I was in a car accident the other day and Freedom auto sales towed my car from the accident I went up there the next morning to retrieve some things from my car Mr JR went above and beyond to help me just say you don’t find many people business owners with the compassion and empathy that he showed me yesterday. I love Freedom auto sales. JR is the best and all the friendly staff who took their time with me and my time Of need
This tow company freedom auto repoed a truck in my neighborhood. However, before repoing said truck they moved another truck out of the driveway and left it in the middle of a public Rd with no intentions of putting it back. I called Spartanburg county and they came out and figured this out. They called freedom auto and made them come back to retrieve the truck. Instant karma bc the chain broke on the flatbed as he was lifting up the truck. It also took him forever before the chain even broke. So they had to call the same truck that left the truck in the middle of the Rd to tow it back to the owners driveway. This took well over 2 hrs. I wouldn't recommend this company if it was free. You don't just leave a vehicle in the middle of the Rd especially one you shouldn't have even been touching. Highly unethical, unsafe, etc!
This is not the place to go to don’t care how bad you need a car customer service terrible. They break things on your car when they suppose to fix it. The prices is not worth the car and payments because you will have to put more into the car plus payments. They one thing wrong with your car and have you pay for it to be fix and then get the car and it still break down on you. Because it’s something else so that’s more money. Not the place to go not even for a starter car please don’t waste your money.
One of their drivers pulled out in front of me when it was raining so hard you could barely see him! My 3-month-old baby is in the car with me and I had to slam on the brakes. He had a blue pickup truck that was balancing on three, hanging off the back. I wouldn't trust this place with my pet rock.
Just a warning for your tow drivers. You tow in a certain apartment; just know the last tow company stopped for a reason. FOAFO this your only warning.
These dudes weak . They just want to act like they getting money and going hard for it . Running a scheme w Hometowne Suites by Red Roof to tow people who they never told of a " don't back in " rule . They claim its so car fumes won't go into the ac units and I was only told after getting my vehicle back for $ 150 . Trash .
Towed my car and messed my front bumper up and will not take responsibility for what they did. Disregarded my concern and didn’t want to look into it. My bumper was intact before them
Car broke down (transmission issue) in Spartanburg, SC and this company towed me to Atlanta. The driver drove my car on the flat bed with no problems with the steering wheel. We get to Atlanta and fluid is leaking from the driver side of the flat bed. Driver stated he checked under the hood and didn’t see anything leaking. I guess not sir all the liquid is on your flat bed. I went to my mechanic and they said the rack and pinion was punctured on the left side…see photos. Of course when I called the company and informed them of the findings the driver got defensive and aggravated. I just ended the call because it’s my word against his. Don’t use. They’ll cost you extra money.
They towed a wrecked vehicle off I-85 for us a week ago but then lost the License tag from it. Now I'm dealing with more paperwork & expense with the DMV. Wish I had waited for the next wrecker.
Courteous and friendly staff, easy to talk to and get answers that you may have. Also had a serious problem with my alternator and was constantly broke down and talk to J.R. about it and he got me a rebuilt alternator and that made a major difference so I am very thankful for the help and consideration! Might be a tad pricier than I would like it to be but no more than any other places if you are financing it through the company and they will do one thing that I haven't found others to always be willing to do and that is to upgrade you and give you full credit of all of the money that you have paid in! So I would consider that a definite bonus! So yes I would recommend going to see them if you are in need of a vehicle! They are very nice and friendly people, something you will appreciate! Wouldn't cut people off and throw birds in the air with company logo on the truck. Flat out pulled in front if me. If I hadnt had a lane to swerve I would of rear ended the truck. No regard for other vehicles. Don't want people like that towing my stuff at all.
JR is very nice. Good place to go for starter car. Buy here pay here, and they work with you not against you. Even if you hit hard times! Reasonable prices and low down payment and affordable monthly, weekly or biweekly payments.
My friend bought a car here yesterday. I'm going back to get one today. Loved the service and everyone was friendly. Looks kind of dirty but don't judge a book by its cover
I left my car there so Todd, from Clear View Glass, could come get it to replace my glass, was told Jr to leave it. He parked it across the street without putting anything over it to keep it as dry as possible and left my keys in it. This is not a very safe area to be in after dark. Now I have at least 2inches of water in it. I am thankful for what he did for me tho. But damn have some more respect for someone else's vehicle.
