This company preys on college students and have the highest towing fee around! Poor college kids having to pay $320 for towing and storage for 13 hours is ridiculous. My other kids have been towed in other towns and each time was less than half the fee my son was charged today. They also have a “whining” fee of $5 according to the sign posted inside. As a bonus when you get there they only accept cash. Bet Uncle Sam has no idea of all of the money they’re scamming out of clueless college kids…. These college apartment complexes should cancel their contract with this company. Shame on Corners Car Towing!! Definitely do not recommend using this predatory company!
We had trouble with our motorhome and it couldn't be driven. Coachnet contacted Corner Cars towing. Chris showed up. He was very professional, knowledgeable and super nice. He got us hooked up and towed our baby over 80 miles to the shop. I would highly recommend their service. Particularly if they send Chris out.
Two workers last night were extremely unprofessional and rude for no reason I will always recommend another towing service in Myrtle beach do not give these people your business.
James was great. He was knowledgeable and so helpful in a stressful situation. Unfortunately I got them through a third party unknowingly. Definitely call them directly not through a company with an 833 number
They suck. They lied about what time they towed my car even tho I have proof. They are scammers. Double check what they charge you they are liars. They said they towed my car at 1:20am even tho it was in my parking lot at 6am. Charged me an extra $50 fee for “storage” even tho my car had only been there a couple of hours (not the advertised 12 you get charged for)
Kevin at Corner Cars Towing is the most capable man I’ve ever gotten towed by. I had myself and a buddy both stuck in deep mud, far from a roadway. No one could get to us and no other towing company even offered assistance. He was extremely fair on pricing especially with the incredibly difficult situation we were in. I don’t know what I would’ve done if he didn’t show up. Thank you again for everything you did Kevin, you were really a life saver.
they are so greedy and rude… towed my car in the middle of the night from my apartment that only has 5 guest spots for the whole apartment complex… say they’re open 24 hours and now they close at 10pm… and they only do cash only which is so ridiculous. oh and it’s 300$ to get my car back!
Kevin provided a tow after 5 hours of wait time for AAA to help us. He was very courteous and professional. He answered all of my questions and did a great job.
had a parking sticker on my dashboard, visible on my car. they told me if the sticker wasn’t stuck on the windshield, i’d have to pay if you couldn’t see it from outside the car, went to the site, could visibly see it from outside the car, and they still told me i had to pay
Corner cars has towed a few of my vehicles most notably my little ole ranger that smashed a deer. They have fair prices and always treat your car with care.
We had an amazing experience with Corner Cars! Jonathan was our primary driver and Billy backed him up! These two are a force to be reckoned with! We needed help getting our trailer and truck out of a median. They analyzed the situation and quickly came up with a genius plan to pull us out. These guys are the true professionals! Jonathan and Billy were both sensitive to the situation and listened to our concerns. They worked with the utmost care for our equipment. When our battery died, they quickly towed us to the nearest Firestone, easing our stress as out-of-towners. After having it repaired and after another bad alternator struck 12.7 miles later, Billy returned, towed us back, and even drove me through a chaotic festival to reunite me with my frantic wife and kids. Thanks to their exceptional service and compassionate staff, our trip was saved. We highly recommend Corner Cars Service Inc. for anyone who needs a helping hand in such a tough situation.
One of our trucks was involved in an accident and the police called Corners to come out. I was surprised with the price they gave us, very honest. After a couple of days we got our truck repaired and our driver got stuck couple of miles away and they came out right away and winched him out. Very good service and prices, I will save you and call if we need towing/winch again in the area!
My car caught fire, was melted, complete loss. Joe was so helpful and professional via phone. Billy came same day to get it and literally cleaned up seeing I have a broken shoulder, so kind. Ben was at the office when I went to retrieve my license plate. So empathetic to a little girl who I care for daily. This business is completely unreliable. Their website doesn’t list operating hours, and despite their sign claiming they’re open 24/7, I arrived to find the doors locked. When I finally got in touch with them, they attempted to charge me for an extra day. They seem to take advantage of college students by charging outrageous fees, preying on cars parked in lots with tons of open spots, and only accepting cash—yet their ATM conveniently doesn’t work. To top it off, their customer service was rude and unhelpful. Avoid this place at all costs.
Kevin and Travis by far were the most demeaning and disrespectful individuals. I understand you have to do your job but when evidence is given and your only response is “well the works been done already” and you speak to me as a child and you talk over me then I have an issue. 0/10 I do NOT recommend. Not to mention they have an F rating when it pertains to the Better Business Bureau.
Popped 2 of my Tires in Andrew’s SC last night, called AAA and was waiting for a tow truck on the side of the road for 4 hours! Finally, they got in touch with these guys here, Kevin was an absolute pleasure to work with, very friendly and just knew how to lighten the mood. Thank you for saving our butts!
I had a flat tire, on a Sunday night, in freezing temps and Travis showed up in no time to my rescue. He even waited for someone to pick me up so I was safe despite my dog being with me. Super appreciate his prompt arrival and genuine kindness during a stressful time. Travis deserves 5 stars!
After 4 hours of my insurance company trying to find someone to come tow my car thankful these guys came through! He update me from the time he was on the way to my car, when he got to my car, and when he was on the way with my car! Very dependable tow company. Will use and recommend them again if there comes a time I need another towing!
TERRIBLE communication and lack of customer service. Jim especially was rude talking about he’s just the dispatcher and doesn’t care for the sad stories, telling us they tow hundreds of cars a day and doesn’t give a crap and won’t return the car without the $257 fee cash only. Odd number right? Weird. Anyways, once she agreed with the fee, my friend asked him what is the daily fee for the car to sit? Simple question and his response in a laughing manner “oh you don’t want to go there” all you had to do was just tell us the daily fee and that’s all. I was there for my friend and drove her to the place to retrieve her vehicle the next day keeping in mind he told her (I heard since he was on speaker)on the phone it was a 43 dollar fee every 24hrs !!! They had to have towed her car at the complex around the evening like 9p-11p last Saturday and once arriving that Sunday early like 9-10am the lady at the front desk told her it would be $300 cash only to get her car. She told us that it was an 43 dollar fee every 12hrs. Even when walking into the store it's already looking sketchy, ATM is already out of order one and two people told us different things increasing the price once arrival to pick up the car. I strongly do not recommend this place and they need to be shut down!!!
Make sure you go and get your vehicle asap! There is no atm and they only do cash. Don’t expect them to have change when you get there so call ahead get the exact amount and get it back quick. The guy almost seemed like he wanted me to leave my Harley there after hitting gravel and having to drop my bike. Thankfully I had crash bars so the only thing I lost was my skin and a tail light. Don’t stay too long talking cause they charged me 185 and didn’t even have my bike for 24 hrs
They showed up quickly and charged a reasonable price. I had it towed to Hyundai for repairs and Hyundai could not find it in the parking lot because they were too lazy to go walk outside and look for it. The driver drove back to Hyundai to show them where it was and called me back to confirm that they found it. I really appreciate the effort and the communication and I would highly recommend!
Don’t use them to move equipment. They came over here to the job site, parked it in a soft spot and destroyed our toolbox in the process. Instead of handling it like a professional outfit they insisted that it’s not their fault!!! Sad
