I was trying to find an affordable solution as a single mom paying out of pocket. He didn't like that I wanted to find the best value for the best quality. He said that he didn't participate in that type of business.

A year after my gearshift mechanism went out and was replaced by Paramount, it’s still working great! And the customer service team has been extremely helpful and kind! I needed a receipt a year later and they were quickly able to retrieve it and send it to me! Thanks for everything!
Paramount is the best! I've been going to Paramount for about a year. I went to get a second opinion for an oil leak that had been "diagnosed" by the dealership. I'm not stupid, and I have family that knows cars. First, I cleaned off the oil stick to make sure I could read it and took it to Meineke to make sure I was right. Second, I found a large piece of cardboard and placed it under the car for a week. No oil spots. Then I called Paramount.
Donna Gordan was wonderful. She listened thoroughly and gave me an appointment. When I arrived, Jimmy Truett, Sr., was in the office and asked me why I thought I had an $1100 oil leak! (That was the repair price from the dealer.) I told him about my past dealer appointment and the things I had done to track it down. Even before the service tech took it back, Mr. Truett said, "you don't have a leak."
Later, the tech and Mr. Truett gave me the news. He couldn't find a leak and even sent pictures over to me. Now, a year later and more oil changes, NO LEAK! You can't imagine how thankful I have been. I now get my car repairs and tires at Paramount. The rates are fair, the work is completed on time, the staff is great, and I TRUST them. Mr. Truett could have easily played into the oil leak and offered to do it cheaper, but he didn't. That's the best way to earn someone's business.

Best auto repair experience I can remember! Susan let me know the day the part came in. My vehicle was repaired the same day I dropped it off and....they saved me 600.00 off a prior estimate! Super nice as well. I definitely recommend Mr Jimmy and his group.
Would 100% recommend to family and friends! Had a fender bender and they were able to get me right in. They were communicative and took care of everything with my insurance company. Now you can’t even tell there was ever an issue with the car. It was super easy and hassle free!
Jimmy always takes care of me and my vehicles. He's done a great job installing tires on my kia and did a great job replacing my blend door actuator on my pontiac. I would always recommend this shop for any car needs.

After our daughter was in an accident in SC, we decided to contact this business to fix her car. Their level of communication on the phone was fine and Donna was quite nice. However, when our daughter went in, she dealt with a nasty and rude woman and there is absolutely NO reason for that. It left us with a bad feeling that this place does NOT know how to treat it's customers and we will be taking our business elsewhere and have cancelled our appointment for next week. After reading some of the other reviews, it seems this place has an issue with being rude, so I think we made a good decision. You're in the south, be kind, our money is good anywhere!

