Impatient on the phone he hung up on me after I told him I had my own scanner. He was trying to charge 75$ for a scan

*****BEWARE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE****** I would not do any business with this company or owner as they have no morals. They are specifically trying to exploit people who need a tow if their car is disabled. READ THE REVIEWS! I had my Budget rental car towed on 3/29/25 they were contracted through budget to tow vehicle. We were at a rest area and the tow truck driver stated he could not take myself, husband and daughter in tow truck. Budget had given a voucher for an uber but we were unable to get an uber at the rest stop. I called back Jerry's towing and spoke with the owner. First he said I should sue budget for stranding us and he would try and help us out. I asked if he could have tow truck driver turn around and come back to get one of us to take us into town to get an uber. He then tried to extort me for 250 dollars and he would send someone to pick us up. I said no and then he said 100 dollars. I agreed then he stated that he wasn't going to that it is too much of a liability and he is not making any money off of us! I then told him I would leave bad reviews and he started getting nasty and stated I must be a BIDEN supporter. I ended up hanging up on him. Really disgusting how he operates his company and speaks to people on the phone.

Our car died at a gas station on the way back from Florida and they came out to us within a half hour on a Sunday. They towed it to their shop. We were very grateful. The mechanic was off till Monday morning but worked on it first thing Monday. He analyzed the problem and fixed it in 1 hour! We were thrilled since we still had a 10 hour drive ahead of us.

Can't say enough great things about this company. I accidentally locked my keys in my car. After contacting my insurance company for roadside assistance, I believe the gentleman's name was Jason called me immediately, he explained that his guys would be to my home within 30 minutes. (Pretty sure they arrived in less time) I did not catch the two gentleman who unlocked my car, as well as jumped my car but they super professional and extremely nice. I'll be sure to use them in the future again!

These guys are highway pirates callers beware. I was towed 2 miles to the nearest loves for $200 and during the encounter they cussed me out and also had a few henchmen thugs hanging around the shop.

Great place. One of my vans broke down near by, I called Jerry. I left the van at a gas station, and when I called a few hours later to see if he had any info on the problem he let me know that my van was already fixed and ready to pick up. Just wow, thank you Jerry.

We were stuck on the side of the road with a blown tire and Jerry's was there to help within 30 minutes! Super great people and service!

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I was charger $916 for two tires and a replacement transmission oil pan and I had to miss 4 days of work because the mechanic ordered the wrong part. The kicker is the charged me for both parts

Almost lost a wheel on I-95 heading south late afternoon. Managed to get car to Jerry's Towing & Garage Services where repairs were started and completed next morning. Got rides to and from hotel. Excellent all around small town service, much appreciated!!

Don't break down near Yemassee! Jerrys Garage took us to the cleaners. They didn't properly diagnose our vehicle, over charged us, and we broke down once again 200 miles on 95. The Chevy dealership found the issue immediately and got us back on the road.

Blew a tire on I-95 while headed to Columbia. Called four different places and Jerry was the only one to answer. Didn’t have the deep well I needed for my aftermarket wheels. He sent some guys out and got me back on the road quickly and for a good price. Highly recommend!

My truck AC stopped working on our trip down to Florida and we were stopping over in Yemasee so we called Jerry who took us right in and figured out we needed a new compressor in minutes. He had to pick up the part, but immediately went down to Beaufort to get it, dropped us off at our campground while they got it fixed and picked us back up when it was ready. We are forever grateful for his whole team's southern hospitality and for giving us great service for a reasonable price minimizing loss of our precious vacation time. ??

My truck had a problem that I couldn't handle myself on the side of the highway. Reluctantly, I looked for a tow service in the area. I called Jerry's because it was close to the few hotels in the area (it was late and I knew I would be stuck overnight). Long story short, they got to me at about 8:00 pm. They dropped me at the hotel and towed the truck to their shop. The next morning, they got parts and repaired the problem, picked me up at the hotel and had me back on the road by noon. The cost was fair, not a bargain but completely fair. I'd recommend them and will call them if I ever get in a jam there again. ?

So thankful for these guys helping us when our boat trailer broke down on the way home from Florida. They towed it safely the rest of the way home. Highly recommend! Great price and was right on time, we did not have to wait on them long.

I hit a pot hole on my way to Beaufort SC and the tow truck driver replaced both my tires but seriously over charged me. Of course I couldn't do much about it because I had 2 flats. But $500 and today I awoke to one of those tires being flat!!!! I would not recommend anybody else to use him or his business. I called him this morning and was told that he would not reimburse me for my flat tire. He is not responsible for the tires once he puts them on!!!!

We had our rv towed to Jerry's when we got an engine warning light. He used his scanner to diagnose. He diagnosed coil pack was bad but the rv was safe to drive home, so that is what we did. Jerry even called us to check on us. He very easily could have taken advantage of our situation but he was very honest.

