Helpful staff, very organized, recycling, junk, scrap metal, cardboard, all in separate bins and I didn't have to wait on any of my 4 trips there. The sign says closed Sundays and Wednesdays.
The rude employee that was staffing this location in Saturday August the 19th shortly after 12 noon was rude and apparently has a reading as well as a auditory comprehension problem. The sign clearly said that I can dump up to 4 yards daily. She refuse to let me put anything in although I told her that not all on the trailer was trash, I just wanted to put in my allowance of 4 yards. She used the logic that she had let me use the dump on a previous date the week before, thus the lack of comprehension. She refused to give her name, however I feel sure that her supervisor will know who she and I am awaiting a call back now. Please do not take this as a reflection of all as I have had many pleasant experiences at the Cates Bay location, 905 and others as well!!
I recently moved here from New York and this was my first time at the recycling center. The lady, Toni, who works, there is awesome! Super friendly and helpful! The place is nicely laid out with bins for everything you might need to dispose of. Great place!
I find it comical that it is listed as a grocery store when it is a dump where you take your garbage. The staff is still awesome though they're very helpful and they do a wonderful job of maintaining the premises.
