This place was a life saver. I came to Myrtle beach from 10 hours away my brakes went out I called them and they got me in right away. The people as soon as friendly and helpful. I was able to have a safe vehicle again to finish out my vacation and make sure my family is safe driving in the car. Thanks again for being so fast
Very helpful , I was out of town and blew a tire ! They didn’t have my size but gave me directions to a close shop who did and helped me get a tire ! So thankful for you guys .
I was on vacation with my daughters and granddaughters. My daughters passenger window WOULD NOT come back up. I was at Affordable Garage 9am sharp. I entered the Lobby and was greeted by the staff in a friendly manner. Justin ask how he could help me. I explained the situation; he was ready and willing to help. He was able to get the window back up and didn't charge me
I TRIED MULTIPLE times to pay he wouldn't accept anything. Thank you Justin for your kindness mostly for your honesty.

I found my shop!!!!!! Mr. Greg and Ms. Patty make you feel like your in good hands. They towed my SUV and had it back to me the next day. My problem was taken care of with integrity. I am truly thankful.
Transmission switch went out here while I was on vacation. Auto zone recommended me there got there early the next day. They handled business vehicle running great thank again.

I am so unbelievably disappointed in this place and mr greg- for starters you need to learn how to speak to people on the phone. This isn't the 50's sir and you can't talk down to or patronize women in the 21st century.
2nd my husband and I just knew we found our go to guy for car repairs. But today... today you single handed ruined that. We had our car towed in with a starter issue. Then there was a GPS devise that caused the starter issue. So we remove that, replace the starter, rewire now the box is gone and an unitemiezed bill for 710.00
Today the car key sticks in the ignition whereas it HAS NEVER DONE IN 8 YRS - and when I call to question it- - all I get is " well that ain't got nothing to do with the starter" and you just kept repeating that in such a disrespectful manner. I hope you have good insurance affordable garage- stay tuned
If i could give them no stars at all i would i took my car to this shop they charged me 190 to balance all my tires and to tell me whats wrong with my car the owner told me that he balance everything and the only thing was wrong with the car was that all 4 of my rims was warped i spent 415 dollars on new rims bought them to another shop to get them on just for the other shop to tell me all my tires needed was to be balanced i didnt need rims so what did i pay Affordable garage for??!!! And just for him to be completely rude i spent 665 dollars dealing with this shop for. Nothing to be completed i wouldn’t refer this shop to my worse enemy
I've lived in Myrtle Beach for over 20 years and was recommended to try affordable garage by a friend. Very knowledgeable mechanic and friendly staff and prices that are fair. I'll be taking all my cars there to be serviced for now on!
My father was an auto mechanic with his own shop in Virginia and I know how he operated his business. Affordable Garage is also a family-owned business with knowledgeable mechanics on duty and quality service that is beyond compare. I highly recommend this garage and give them 5 stars!
Very nice people, but they are putting rebuilt or used auto parts in the cars. I spent 450 on an alternator replacement on what I thought was a new one. I sold the car about 5 months after that replacement because I moved to NYC. The person I sold the car said the alternator went out. no way a brand new alternator goes out that quick.
We were on a golf vacation down from Canada when my truck had issues that seemed to be quite serious. I called Affordable and they were able to fit me in that same day. After running through the diagnostics they were able to fix the issue for a very reasonable price. They are an honest and reliable place of business and I would highly recommend them.