For some reason it doesn’t allow me to reply to your answer. First off I was not rude, whoever was on the phone didn’t even let me finish saying what I was trying to and all I was looking for is to figure out a reason why you can’t take care of the repairs, or why the appointment was canceled. Second we never got an email that appointment was declined only an email to confirm our email address. Bad communication, bad look for the business. Extremely rude is your case there. If you are extremely overbooked so state this information on repair pal or the website so people don’t waste time.
Taking our car to Paramount was the BEST decision we’ve made. They made an extremely stressful situation so much easier. Donna is extremely helpful and cares so much for her customers. It truly shows, and is very appreciated. She went above and beyond, and we are so very grateful. They have a team of dedicated people that do what it takes to get things done, all while smiling and keeping you informed. Best team ever! Thank you guys SO much! Needed some cosmetic work done on my 2019 Toyota Avalon. Paramount did a fabulous job of restoring the car to its original beautiful finish. I would recommend Paramount's outstanding staff and repair abilities to anyone who needs top quality work.
AC stopped working 2 days before traveling back to Pennsylvania. After a hard time from my warranty company, we got approval Thursday afternoon. The Paramount Crew was able to gather up the hard to find parts and completely the job the very next day! Really put me at ease. Highly recommend??
Went to this collision repair shop for an estimate because they had a lot of good reviews and offered free estimates. I walk in and was asked "May I help you"?. So I ask can I get an estimate on some body work. The response was "No, I don't have time and my program is not working". Didn't expect that. So don't bother with this place. They aren't very professional, at least in the office. Owner responded that I walked out after the response. Of course I walked out after being greeted with such rudeness and attitude towards a potential customer. Maybe "No, I don't have time and my program is not working" was not a very good answer to "May I have an estimate for some body work". As far as my rude remarks "I guess I'll take my business elsewhere then" may seem rude to the owner, but I would say that to any business that greets me the way your business did. There is plenty of competition in the area with friendlier staff.
And I never give 5 stars. If you need any thing done to your car and you live in the Myrtle Beach area this is the place to go. Great customer service and great mechanic work. Thank God places like this still exist.
4 years ago we moved to myrtle beach. We have been going to Paramount auto service for both of our cars. Jimmy the owner is the best. 100% genuine, honest and trusted owner. Very reasonable, courteous and extremely accommodating. We highly recommend
EXCELLENT customer service. Great friendly staff! I highly recommend this auto body shop. My son hit a deer driving our Dodge Ram. Dropped our truck off and had it back in less than a week. Looks brand new. Very satisfied with the repairs done. Their staff communicated great with us during the repairs; keeping us up to date on the repair status. Jimmy Truett & Bleu were great to work with.
Went here to get an estimate on a small scratch on my paint. The older gentleman took a quick look at it and said I would have to have the whole quarter panel and the door painted. He said “you want it to look good don’t you?” He gave me an estimate of $700. I said I would go look somewhere else. I went down the road to Macco. The manager took a look at it and went and got a rag w/ some solution on it and wiped the whole scratch off in 20 seconds at no charge. I feel like paramount was trying to take advantage of me because I drive a nice car. Be really careful if you chose this place. In my opinion they can’t be trusted!
I have been in the auto industry for 28 year and I can honestly say that Jimmy and the team at Paramount are awesome. Great customer service, prices are exactly what they say they will be, do unreal work and they have great follow up. In the past 2 weeks I have used them for a body shop repair, alignment, suspension adjustment and new tires on multiple vehicles. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!
Most trustworthy, hardworking, and fair shop anywhere. Jimmy, Bleu, and the whole crew are absolute professionals. This is a family owned business that cares about their community and it shows. I would never take my cars anywhere else because I know that I can trust Jimmy. I’ve had my cars serviced by Jimmy for years and can’t say enough great things about him. He and his staff care about everyone that goes in there, answer any questions, and provide top of the line service. They are like family and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars.
I had an esimate done on my 2005 Lincoln for repairs to front and rear bumpers. The final cost was lower than the estmate. The workmanship looks excellent and the car was done on time. I will definitely recommend Paramount to anyone who needs repairs and/or painting done. Thanks Jimmy!!!!
Great service!!! Sometimes, I show up at the shop with very little notice to Jimmy. He always gets my vehicle in and then turns it out fast. Paramount has fixed my truck, replacing rear wheel bearing and tire rotation as well as oil changes. I plan to let them install a remanned transmission soon. This is the best auto service center in the metro Mrytle Beach market. I drive from Charleston to let Jimmy and his team work on my vehicle.
Absolutely in love with this shop. Jimmy Truett and his staff are well educated, friendly, and hard working. They definitely strive to take care of their customers. Whether it's an oil change or body work, you can be sure you'll be taken care of.
I had a nail in my tire on a Friday afternoon. Never heard of this place but found it by searching for nitrogen filling locations. Every dealer that offered this service wanted me to wait until Tuesday. I called and spoke to Jimmy, he was extremely helpful and said they could get me in that day. When I got there they pulled my car right in. We were in and out very quick. I personally thought Jimmy was professional and courteous. Thanks for your help. I will recommend you!
