BEWARE: Our motorhome unexpectedly blew a hydraulic line as soon as we arrived in Myrtle Beach and setting up at the campground. We called several RV techs with no luck, one recommended this company. We called them, he was honest and said he would have time to work on it if we could bring the motorhome to them, so we brought it there.
Owner Russell said he would get authorization from our extended warranty, which would cover this. Come to find out ABC billed us an upcharge not covered by warranty, and he told us he hadn't heard back from our warranty company. Our warranty company told us what time they gave him authorization, Owner told us he didn't get any authorization back, so we had to pay him out of pocket. We won't get reimbursed from our warranty company for his upcharges that we didn't know weren't covered. I guess honesty may not be this businesses policy.
I’m sure there are better choices. These people will having thinking your saved. And then not answer your call when arrive. Save yourself the headache you will find yourself waiting for no one!
After calling them, and being told they could do the work I needed. I called back cause he said he would look for the part. Then stops answering my calls or responding. Very unprofessional, if I were you I would look else where.
We lost breaks on our RV the last few miles into the campground for our family vacation with daughter & granddaughter. This was the 1st year our son-in-law was going to be able to join us. My husband called this place & the service tech was to come Friday morning between 10 & 11. Husband got to spend a couple of hrs with the family on the beach & then spent the rest of the day waiting at the RV & nobody showed or called. Husband called & was told they would show Saturday morning & they never showed up. Again, time my husband spent waiting that he missed spending with the family. The tech called Saturday late afternoon & promised to be here Sunday by 10:00. Another no show or phone call. Missed breakfast out with the family & our son-in-law had to leave after breakfast to head home from work on Monday. Husband tried calling & kept getting voice mailbox that was full. Another no show or call. If this was my employee, he would be fired. Would NOT recommend this company. I wish I could have given no stars.
ADD problems with my brakes overheating call them on Thursday evening said they would be out Friday morning they did not come called in Friday evening said they'll be out Saturday morning they did not come call them Saturday evening said they come out Sunday morning they did not come kept saying they were sick at least they could have called me and let me know so I could go out to eat with my family
November 2022 While on the way to Myrtle Beach we had a blow out on our 5th wheel.
The last thing we wanted to do on thanksgiving week was worry about getting tires on our camper.
Thankfully on the way down I was able to find ABC Auto! We called the next morning and we’re able to set an appointment with the owner to have all new tires put on our camper while still set up at our camp site.
The owner and his son came right to our campsite and in a hour we had all new tires. I was worried about the price having them come to the campsite but in all honesty it was so much less then I expected!
We camp in MB each Fall and if we need anything again we will definitely be calling ABC Auto.
5 stars isn't enough! After boondocking for 2 nights, we were stuck with a slide, not retracting. ABC is the 2nd call I made, and they not only answered the phone but were knowledgeable and professional and got us on the road in no time. I didn't get the owners name, but we are so happy with our experience. We spend a lot of time in Myrtle Beach and have this company saved in our phone now. They should be anyone's first call. Thank you for getting us on the road!
We needed a last minute fix done on our 5th wheel before a long travel day. We could not have made our trip happen without these guys! Complete lifesavers! Lee came out to our site, got working right away. We discovered badly corroded brake pads during the disassembly. Lee jumped on the phone, sourced and picked up a complete set of back plates. He worked until 9 at night to get the job done. Had us safely on the road first thing in the morning. We were blown away by his dedication and thoroughness. ABC will be our first call on any future fixes.
