Me and my husband are seniors both at this time disabled because I have both knees needing replaced and can barely walk my husband has RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS also needs a hip replacement and is bed ridden I talked with the owner of this company because our car was towed and I explained that we were in a fire in this complex displacing 23 families

Roper mountain woods apartments are just making it as hard as they can on us because I reported them about the mold and leaking pipes which aren't fixed yet
This “Towing” company is a scam! If you’re in Jamestown give state troopers a call when they come out. They illegally tow cars. I never got my sticker but taxes are paid & they stuck the “legal notice” sticker on my car window! Bc they don’t have the ability to run your tag, they don’t know if the tag is good or not! I went to the office. I’ve heard other neighbors have had issues also! If they come out & your information is correct, DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOU CAR, call the state patrol out! Make sure you have your receipt! State troopers can prove it’s not expired! Which would make that an illegal tow! Also they lie about what time they give you the notice, my camera got them coming around @ 8am & they put 7am on the fake “legal action” stickers that they get off Amazon with NONE OF THEIR COMPANY INFO!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Do not trust them! New managers are in on it also in Jamestown pointe apartments. Know your rights don’t get scammed. Also they didn’t come back in 24-hrs like the noticed said & I believe it’s because we went down to the office raising hell!

These guys were awesome! They were able to get my car out of a parking garage with little clearance for their truck. No one one else was able to help me. They also arrived timely. I appreciate you both for getting me out of a tight spot!
So they came out and told my car to the shop to try to get it fixed. I knew people who weren't there and he was doing this out of a favor. He told me what was wrong with my car. He said that it was a timing issue and that since it was an inference motor that there was going to be some you know motor replacements like heads gaskets well he told me it's going to take 3,800 for him to do. I told him that was too much you know just bringing my car back two weeks past. Still no car. I told him that I didn't have a title so he was led to believe that I didn't have a title. But truth is I paid the taxes. I just haven't tied a transfer the title into my name. I have the paperwork to do that so the title is now on my name. I call him back and say hey. I need my car a week goes by a box me so I get my mother to message him. Hey we need our car well the weekend comes up he's done. Had my car for 3 weeks now I message him. Hey I need my car and I walk outside Sunday morning and I see my car which means he probably dropped it off Sunday morning or Saturday night after inspecting my vehicle I noticed that these thieves stole my starter. They stole my brand new battery I put in my car. They stole my oil filter that was unopened in a box. They stole the starter off my car. They stole the Cadillac converter off my car and they dropped my car off at my apartment complex and tried to blame the apartment complex for doing it. But like the police said there was no debris underneath my car. So these these basically strip my car so I wouldn't trust these people. I'm definitely going to sue these people. I have a lawyers looking into it right now. I've already filed a police report. The worst thing about this whole situation is they still haven't returned my key. They dropped my car off with no key. Now only I can't drive my car or you know sell it because they took the Cadillac converter off my car. So I hope these people get jail time The cop says this business is definitely looking at theft charges because what they did was against the law

