These are a friendly bunch of people. They have some items that are hard to find at the Big stores like Lowe's and Ace Hardware. I needed large U bolts, and they had them. They have a lot of items for trailers, large tractor trailers, and small utility trailers.
Man! Incredible service all the way around. I had a couple struts go out on my camper topper (I use it for my drywall business) and Longs went above and beyond to get it repaired to better than new condition! Not only did they replace the struts with an upgraded version, they repaired a latch that had broken, re-bolted the top hinge, and even installed new weather stripping around the door perimeter. That was all done for an incredibly fair price and with a one day turn-around.
If you’re ever in need of any sort of trailer repair, go see Boyce at Long’s trailer and body! The only thing better than the customer service, were the old school movie recommendations! It’s not hard to see why they’ve been in business 70+ years, thanks again for an outstanding repair
I was in Greenville on business 600 miles from home when I had trailer hub issues on my 22 ft cargo trailer. The folks at Long Trailer, got me in and out in a timely manner at a fair price. I was able to get my job finished and head home without delay thanks to Rick and his crew!
Exceptional service doesn't describe what we experienced. We are traveling across the country and our boat trailer wheel bearings disintegrated. Good Sam's left us on the side of the road while Auto Club towed us to Long Trailer where we spent the night waiting for them to open. They pulled our trailer right in before they were even opened for business and began working on it. They are professional, courteous and friendly. They took excellent care of us and provided us with the information we needed to continue home. They were a huge Blessing to us in our dire time of need, in this heat, stranded with our 3 dogs. Please consider them for all your trailer needs, you won't be disappointed
Excellent quality and amazing customer service! Friend transporting goods from NC to Texas had total brake failure on his trailer. (8x16 Wells Cargo). We contacted Long’s while in transit and asked if they could do an emergency repair. We ended up in traffic and arrived just at closing, but Boyce had a bay waiting, and promised to diagnose & repair at morning opening. All 4 hubs and brakes were compromised, including backing plates. Longs had ALL of the parts in stock and had the rig back on the road by 11 am the next morning! Boyce and his team did a remarkable job in a very short period of time, and at a very fair price. We will use them again for all of our trailer repair needs. Highly recommended.
Boyce, Terry and the tream have taken good care of me for years. When a tech took the time out of his day to fix my stripped, leaking hub caps this afternoon, I knew I had no choice but to leave an overdue review. Definitely the best trailer shop in the area and I would recommend them for any trailer/flatbed maintenance or repair.
I had a great experience at Long Trailer. BOYCE and TERRY were determined to solve my issue. The customer service is outstanding, and the jokes they told, well.... They wont to bad either. . I called several places to find a wheel hub assembly for a 1987 Tracker Marine Trailer. I had no luck, even the Manufacturer could not answer some of the questions I had. Longs was able to answer my questions and resolve my issue the same day. They did good and I'm back on the water fishing. Thank you Longs Trailer!
Installed hub assemblies, without adding grease to the new assembly. Assembly failed the following day, entire trailer almost burned down. When I called the tech said "well they come pre-greased".
Scarred spindle beyond repair, now I need an axle.
As if that wasn't bad enough, when I brought it back after, they refused to work on it anymore.
I have been using Long Trailer since the 70's. They have always been very helpful and have a huge inventory and plenty of knowledge and a great attitude. Thank you to each of you for your great service! Steve
Great place to get trailer parts and trailer service. The staff in both the parts and service departments, are well knowledgeable with all brand names of trailers. Reasonable pricing.
Couldn't get loaded due to leaking trailer roof ( was pouring rain ) They were waiting on me when I arrived. Was there a bit over an hour. Got me on my way !
I had a great experience here and would recommend them to anyone in the area. All the women in the office the men in part and the technicians where all extremely professional and curtious. They treat you like family, absolutely fantastic! I was in a real bind and they got me taken care of lickety split. They did a great job and if I'm ever in the area again and need anything this is my go to. Boyce thank you so much for getting me in and out and for doing such a great job. You have an awesome staff! Was getting ready for a move hauling a trailer but had a problem with lights. Brake lights & blinkers did not work. The problem was with the car wiring not the trailer. Called them & they said come on up & we will take a look at it. Every other place I called said a 2 weeks wait. My husband went up & they diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. Got it all fixed. My husband said it was like red carpet treatment. They got one of the guys that was working on something else come right over & look at our car. He was out of there within an hour. Old school customer service. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks to Rick who I spoke with on the phone & everyone there who got us all fixed up.
