Through hard work and great service, he was able to build and grow the business into one of the largest companies in the Lowcountry. My name is Jimmy Conroy, I am now the President of the company. Husband and kids got into golf cart accident. The police called college park towing. When I arrived I told him we didn’t need a tow and that I would have a friend drive the cart home. Our home is less than a mile from their location. The driver told me I would owe a call fee. They charged me $260 just to show up! I didn’t even call them, they didn’t even tow anything, and I was told I had to pay $260 or else they would take my golf. Complete rip off. Definitely don’t recommend
Worst experience ever driver was very disrespectful smelled horrible damage my vehicle. I will never use them ever again. The amount of trouble I went through was unbelievable. Worst company I’ve ever seen in my life. Definitely will never use again and will never tell anyone abut them.
My son and I broke down with the rental car we were using to attend the LSU/ Clemson football game this past weekend. Jim came to the rescue in plenty of time to tow us back to the airport to pick up another rental. He gave us both a ride in his tow truck which made the experience even more memorable!

Whoever they have answering the phone is rude and very unprofessional! I do not recommend. I called to ask if the tow truck was on the way and he yelled it’s coming and hung up on me! However, the driver was sweet as can be and did exactly as instructed.
July 4th Needed a tow ASAP. Called two other towing companies who prided themselves on being quick to get to you. But one told me it would be 3 hours. The other said it would have to be first thing in the morning. I called Jim's and they told me they'd be there in 30 minutes. Actually showed up in 10 minutes. Pleasantly surprised Very reasonable rates. The driver, Austin, was very friendly and professional. Good conversation for the ride home. Give that man a raise!! Highly recommend Jim's if you want fast, friendly, professional service at a reasonable price.
I've used Jim's towing for years. They are my first call anytime I need a tow truck! Jimmy and his crew always respond quickly and get the job done professionally with great rates and without fail. John moved my old F250 with a broken suspension and did not complain even though I know it was a pain in the butt to get it on his truck. He actually said there are only solutions. Jim's towing are the best ones to call when you need a tow.
We were "customers" of Jims towing by default. My wife was rear ended in an accident and the police department reached out to Jims to have her car towed afterwards. When we went to get her belongings out the staff at Jims welcomed us, helped us, they were friendly and showed compation to us for the incident. Angel shared that our insurance had contacted them and was working with them. Throughout us being there they were truly friendly. Thank you for your help during a stressful situation.
After waiting an hour on another company who said they’d be there in 15, I reached out to Jim’s. While they were more expensive, they were very quick to get to us, which made it worth it standing in the cold covered in truck fluids . Joe and the driver were very pleasant to work with! Had damage to my care from a ball joint failure on driver side. The tow tuck driver was friendly efficient, and very careful helpful getting the vehicle unloaded with the left wheel essentially missing.
My bike died while I was out running, my wife got in touch with Jim's. All I can say is Awesome people, awesome work. Funny part I was cold, pissed, they helped change that, they got my ride back, back into the garage safe, sound. Thank you.
This is the worst service and business that we ever experience. One minute they tell us that the car is still there once we have the vehicle picked up but yet they around and had the car towed it somewhere else. Folks I advise you not to do service with them ever again.
Worse towing place ever. The police towed it here and it was$285 the next day we got the money but was a little short so we had to call family members to try to help we Finley got the money but when we got back they said they towed it to another place uhh so wrong
Summerville police had my car towed there after I had an accident, my FOB was lost before the body shop could tow it out. 470$ and they can't help. What a mess there and what lousy service
My X5 BMW was stuck in park and needed a driver that had skates to pull it up on the Flatbed instead of just dragging it on there. Called every company you can think of and got hooked up with Jims Towing. Ian the driver that came out was absolutely amazing. He really knows his stuff and did exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend Jim's towing!!
Honestly, will not be using this place ever again, they towed my car from an insurance claim to a repair shop and left the keys in their office, now i have a car all the way in west ashely and the keys are still at their office, and they have no intention of taking the keys to the repair shop because they forgot them in the office. Im now in a rush to find out how to get those keys to the repair shop within the hour.
This review would require some background info. I assisted a family member to clean out her vehicle after an accident. It was a challenge navigating to get to the office to speak with someone. There are lots of debris on the side. The ground was muddy from the rain with rocks. It was unsafe walking around without guidance. The staff was able to confirm the vehicle was on the property yet did not know where the vehicle was located. The cars were close together, and we struggled to clean out the vehicle. It took more time to find a safe way to talk to and from the vehicle.
Our company vehicle for Totality Solutions broke down on the shoulder of 26. We called Jim's and received stellar customer service and instant response time, even when all other local towing companies were on a 3+ hour wait! The rep who towed our car was friendly, helpful, and towed the vehicle as soon as we called. Extremely affordable too- a better price than we would have received with anyone else.
Needed a tow the other night after my spindle had broken. I called Jim's and they were very polite and the price they offered for the tow couldn't be beat. The wait was a little long but what tow isn't. Will be calling again to get my vehicle towed to a shop.
This towing service is A1 in my book. I called them and they came to us within 20 minutes. The guy was very informative and professional. I called another towing service and was told it would be an hour and a half before someone could come locally. Spoke to a friend while waiting and he told me about this company, and was he right. They are quick, polite and very professional. Even though the destination was a few blocks away, it was all worth it. Great customer service will always keep customers and this company will always have customers. You will not be disappointed. Please call them and see for yourself. #1 in my book
I was trying to slowly pass over a pothole on this terrible small back road behind Health First in Summerville.. and boom, got stuck into one. My whole front tire including the car frame got stuck. I was in shock, so I just googled a towing company and I have seen the awesome reviews so I called Jims towing, so glad I did. The lady on the phone was super nice and the gentlemen that got my car out, was super nice.
Never thought this pot hole would damage my car and leave me stranded.

They were wonderful to deal with from the beginning to the end. I had called around to other places but Sharon ( hope I got her name correct) was so kind. They even charged me less than the initial quote. They drove a 3 hour trip so they are one company that tows out of town. We had a older motorhome and Jim was very professional and gentle on the old rig. It was in a difficult spot to get out and he did great. Thank you all so much again. I highly recommend this company.
They hauled and stored my brother's Harley after his accident. The staff was very warm and polite. They didn't just view Dave's bike as a piece of metal but recognized it as a beloved machine and showed great respect for it and toward his family during the whole process. I will always be thankful for the kindness and sympathy we were shown when my elderly mother came onto the lot with me. They brought her into the office and offered her a chair and a drink. Those small details in service made a difference during a very difficult time for us all.
The service and people are great! I locked my keys in a rental that I had and I needed to be somewhere important and was going to be late. I explained that to the guy that I spoke with on the phone. He came within five minutes and immediately started working to get my keys out right when he arrived. He got my keys out and said I know you have to go rush so come by when you are done. That really showed me that he actually listened to me and not only that he cared! He was great!!! Any time I need a tow or need to get my keys out I’m calling them and referring them every time.
Dispatch didn't get the correct location for the driver, so a 20 min wait turned into an hour in the cold. Still charged full price. The only thing good about them is that the driver was nice and had heat in the truck (that's why there's an extra star for the rating). Prob won't ever use again unless it's a major emergency and they can get there faster than others.
After using them 4 times with great results I figured I would post a review. They have always been quick to respond and with my Porsche that is low have been excellent not to scrape anything while placing on the flat bed.
