Had a trailer tire showing signs it was abt to blow. Located 5 mins off 95 at the end of a beautiful country road. The kindest gentleman promptly put a fresh tire on the rim and even helped me back the big ol trailer out…ON A SUNDAY! (Places like this are hardly ever open on Sundays) thank you so much!!!!! Couldn’t have had a more perfect experience.
These guys saved my move on a Saturday afternoon at 445. My car tire started after having issues on I95 and I found these guys on very short notice. They replaced my tire and got me on the road within an hour at a very fair price. Some of the nicest people working there too.
Hands down some of the best mechanics in the area! We have been to various shops, and these guys have all of our future mechanical needs for business!!! Great, timely, and professional service. We had our car serviced there and repaired there. Highly recommended to call. They were even able to same day change our driver and passenger side cv axles!!! Keep up the great work guys!!!
This was a more than a 5 star business and the people are highly intelligent and lets you know up front for pricing, any risks before they start and was very accurate on time. My go-to for now on!
They ripped me off on a transmission job.
The transmission they put in started doing the same thing I brought the truck in for originally, and now they say nothing is wrong w/ it.
So they either lied when they said I need a new transmission, or they are lying now.
I believe they don't want to honor the warranty.
JR. isn't there half the time and their mechanic doesn't even speak English.
I will NEVER recommend them or do business w/ them again.
Had suspension problems that I went to get fixed thinking it was one problem but ended being told it was another. They diagnosed the problem and said it was bad tie rods not what I thought it might be. I said ok and got them to replace them with new tie rods. After the new tie rods got replaced I still had major play in my steering wheel so I was under the impression my problem was not fully fixed but they said I just needed an alignment. I went got an alignment from a place I use for 15 +years and they told me that there was also another issue. This was 2-3 weeks ago. Today I go back to JR’s and they try to charge me again to diagnose then the owner tells me all lifted trucks sway then he says it’s not his problem. Immediately I knew I was dealing with a shady business. The customer service the owner has is horrible and if they can charge you again for something they were suppose to get right the first time then I don’t want the service but I still have them a chance to make it right but the owner didn’t like that I knew what I was talking about and was not going for what he was saying. Dont trust this service. The lady in the office and the mechanic are good and wanted to help but their boss is not understanding of the life threatening risk his establishment put me in. I travel a lot and last thing I need is a wheel to fall off. I got a different mechanic who has a legit service and is not going to tell me my truck is suppose to sway.
Like everyone else, we had trouble on i95 late at night. I put the spare on and brought the tire in before posted houra the next day. They plugged my tire, double checked the work and realized the valve had also failed. They did everything you expect and didnt try to upsale me. One of the rare, honest places left.
We broke down on i 95. Jr fixed our car on a Sunday and got us back on the road. He went to the auto parts store and got the parts, fixed the car and towed it back to us. Very professional service and good price. I cannot thank jr enough.
Stopped here thinking we had car issues and the owner took 30 minutes out of his day to help us out and didn’t charge us a thing. Turned out nothing was wrong with it. I’m glad we ended up there.
While traveling home on I95 over the weekend, we had the misfortune of failed front wheel bearings on our truck. Our good fortune was to find JR’s Auto Repair & Salvage off the Santee Exit. JR was able to quickly diagnose the problem. Although he had to travel to another town to secure the parts, he completed the repair and delivered the truck back to us the same day. He provided excellent customer service at a reasonable price for the scope of the work. This was the best repair service experience that we ever had. Carl and Millie Bickling.

These gentlemen saved us on a road trip. We called from the hi go way as our engine light came on and met us to take a look. Diagnosed the problem immediately, salvaged the parts saving us considerable money and got us back on the road. That is top notch in every way.
I was traveling through SC and had sudden car trouble, looked on line found ARs auto were very gracious and helped me immediately. Went down the dirt road:) on the navigation Very happy to recommend them.

Traveling from Georgia to Washington DC for the holidays. Car kept losing power. Googled mechanic near me. Jr's pop up . Gave me directions to a dirt road . Feeling nervous. They were so polite and took me right away and had it fixed and back on the road in about 30 minutes! Wish I lived closer because they would definitely be my regular mechanic. Highly recommend!
Broke down right off of 95… Called these guys at 8 AM on a Saturday morning… The owner picked up the phone and got the information off my car and called me back promptly saying that they would be able to do the work. The owner son, and, their tech met me at the shop, prioritized my car since I was in transit and provided great service… Can’t say enough about these guys will definitely keep their number
our car broke down on the side of the highway. We have three small children and were so worried about not finding any one because it was Labor Day weekend. After calling dozens of people without luck, the nice folks at Jr's auto repair were quick to help. Only took 10 minutes to get to where we were and fixed us up in no time! they were honest, friendly, kind, and empathetic to what we were going through, not to mention very fair price for repairs. 10 out of 10!

Found this shop when I first got my truck and needed an oil change. Since then, I have trusted Nathaniel and his crew to get from transmission repairs, to brakes and alignments. Definitely a professional, great communication, and time efficient.
