Had the hood, roof, and spoiler repainted on my 10 year old Prius at the Myrtle Beach Maaco. Was done in a day and a half. The results matched the rest of the car perfectly and the car looks like new. Very pleased.
I went to Maaco after get an expensive quote elsewhere without explanation. They talked to me about what they would do and why things are priced higher than others. They gave me a great price and the work was fantastic.
They did have my car longer than expected, but it wasn’t an outrageous amount of time.

Will go someplace different next time we have a need. They painted a door we didn't ask to be painted(color does not match and SUPER obvious) and picked up vehicle to find broken speaker cover... Which they said they would find replacement but they have not. The secretary said she would order speaker cover... Crickets. The manager said he would make right... Crickets. Not going to be a repeat customer.
Took my Honda to Maaco for a paint job. It’s bittersweet because I got the car from my dad after he passed and their team listened to me like I was family. I needed to get it painted as it’s an older body; it still has quite a few miles left but rust had set in on the hood. They were even able to repair bodywork that the Honda dealership back home said would cost an arm and a leg to repair. The team took their time and focused on every detail. From the front office to the back end pickup - I highly recommend this location and their team for your paint/repair needs.
Corey and Alicia are very helpful and go above and beyond to help out. They were both knowledgeable and gave me great information. They are also understanding and flexible and will try to help you out as best as possible.

Corey and Melissa were so helpful with everything. My car looks great and I'm very happy. It was ready in the amount of time they said it would be and everyone was very professional. I would highly recommend them.
My original paint was a metallic silver. The lady writing it up suggested we go with a plain gray because the painter cannot do metallic without leaving streaks. We settled for the gray, paying $1025 for the job. On pickup it appeared to only have one coat. It was not smooth and had dust particles over the whole car. The lady that wrote it up said it’s dust floating in the air. I asked if they did not have air filtration for that. She said yes, but that’s the job you get from Maaco. The car is old and we basically wanted it protected from rust and weather so my wife and I decided to let it go. I think $1025 was overpriced by about $300-$400. Also, there was paint smudges on the inside and outside where someone had touched the vehicle and not wiped it off. I doubt we will ever return here, and I would surely never recommend it to a friend. I would not want to be responsible for the result.

This place is the best around! I would highly recommend using them! My 2000 toyota tundra was painted at this shop prior to new manger takeover. The paint looked great for a few months then faded and looked dull. The new manger at the shop is top notch and his crew puts out great work and results speak for themselves. They repainted and refinished my truck and it looks better then when it came off the lot new! Glossy smooth and gets a ton of looks!! I'd recommend you stop in and let them help you get a great refinish!

I have an 05' Camry that needed a paint job desperately. This car was given to me by my dad, so it's very sentimental. Being a college student, with a full time job, I don't have a lot of money to spend.. BUT Alicia was able to give me a good price. I know they say MAACO is the place to get a cheap paint job, I'm aware that it isn't going to be perfect, and obviously my car is older. There were some things she advised me about prior to getting the work done, like debris being in the paint, but she assured me it would be kept to a minimum. Overall, I'm very happy with the paint job, and the customer service I received. If you need a good paint job, at a reasonable price, definitely come to this location. I have had multiple cars painted over the years at Maaco. I am always extremely excited and appreciative of the consistantly amazing job that they do! Maaco had my car for a week. First painted wrong color day later painted right color. Car covered in "fish eyes" as they call it. Said because I used a tire cleaner it caused that. I don't and didn't. I call b.s. on that. Will not stand behind their work. Left garbage in back of car that covered the windows. They removed lettering for car model and put it back on misspelling it. Don't go there. Pricing advertised Is not what you pay. Dishonest and poor workmanship.

Bought our beloved Caravan new in 2002, it's been through the wars and has racked up over 200,000 miles and still runs like new. But she has been really looking shabby lately as her clear coat broke down and we couldn't bear the thought of getting rid of her on looks alone so we decided to look into a new paint job. We explained the situation to Corey and the crew at Maaco and were very pleasantly surprised at their willingness to give us a very reasonable price. We obviously weren't looking for a complete restoration (See the before photos.) Three days later we were completely blown away with the fabulous results these guys performed on this old reliable family member! It seriously looks like a new car again, way beyond our expectations! My experience was great. Cody and Lisa are wonderful to work with. I love the way my 1993 Toyota pickup looks. I know it was a challenge being an older model. They got me the color I was looking for, the new highly stylish Nardo. I highly recommend Maaco on 501 in Myrtle Beach!
Very happy with my car. I went with a complete color change and the old color doesn’t even look like it was ever apart of the car! Very attentive to the trucks needs and affordable fir what there's charge. I recommend painting the same color that waybthe inside of the doors don't need painting. A little overspray ( very little ) that I'll address myself. Overall a great experience.
Took my 2000 Toyota RAV 4 (white) to MAACO’s Myrtle Beach (SC) location on January 10th. Alicia Garcia was the account representative I met upon arrival. Friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. She documented my ideas, preferences and concerns, and then we did a ‘walk around’ appraisal, Ms Garcia asking several specific questions and giving me a her assessment and eventually a detailed breakdown and estimate. She originally cautioned that given the age of the car and original paint condition it may take longer than the normal 3-5 day turnaround period. To the painters and staff credit they finished on the original scheduled time frame and I was able to pick up my completed car on Friday, January 17th.

12/4/24: great staff, a very very good painter. I delt with Henry, initially, and he was very tentative to my car and kept me up to date on their progress; when it was in prep, sanding, paint, and finish. From the day I received my estimate to the completion of paint was less than a business week (in and out, all business).
the quality of paint exceeded my expectations. The price was by far the best around but keep in mind, perfection costs a lot more money. There might be an imperfection or 2 but that is expected with a budget paint.
full body paint is something that shops no longer want to perform. Before I went to Macco the quotes that I received were from $6500-$9000. I am ecstatic over the price and quality. I will attach pictures once I put all the trim back on the car. I wanted full coverage so I stripped most of the trim before dropping the car off.
I brought my Fiat spider here to get the side mirrors painted and was a bit nervous, but the service I received was above and beyond great! I can’t remember the guy who helped me , but he was so pleasant and made my experience with them top notch! Btw my mirrors look amazing!
This is my second car I have had painted at Macco. I am very picky about my cars how they look. My car is second big invest I have so I take care of it. So trust Macco to do their magic on your vehicle. I bought 2012 highlander at a great deals, but I hated the silver color. So took it to Macco had it painted. It looks like a brand new highlander. It was painted an ready to pick up in 6 days.
Henry and his team did an outstanding job on my 2018 Cadillac Escalade. My paint was fading and the dealer wanted $10k to paint. Maaco painted my entire vehicle for $3k, and it looks brand new again. I would definitely recommend this Maaco location to others. The entire staff was knowledgeable and friendly. If you want a top-notch paint job at a very reasonable price, trust Henry and his team.