JR Towing was very courteous and professional. We live in Spartanburg and was were out at a function in Greenville. When we came out, we discovered the tire was flat. After calling numerous towing services to get a towing service that could put air in a tire, I lucked upon JR Towing.He was the only one, of all the calls, to provide this service. He got there super fast, after being concerned about our safety because the area was not well lit. He pumped up our tire and we were on our way home in less than 15 min, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone.
AAA sent JR Towing out to assist with my damaged tire. Tom Allen helped us and he was amazingly kind and efficient. He changed the tire and even offered safety tips. His positive attitude made a bad day a lot better. So very thankful. Definitely recommend. Ask for Tom Allen .
The worst experience ever. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Car was towed because the City of Mauldin don't like the patrons of a bar I was visiting. That's whole story in its self.....but after the car was removed of course I was looking for the place that it was dropped off at. The car had been gone for 15 minutes and I see the car on the back of a truck going up and down the road....why? Then when I'm able to get a ride, I was able to catch up with the driver who just sped off when I tried to get their attention. The driver was speeding 80 mph down Laurens rd. to get away from me. No brake lights with the car swaying all over the road. All I wanted to know was how to get the car back. Then when I'm able to reach the towel truck yard. Another driver told me that I can't be there because its private property. I told him I was trying to get my car, he said I can't have it. Would not explain the steps or anything. So the police was called and he said they would not do anything. He was very nasty, rude and would not help me at all. It was like they loved the fact I was having a terrible experience. Called the business office and was hung up on. It ended up costing $425 to release the car 2 days later on Monday morning. I'm convinced that if I were White it would have been a totally different experience.
Worst experience with a company I've ever had. When they first showed up, they told me that they couldn't tow my car with the type of truck they had and made me wait for a flat bed tow truck. After waiting an hour for the flat bed, the driver told me that he wouldn't except my AAA card because my plates were expired. I told him that AAA never cared before, so why would it matter now? He responded with a BS reason saying his boss would find out. I then asked him how much he would charge, and he said $65 with $4 for each mile. I agreed to the price only for him to tell me he couldn't load my car because the other driver had the car jack. So then we had to wait another 2-3 hours for the other guy to come back with a jack. After jacking up the car the driver told me that the cost will be $98. Considering that the place I was towing it to was only 2 miles away, I asked him why the price was $26 above cost. He told me that he was charging me for 7 miles instead of 2 miles because his outdated GPS calculated the drive to be 7 miles. After hearing this, I told him to just put my car back down because I wasn't paying. Absolutely horrible service, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I called Honda roadside assistance for a flat tire. They sent out a junior towing. When the guy arrived he told me that I could drive my car with a nail in it to get it changed. Why would I drive my car with a nail in the tire to get stuck on the side of the road ? He then proceeds to change the tire and then asked for my drivers license and my membership card to verify my identity. I lost my drivers license the previous night and my membership card was not needed because I AM A HONDA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE MEMBER NOT AAA. He then tries to grab my keys out of my hand to get my mileage which was already provided as well. I showed him my miles and he stood over me even after I told him the mileage several times. He insisted on me showing my DL even though I offered a piece of mail with my address and name. I proceeded to go back in my house and he sat outside for another 15 minutes until I called Honda back and asked them to tell him to leave. He treated me like this because I’m a black woman living in a established neighborhood with a brand new vehicle. He was incredibly rude from the time we spoke on the phone till he left. It is despicable to have that type of person working for your business. I hope no one else of color is treated this way by one of your employees.
*As a post my review ON EVERY website I can find , I see more bad reviews that describe people of color being treated unprofessionally, it’s safe to say you have RACIST EMPLOYEES! Spend your money elsewhere folks !*
AAA premium member. 4 wks ago JR towing flat bedded my car safely home and they did it in record time. 15 minutes. The service was fast and professional. TYVM for getting me out of a not so nice neighborhood and quickly.

Updated: My second time using them I was not happy. A different driver showed up, he took others calls while towing ours, and a 10 minute tow took a couple hrs for our vehicle to show up. What's worse, the driver was a thief. He stole a pair of red Nike basketball shoes from the car. Yeah, not happy about the second service call or that driver. -5 stars for that service call
After calling AAA on a Monday morning for a flat tire, JR Towing showed up to put my spare tire on. Little did I know the tech damaged my car by shredding the tire bolt and I would be paying an additional $150 out of pocket that was done at the expense of using JR Towing. I found out by taking my car immediately to North Hills Automotive (who I have been using for 10 years in Greenville) and they said whoever touched my car last, shredded the bolt and I would need a new one. I tried to call Wayne at JR Towing to resolve the issue and have him reimburse me directly. For 5 days he avoided my calls, denied his tech shredded the bolt, and was completely out of line. I asked him to call North Hills to get their statement. He would call them after business hours to avoid talking to them and said "they put him on hold." All completely untrue, as every time you call them someone always answers the phone. As a lot of these reviews state, this place is a TOTAL SCAM and filled with people that will damage your car and you will never receive reimbursement. For the sake of you, your family, and friends, please share with them never to call JR Towing or Wayne. I have had the worst experience of my life over the past 10 days and I would never wish this situation on anyone. It is a shame that businesses can get away with direct damage and negligence to someone's personal property and Wayne is the true definition of having perfected that.
Called AAA, they contacted JR, called twice to make sure we coordinated ETA. Very helpful and professional. Got car going without having to tow and incur mechanic bill. Gave me some helpful hints. Really seemed to enjoy what he was doing. Awesome service!!!
When I called AAA - they sent this company for my roadside assistance call. Matthew the person that came was very courteous and arrived right on time. Before he arrived they called and let me know his ETA. Matthew provided excellent service - he knew quickly how to get my car started with a trick. He also gave me some advice on what to do when it happened again. Later in the week - I got a call from the office asking how my service call went and if I was 100% satisfied.
I have used J R services more than 10 times. I have referred 8-10 people as well. Each and every single time have been great. I have a few cars that I do not trust other towing services with due to ride height and paint. These guys always take the best of care with my car to make sure nothing is damaged. I couldn't be happier with the response. Will be using again this year.
Had a flat tire in uptown Greenville last night. Called AAA and within a very few minutes JR Towing called me and said he would be there in 15 minutes. He came on time and fixed my tire. Did the best job of everyone I have used in the past. I recommend them highly.
