us the $170 towing fee. They said they weren’t able to do that as my small car took up so much space in their big tow zone so they were insistent on having to charge for every day it was there. My car was at Death Valley Towing 3 days without me or my daughter even knowing. They could have absolutely chosen to only charge for the $170, which would have still been making money off of a very innocent situation. They didn’t even try and make it right, or even meet in the middle because they didn’t care one bit. I’m so thankful I will NEVER have to deal with them again and hope they would read and listen to reviews to be a company the wonderful Clemson community could be proud of!

I went to my favorite yoga studio in Clemson, Solshine Yoga, and after class, I noticed my car was no longer in the parking lot. Death Valley Towing had illegally towed my car, and the yoga studio confirmed this to the Clemson police officer. The police contacted Death Valley Towing, who then admitted the car was wrongfully towed. The police requested the return of the car, but Death Valley Towing refused, insisting that someone come to pick it up at night. Unfortunately, the police officer couldn't retrieve the car because it was towed outside of their jurisdiction into another county. The instructor from Solshine kindly offered to drive me to get my car, as the police officer agreed it wasn’t safe for me, a small woman, to go alone at night . The police considered the situation serious enough to involve an officer from Oconee County to assist with retrieving the car. When I got the car back, it wasn’t operating correctly. The manager promised the owner would call the following Monday to make this right and they have failed to do so. I believe this is a very shady company, and i believe people should be concerned that they are putting young women into dangerous situations by making them retrieve their cars in remote locations. This seems like a dangerous predatory action. Thanks to the kind officers from Clemson and Oconee police for their efforts in helping me get my car back. Be cautious, you could be the next victim.

After my experience with Death Valley Towing last year, I had to leave a five-star review. This company and its service were an absolute Godsend to my situation. I had an electric car that needed towing, and at the last minute, right before closing, I decided to give this company a call. Even before closing, they had a tow truck come quickly that could move electric vehicles. The service I received was timely and affordable, and I was completely satisfied with my experience. I am beyond grateful for the help and customer care I received.
