Unfortunately I had my car repo'd while vacationing at Surfside beach; I contacted the finance company and they released the vehicle back to me within the hour. I contacted Jennifer, from Legendary, and explained to her that I was from out of town with my family and I were stranded. As soon as she received the the paperwork from the finance company she contacted me and gave me an immediate appointment; I had my car back in less than 24 hours after it was picked up. Very grateful for her assistance.
This company drove threw my property to reposes my neighbors car. They didn’t ask permission and tore up my yard! My whole front lawn is destroyed from the tow truck going in circles threw my yard. I’ve tried to contact them and they avoid contact. I reported them to the police. I hope they get shut down the nerve of them to think they can destroy other peoples property that had nothing to do with a repo just shows how bad this company is!
The most disrespectful people I’ve ever met. The women at the desk are rude, uncaring, and will straight up lie to your face. Didn’t want to assist in any way Haiti anything. If they’ve gotten your vehicle be prepared to be looked down on, talked rudely too, and if it don’t work out they’ll make you wait in the sun on a ride.
Amazing parkers... I was not even a half mile tow and got my car in less that 12 hrs.... I was told 3 times I wound have tonpay to get my car out under circumstances either way I had to pay 251 for less than a mile and less than 12 hr keeping!? Wasn't even my choice. I have kids and a just hot out of surgery and because I was forced to go to the er 251 for less than a mile and less than 12 almost less than 6
I would rate this 0 stars if it was an option. Rude and unprofessional liars. Overcharges. Took 5 hours for them to release vehicle, which is against the horry county ordiance. Wrong address on Google. Didn't even have the right vehicle information. Make sure you ask for receipt if you have to deal with these crooks.
Now, I may be no scientist, but I don’t need a magnifying glass to see that this is the worst towing company in the planet. They stole my friend's car and it took two whole days to get the dang car back! We even called the cops, but they did nothing to help (as usual). Next day we find out they had been stalking my friend (A COLLEGE AGED GIRL) for the last two days!!!!! Stay out of Myrtle unless you also want your car to be illegally reposessed
Horrible company to contact. Multiple calls after I paid for a towing only to have it finally dropped off days later. Asked for paperwork before paying and they had none. But Horry county police use them for on call towing. Someone is getting a kick back for using them.
They towed a couple of box trucks of mine three or four years ago and they were very reasonable and good service I think they just opened up at free time and we're pretty new to the area
Giving another 1 star review since the shop still ignores me about fixing my dents on the challenger they admitted to doing and won’t call me back after two weeks of calling every other day asking for the manager, the lady over the phone says he will always get back to me then never does and she told me he has been in the office and given him my number to call me but still won’t. Me and my family are giving one star reviews every other day on new email accounts until the problem is fixed, don’t deserve to be treated like this.
Had my Challenger pushed down with this company, from the top of a hotel in Surfside, and damaged both sides over the finders. Was told they would take care of it, and have been txting the tow truck driver about what to do since the body shop they sent me to won’t give me a call back after 2 weeks and 4 phone calls. Told the driver what was going on and didn’t get any help after he said he would. Asked to talk to a manager and the driver once again didn’t respond and has continued to ignore me. Drove to the shop told the lady up front that I need to talk to the manager and was told he wasn’t their asked for a call back, never got one. Called the shop twice in the past two days asking for a call back once again still nothing. Called today and was told maybe try Monday. Me and my family will continue to write reviews and give one stars until my car is fixed. I’ve been so nice and patient to everyone at the shop don’t know why I’m getting treated like this.
Treated my mother terribly for no reason when she tried to go pick up one of our vehicles. It started when she gave them a call before heading over and the person who answered had an attitude. Ignored our phone calls yesterday and wouldn’t answer the door, even though someone was inside. They slammed the window in her face today while she was talking to them. Would give zero stars if it was an option. Avoid if possible.
If you have belongings in the vehicle and don't get there right away, they will go through your things. Left some keys in a vehicle and when I was able to get them, all my items were out of the console thrown on the seat... Not a good look for them.
My friend’s car was stuck in mud in a ditch so we called the nearest tow company for help to get the car out. We explained where we were and that the car was stuck in mud that came up at least to our ankles. They told us that the tow truck would be there within 30-45 min and it took them an hour and a half to get there. Once the tow truck got to our location, the driver didn’t speak to us but spoke to the law enforcement that was there and said that they would not get the car put the mud. They then got in their truck and left. I called to get an explanation as to why they couldn’t get the car out, the person that answered the phone was incredibly rude stating that he “didn’t want to be liable if the car’s bumper came off” and that I shouldn’t “call them to complain” and then hung up the phone in my face. Another tow company was able to get the car out the mud in less than ten minutes and the car’s bumper was perfectly fine (the car didn’t even need to be hooked by the bumper).
SCOTT REFUSED TO GIVE ME A RECEIPT FOR TOW SERVICE. I NEEDED TO SHOW RECEIPT TO MY INSURANCE AS I HAD PAID SCOTT CASH PLUS A NICE TIP. AFTER ME AND MY INSURANCE COMPANY TRIED A DOZEN TIME TO GET HIM TO SEND US A RECEIPT. AFTER A MONTH MY INSURANCE COMPANY DID REFUND ME THE MONEY WITHOUT A RECEIPT. AVOID THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY.