Greg is wonderful after purchasing a vehicle i brung my car in because of a noise he told me I needed a new engine Without even touching my vehicle! I took it back to where i purchased and they found out that to be true he's very honest and explain to me what exactly is going on with my vehicle any time I have a problem. He does not pressure you he pin points the problem. Definitely a great place and definitely affordable!
Fast and Reliable, very family friendly! I had a blowout, I called and didn’t even have to wait a full 30 minutes before the owner Mr. Greg came and towed me. he was so nice, got us to the shop and him and his son got us in and out with a new tire within 15 minutes. Every other shop I called gave me a hour more wait time and was twice as much!
Went here for a used tire, it was the closet and most convenient shop that had what i needed. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist me with my needs. There wasn't much of a wait at all they got to me almost immediately. The only reason I gave them four stars is because i feel like $60 for a used tire is a little pricey but i am not complaining because after all they were able to fulfill my needs and get me back on the road.
Greg was great. Fixed our van quickly and at a fair price (nicely less than the corporate shops in town) so we could get on the road back to Chicago. If I ever need work done in Myrtle Beach, Affordable Garage gets my business. Thanks guys!
If you are new to town and need an affordable mechanic, this is the place to have your vehicle serviced. Prices are great, quality work, the owner and his wife are very nice people. Speak with kind and respect and they will go over and beyond to meet your needs. I missed their call to pick up my car, he came back to meet me. I almost didn't have a car for the weekend. I've been coming here the past 15 years. I love joking with the owner Greg. They make me fill at home each time I'm here. I normally get used tires when I come. The tires are good quality and cheap, exactly what I need. I can always count on them to be there when I need them.
We had a vehicle issue while on vacation in Myrtle. We chose Affordable Garage only because it was the closest, what a great bit of luck! The mechanics were amazing, friendly, and efficient. Our truck was squared away in a few hours and the cost was less than they estimated. Honest guys, I would highly recommend them.
In Myrtle Beach on vacation upon arrival we noticed brake dust from one of the rear wheels. I called a few shops for pricing, but Affordable was most reasonable with very good ceramic brake pads. We're very honest and straightforward about needing one rotor as it was scored, but only charged for the part, car was done in less than an hour and started the work right away. Nicely run family business who did a great job, fair pricing , and friendly attentive staff. Thanks again Greg and Patty, I highly recommend this shop.
Great people....great prices... these people take care of you. Car broke down the night before we was suppose to leave to head home. It was a Friday night. Our biggest fear was that no one was open on Saturday. These folks was 8-5. Called them Saturday morning. Told them car was dead and needed to be towed. He called back said part was over 2 hrs away but had already sent someone after it!!!wow what great service. They call us about lunch time to let us know it was fixed. They did us right. They knew we was trying to get home so they could have added all kinds of pricing. They was fair...nice... and quick. Definitely the place to go!!!! Thank you guys so much
Took my 98 infinity qx4 in had no start no crank issue so it's either starter, safety neutral switch or ignition switch. 40 to diagnosed. It was starter and neutral safety switch. 80 for the neutral safety switch and 150 for the starter. Which is about the price you pay at auto zone or online. And 100 for each of the labor. They fixed it with no appointment in about 4 hour. Drop off at 10 am done by 2 I went there at 3. Payed the 540 and then was told that my transmission needed to be fixes also and that would be an extremely 200 and my car doesn't go in drive. So I tell to fix it. Turns out it was pin that broke and they replacement the gasket and fluid and got to work pin is still broken but it runs now tool them 20 min total cost 740 for starter neutral safety switch and transmission gasket and being able to put the pin in. Great service they were fast and just as reasonable priced as anyone probably cheaper they took me with no appointment. So I am happy with them.
Had the engine light come on today while driving to work. Drove it over the Advanced Auto where they ran a quick diagnostic on it and suggested driving it over here to Affordable Garage. So glad I drove to Advanced Auto and got the recommendation because I didn't have a mechanic down here yet. These guys took us right in when we got there, diagnosed it within 20 minutes and had it fixed and ready to drive away in under an hour. Good, honest work and affordable to boot. They were super friendly and very professional. Will be using them from now on! Highly recommend. My lucky day.
Very poor Service i advise anyone not to take their car there. Affordable Garages should not be their name because the prices are ridiculous. The first time i took my vehicle there, they installed a brand new power steering pump one that i purchased from Auto zone. My car is still making a bad whining noise. There excuse was keep driving and turning the wheel until the air bubbles come out. Well isn't that their job. Then they gave me a used battery that was very worthless. All together it was 190 dollars wasted. 100 for the installing and 90 for the old used battery(no warranties). Which they told me was new.These people rip you off and cheat you out of your money.