Always a great experience here. Can drop my equipment off at night and return to pick it up once work is completed. Never have had any issue and everything is always fixed the correct way the first time. Will forever take my equipment here!!
Traveling through area and had an emergency problem with RV trailer wobbling. They took us in immediately, fixed the problem and got us back on the road. Professional service and good rates.
I recently visited to have my trailer’s wiring serviced after my truck alerted me to “check trailer wiring; wiring is disconnected”. At the time of my first appointment to have this serviced, I told the servicemen exactly what the issue was (WIRING).
I stayed for the completion of my trailer to get fixed only to find out that they decided to fix a magnet in the brake pad. Completely dismissing the fact that the WIRING in my trailer was the SOLE issue. I was advised that this was the reasoning for my WIRING issues (also advised that this will fix my WIRING issue) and was charged a total of $150.
I then returned the next day, I advised that the WIRING once again is still DISCONNECTED and needs to be FIXED. The owner, Rick/Rich, begins to work on the trailer and with some time completes what I expected to have been done the first time.
He then becomes irate after I refused to RE-PAY for the service, decides to rip up the ORIGINAL receipt I was provided with and advises to not come back.
Called and got us right in would recommend to anyone our liftgate went out on our 2014 freightliner m2 the staff was friendly from start to finish. Thanks

This place is incredible! My husband broke the leaf spring on his enclosed trailer during the middle of a work day. I called and spoke with Boyce and my husband headed over there. Boyce was so nice and helpful. They immediately began working on the trailer and had it fixed within about 30 mins. My husband was able to get back on the road and finish his work day. Incredible service from incredible people. You just don’t find people that are that willing to help in an emergency. Definitely will be recommending these folks!!!
Customer service at its finest. They were the first people I called. My trailer was broken down in a parking lot and I was stuck there. The owner himself came out to me and fixed my trailer. I didn’t have to worry about anything or lift a finger. All the people there were super nice and helpful
Very professional. I went to half a dozen people said I don't know so I went to Ricky he said is that' it? I said ya. He said easy. Did awesome job pulling frame on trailer. And charged very responsible price. Will be going back with all trailer needs.
Talked to Terry parts manager about Airstream travel trailer Dexter axle upgrade. 4/5/2017 He took measurements ordered,two to three week delivery. Larry shop manager set my install appointment 8:00am 5/3/2017 12:30pm I pulled out of shop bay. Have only test towed trailer about 50 miles, on I--385 tows and handles much better. I went from 21 year old 4,000 lb. axles to new 5,000 lb. upgrade. The two shop guys that did the work did excellent job. They do trailer repairs of all types. They are local to Greenville SC and myself. They did a first class job and at a fair price and saved me some money. I'm a happy camper. Update June 19, 2019 Well it's been two years since had this work done. 12 NW states and 8 northern states and Canada 18,000 miles and no problems. New suspension, wheels & tires really improved the towing experience. Thank you Long Trailer.
First visit was awesome. Wish we had never come back. Quoted one price but when we came to pick up our truck, he raised his price. Would not let us see if it was done right until we paid him. Once we saw our truck we realized that he had put on the wrong hitch. Another week goes by and we called to see if it's ready. He stated that he finished it days ago. We asked why he didn't bother to call and he said he was too busy to call me. The light bar is not in the correct place that I asked him to put it. He charged me another $60. If you still want to go there, you can't say you weren't warned. Crook, crook, crook. Just my humble opinion.

I found this company for my tandem boat trailer.
I have tires wearing prematurely with cupping and uneven wear.
They mostly work on big truck trailers but they were more than happy to take a look.
I was very impressed with the initail conversations.
I will repost with more information after the work is done and after the results show.