Had car repod in Myrtle beach. Made it back to TN found out where the car was and called to ask when I can get my belongings back that was inside the car well they said I have to have an “appointment” and then out of the blue there’s a “time for property release” and the woman who could get me my property decided to stay out “with her sick hubby” on the day I’m suppose to get my belongings and then on top of that they say I have to pay storage fees for everyday I’m suppose to wait basically trying to drag out the days they hold my belongings I guess to get more money off me and trying to get money off the bank that had them repo my car they literally pullin bs to get more money. I get there to get my things they open the car doors for me to get my stuff and I had not left those doors unlocked how they got in it is beyond me and my gfs purse is gone with all her info in it License, ss, debit, credit everything. I really hope that $90 and useless plastic was worth it for you people, I believe in karma and this place got it coming.
My car was mistakenly towed from my son's girlfriend's development on January 18. The General Manager of the development called Legendary and made arrangements for my son to pick-up the car no charge. When my son arrived at Legendary early Saturday afternoon, the person at the counter, said he knew nothing about this. He was asked to check with the manager (or owner) so he went into the back and returned saying no arrangements were made he would have to pay for the tow. Obviously the manager (or owner) was there. My son was there for approximately 1 hr and repeatedly asked to speak to the manager (or owner) but he refused to speak with him. He hid in the back. Eventually he told the counter person to tell my son they had no contract with the development so they won't release the car without payment. My son told the person behind the counter, that if there was no contract they had no right to go into a gated development and tow the car. The manager (or owner) continued to hide. He hid the whole time refusing to speak with my son. The counter who had been relaying the messages appeared to be under the influence. Not good for an automotive business. I called Legendary a number of times during this to speak with them, but they wouldn't answer. Even though arrangements had been made to release the car, they continued to hold the car for ransom. They lied when they told the development GM they would release the car. We needed the car so we eventually had to pay. I have been a businessman for over 40 years and have never seen this level of unprofessional behavior from a business. I would have to say their lack of professionalism is Legendary.

Worst people to deal with!! They towed my truck that was legally parked in front of my house. Then tried to make excuses to why they did. They need to hire drivers that can read and see! Never deal with them and be careful, they will try to steal your money by towing your vehicle that is legally parked!
They saved my day and got be back home. No complaints, had a import lowered to the ground, they made sure no damage and took there time. Thanks again. I'm the side note the recommended mechanic was amazing and great pricing.
I have used them twice for keys, once because my husband lost the key to his van and once to get a replacement key for my daughter. Super nice people and excellent service!! They came to the storage area where my husband was locked out and stayed until his keys were made and he drove home (several hours)! And fixed my daughters key fob and made her and extra key super fast - and very inexpensive! I would recommend them for all your locksmith needs!!
What a lifesaver!!!!! I called another locksmith when I lost my only key after dropping it, without noticing at the edge of the ocean and realizing it after high tide came through an hour later! That locksmith was not a remote specialist for rekeying and recoding and gave me this companies phone number. Not only did he answer immediately, he came out as soon as i said yes to the quote! His price was lower than the dealer by far, I received more then 1 key, he took extra time checking all the keys several times each so that he could leave comfortably knowing the keys worked perfectly everytime, and the price was fantastic considering what i needed and the amount of time he spent! Thank you so much for such a fine job and i hope thi never need your services again but should I? i would recommendhighly send use your service again for sure! Thank you! I'm From Charlotte North Carolina,&My 5 Kids,&Myself were down @North Myrtle Beach @Wytham Resorts and My Suburban had to be towed out of the 3rd Floor parking deck due to a Flat tire, almost every tow truck company couldn't do the job but my Insurance company called these guys and "FRANK" came and got the job done,He also was more compassionate about getting my truck fixed,and also was kind enough,&made sure I got across the busy Myrtle Beach Traffic to get me a cup of coffee while I waited for my truck to get fixed.When You need help please dont hesitate to call Legendary Towing.
DO NOT USE THEM!!!! PLEASE READ ALL. These people took complete advantage of me. I flew out from San Diego after they repossessed a car for me and fist they quoted me $200 for the keys, it turned out to be $250 then, I asked them to do a simple oils change and found over $250 worth of "repairs" on the invoice. I stood up for myself and asked them about it, they immediately got defensive and said that they had done a tune up!!! I never asked or authorized them to do a tune up, just a simple oil change. The bill should have been $300 for the repossession, 200 for the keys and I asked them not to exceed 100 on the oils change, adding up to $600, the bill turned out to be $803.00!!! Then when they pulled the car out of their slummy lot I had the sense to check under the good and found that my oil cap was not there!! I believe this was done on purpose. They also did damage, that you can tell was recent, to the front bumper and bent the radiator when they were doing the "repairs" i never authorized. I have filed a claim with my insurance. These people will scam you. If you are stupid enough to deal with them then get EVERYTHING in writing beforehand. That was my mistake and I learned the expensive way.
Locked my keys in the car. Called Scott up, and he was there within 15-20 minutes. Great guy, and great service. If I ever need help again, I will be calling him.
Such Easy Guys to deal with! These guys understand how to help people in not so great situations. I'm a car Hauler and these guys treat their clients great from what I saw with my own eyes. They helped me even though they were not obligated to do so. The place has a family atmosphere you feel when you get there.No wonder they are such a fast growing and well liked company.