I can’t say enough good things. Jerry is a stand up guy who goes above and beyond for a stranger. I broke down in the area coming from Florida on my way to Greenville. Within 30 minutes, he was loading my car on the flatbed. I also had my dog with me and he was so helpful and understanding. He recommended where to take the car and took me there. He also dropped me off at the rental car place down the street which was so so nice. I was already stressed to the max and he made the whole process a breeze. We had a great conversation on the ride and I’m grateful for these guys or else I would’ve been waiting hours for someone who wouldn’t do half of what Jerry did. Thank y’all so much for being awesome!

Needed a lockout service 12/22 at about 7:30 PM. Woman on phone said the lockout man was finishing up a job about 10 minutes away. He came out, opened my car in about 20 seconds ( I counted) and we waited 3 minutes for Carmen to arrive. Then she tells me it’s 275 dollars for the 20 second job the man had completed because “that’s the holiday rate bud” . Although I am grateful for the fact that they came out or at least the young guy who was the one who even did the job, it seems to me that 275 was excessive and the fact that she made me PayPal her makes me think it could’ve been a dishonest rate. Regardless, they’ll probably sum it up to “well that’s the normal rate for the holidays” but for one, it was Thursday so there was no holiday, and 2 I was also never advised of the rate when I called. At the end of the day most of the people in this industry strive off of desperation and necessity anyways, especially when someone has no other option, and that’s where they make their money. Out of helplessness. If you have the means to pay those amounts, then this is the right service for you. But you’re real unlucky if you’re just an every day person because $300 for a 20 second job I desperately needed at the moment is a lot for an everyday joe, but again, I needed the service and I paid for it, now I am simply expressing my sentiments in regards to Carmen’s decision to charge me that much. Whether or not it was solely greed or they genuinely believe $275 dollars is what their 20 second service is worth, I hope y’all read this and seriously reevaluate y’all’s ethical principles. There’s a line between trying to get the bag and hustling and taking advantage of people in need. Pray to God I never end up in this trash situation again.

This crew saved me and my family from sitting on the road for hours. It was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and I blew a tire on a trailer I was pulling. It was 1030 at night and I would have been stuck but they worked to get my tire changed and charged fairly. Fantastic and friendly people!

These guys saved us when we blew a tire on I-95 driving from Florida to New York. Turns out my car had no spare and very rare tires, but they called around to every tire place in the area, found a match and towed us there. (We even learned about local history!) They went the extra mile, were friendly and kept working with us until we figured out a solution. Without Jerry's we would have bee stuck and out of luck. THANK YOU!

This is by far a salt of the earth operation! They are caring people. Not only did they come get me on Interstate 95 but they also took their own time to have someone drive and get my part and get me back on the road so that I could make a living during these difficult times. They went far beyond what anyone else offered. I would recommend using this business. HARD WORKING HONEST PEOPLE!! Everyone there wanted to help. While I was there a lady pulled up and others stopped what they were doing to get her on her way. It’s not every day you find people willing to be helpful beyond normal business hours to help others. Family business and they are FAMILY PEOPLE!! MY KIND OF PEOPLE. THANK YOU!!!!

Great service! Jerry towed our car and helped us find a ride to hotel. He and family went out of their way to help us. I was sceptical at first, of course. The repair was very reasonable. Service was excellent. Good folks!

My husband and I were desperate for a tire for our camper. One blew out the sidewall around thee Florida line this morning. We looked at every exit after that probably at least 20 places. One place said they had one in Savannah, but we needed an E rating and it wasn't. At 7 something the same evening Jerry came through with a 235 85 16 G rating. The nice thing was that he knew we were desperate and didn't price gouge us. Thanks Jerry.

We were traveling from Florida to upstate NY and were stranded overnight. Jerry found us an alternator and they got us taken care of promptly! Very nice and honest man...thank you!

I was stuck on Pine St due to following gps and they came and pulled me out when no other tow company would. They were awesome. Super friendly and understanding! P.S avoid Pine St in Yesseame!

My rear tire shredded on i95. I could not disengage the secondary latch on my spare, despite trying for 2 hours and consulting YouTube videos. The state trooper who stopped couldn't get it free either. Jerry tried to help me on the phone for free and then came after I was still unable. He got my spare free after a few minutes and had it changed in less than 5 after that. $100 cash was his up front price. Thank you Jerry.

This man is a crook!! I had run out of gas 3 miles from his shop. He charged $125.00 to bring 5 gallons of fuel to me which was not a problem. I suspected he was a shady contractor when 2 miles down the road my vehicles started shaking and the check engine light came on. Then he wanted to charge an additional $250.00 to tow my vehicle 18 miles which I declined. Another service charged me $76.00 for the trip. I had the service center test the fuel to confirm my suspicions and I was correct. The fuel he put into my vehicle was 50% percent water!! Surprisingly he has not returned any of my calls and left me no choice but to involve the authorities. Again this man is a crook, avoid him at all cost.
