Absolutely horrible. The original call was made at 2:30 pm and stated they would arrive in 90 minutes. Estimated time of arrival was documented at 4:16pm. No one showed. Tried to call the company and they would either hang up or keep you on hold. Was never able to get in touch with anyone. At 6 pm still have not shown up. I went through a roadside service and it was almost impossible for them to reach AutoWorks. AutoWorks kept increasing their time by 33 minutes or longer. AutoWorks is a sorry company. They are not prompt and don’t communicate.
Awful, just awful. Cancelled on me at the last second while I had already been waiting for 2 hours. What a joke of a company and they really need to improve customer service and elementary communication skills. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Dispatcher is horrible. I initiated a tow through my fleet services at 8:56. Autoworks accepted the dispatch and called me at 10:38 and I was told it would be a hour. I called them back at 12:12 and was told the driver is dropping off a vehicle and would be on their way. At 2:29 I got a text from the driver saying he will be there in 5 minutes. I literally had to wait for this tow company for 4 hours for them to arrive because the dispatcher is inept at her job. She also tried to lie and tell me she informed my fleet services that it would be 2 1/2 hours which was also a hour and a half off when they originally dispatched the tow around 10:30. However there were zero notes on fleet services about this and she also told me it would be a hour at 10:38. I only needed my vehicle to be towed 3.4 miles away and it took over 4 hours. Thank God I wasn't on the side of the road waiting with a heat index of 95 that day. Will definitely request anyone else next time I need a tow.
Assigned to my keys locked in my car through progressive. I was called and told the driver was doing a tire change in liberty and would head to me ( I’m in Simpsonville). ETA was 45-1hr, I waited past the time and when checking the tracker it said the driver was arriving soon. After waiting longer still no one came I called the company. I was basically told whoever called me must of told me the wrong info that the guy was leaving liberty and driving to WATERLOO which is passing me basically. No one else was available, I was given the advice to maybe try to find a friend to help me get my 5 kids to school …….. LOL as if I hadn’t thought of that already
Christian just came out through AAA. The office called to let me know when he'd arrive; Christian gave me a heads up call and text. He was so kind and quickly put my spare on for me. I highly recommend their service!
Fabulous service! My car would not start, and the dealer told me to have it towed to them because it didn’t appear to be a battery problem. Billy showed up in a tow truck and very quickly discovered that it was indeed a battery problem. He set up an appointment for Autoworks to return and install a new battery. Trey replaced the battery, and I never had to leave the house, all at a cost that was only slightly more than the cost of the battery itself. Billy and Trey, thank you for your skill, workmanship, kindness and desire to take care of my problem effectively. I heartily recommend Autoworks of Greenville!
Dispatcher stated that I would have to pay for addition tow miles not covered by AAA claim that the shop is 4 miles from my house when Google maps and waze shows 2.5 miles. Covered up to 3 miles. Don't show up when intended either. Dispatcher claims it comes out of her pay check which isn't my problem. She refused to verify the distance and refused to accept me sending a screen shot. Very rude, very combative, not worth the head ache. She kept claiming its not my problem.
Dispatcher lied to me. Told me I tow driver was on way. I had to wait an additional 45 minutes after waiting 3 hours and 45 minutes. Was not sympathetic to my being scared broken down on I 26 at night by myself.
What a kind and professional man John is! Had an issue on the side of the interstate and he got to us so quickly and solved the problem in the most efficient way! Highly recommend!
John was excellent! My car broke down literally in the middle of nowhere, and somehow he got there quickly to help me! He was so professional and very kind because I had panicked about being stranded with no help. I will never forget him coming to save me and I am very grateful to him! What a very fine person and what a great job he did!
To anyone reading this I strongly recommend DO NOT give this place your business.I just needed an alternator replaced.But when I got back home I went to check the oil and the dipstick is broke off so now I can't check the oil level, so I called to let them know thinking they would tell me to bring it back in but got nothing but attitude and denial of them doing anything wrong and they had the nerve to say they could quote me on getting it fixed.something they messed up.And on top of all that they tried to tell my wife when she picked the car up about all this other work that needed to be done which I know for a fact is not true.Bad customer service,liars and they break your stuff.NEGATIVE 5 STARS
John picked up my car and was very professional. There were issues caused by the AAA service request that I submitted which were totally out of his control, and he worked with his dispatcher to ensure my tow request was handled. He couldn’t have been any nicer or more understanding.
