Imperial Service moved my car despite clear instructions on which building it should be left at. They attempted to call, but I was unable to answer at that moment. I returned the call and never received a response. The car was left in the wrong location. They said they would correct the mistake, but only moved it to building 1200, even though it was always specified that the car needed to be left at building 700. I recommend others be cautious when using their services, as they appear careless and unwilling to do the job correctly from the beginning

WOW! What a great job against ALL odds. Kenny and Nate were definitely put to the test and passed with flying colors. I live downtown, we needed the vehicle flat bedded, throw in a one way street and a car that was parked to close. Need I say more?! I just worked with Tommy. (Hope I got his name correct but he’s the Big teddy bear, sweetest town man / man, I’ve ever dealt with!) He was amazing from beginning to end. He met me at my job, diagnosed my car and then was kind enough to also help me get to honda and speak with the gentleman here to let them know what my situation was. I’ve never had someone care enough to see me through the entire process. He was thorough and helped me get informed on what to expect and what was going on with my car. I mean 12/10 experience and so nice to talk to and I really think that should be recognized. He just took me from a day of starting off sobbing and stressed to literally turning my entire day around and his kindness will not be forgotten. I’m really thankful for him and y’all are very fortunate to have such a man working for y’all. I never take the time to leave a review but he was so kind, and worth every word.

Courteous, friendly and outstanding customer service. I received a tow to a local repair shop. Tom called me as he entered the parking area. He was already near my vehicle as it was parked close to the entrance. He turned towards my stalled vehicle as I informed him that I was walking across the lot wearing a gold shirt and hat. At that moment he then proceeded towards me to give me a ride instead. An additional courtesy, he drove me back to my residence which was just on the other side of the parking area. Thank you Imperial Towing. You guys are Highly Recommended
Not everything you see on the Internet is true. These folks want you to think I’m lying. You decide what you think:
Day 1 - My truck gets totaled. My insurance company hired Imperal to tow the wrecked truck to a storage lot the insurance company picked. The lot was about a mile away. Imperial did tow the truck…somewhere. After failing to find my vehicle at the storage lot, I called Imperial. They towed the vehicle several extra miles to their own lot instead. I got excuses, I was told they were ‘confused’.
Whoever I got on the phone at Imperial promised to correct their mistake and deliver the vehicle first thing the next day, and call me when it was done.
Day 2 - the vehicle was not delivered, and no one called me. Promise broken.
I called my insurance company. The insurance company said they got a new promise the vehicle will be delivered, by end of day ‘today’. I visited the storage lot again, no delivery was attempted. Promise broken again.
I was getting regular updates from the insurance company about the high storage fees my truck was racking up, and their warnings they might not cover the fees. I was motivated to find out what was going on.
By this time, there were several helpful folks at the storage lot who know my face, and know what vehicle I’m expecting to be dropped there. By this time I know I can’t trust anything Imperial tells me.
I posted a negative review, hoping someone higher up at Imperial might notice and help me. Spoiler alert: they did notice, but it took them a month, and their response wasn’t helpful.
Day 3-4 was the weekend. Insurance promised to cover the fees til Monday. I still got texts and emails from the insurance company saying my vehicle is running up storage fees that they won’t pay for much longer.
Day 5-7 includes a lot of activity but here’s the summary: - The folks at Imperial who kept lying about their intention to deliver the vehicle claim they finally tried over the weekend and were turned away. - You are meant to believe they showed up with a vehicle to the storage lot I’d been harassing every day telling them to expect, and somehow that didn’t work for them, and that the folks at Imperial still didn’t call me back with an update. - After this, Imperial generously ‘agreed’ with the insurance company to store my vehicle themselves another few days until the salvage yard can come to them.
In spite of having my name and phone number and promising to update me, Imperial never called me back.
Day 30 - Someone at Imperial finally noticed my month-old complaint online, and calls me a liar. Again, they had my info, my un-answered messages, and could have talked to me about any of this. They want to argue about it on the Internet. They want you to decide for yourself what you think was going on here.
Tommy and Alvin are the absolute best! These gentlemen are professional as well as knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them over the two other tow companies that I've dealt with. 10 out of 10!
My insurance called this tow company and they came and tried to tow my car from the front as it was stuck in parking brake I consistently asked the driver may he please drop my car out of fear of him putting anymore excessive damage to my car. The guy felt like he knew it all 10 secs later he’s stuck in my septic tank. That’s still not the problem the customer service sucks the guy acted like he did nothing wrong after he broke my septic tank and just left no sorrow or remorse at all. They guy barely wanted to give me his bosses number. Avoid them at all cost!!!!
Our driver showed up within 10 minutes of calling and was extremely professional. He even gave us a ride to our home after hearing that an Uber would’ve been over $60. We couldn’t ask for a better experience in an already bad situation. Top notch customer care.

After having my car quit driving while out of town, I used a 3rd party service to request a long distance tow back to my home, and was paired up with this amazing company. Brian, my driver, and my new friend, arrived on time, in a very very clean and new truck, and was a complete professional from the moment he exited the truck till the moment we arrived at my tow destination. While this wasn't your average across town towing, this did not stop Brian from providing the best service to myself, and I know he extends this to each and every customer he encounters. For those that stay in the greater Columbia, SC area, I would highly recommend this company for any tow service you may need. Professional, friendly, clean, on time, and affordable. DON’T COME HERE!! My car was towed in a guest parking spot that i’ve parked in consistently for 6 months. The towing number outside the location was also not correct! It states on the website that this service is open 24 hours when we had to wait almost 50 minutes on someone to arrive to the location which made me super uncomfortable due to the area and being late at night. Additionally, the man had seemed to have no knowledge of why the towing bill was so excessive for a 3.2 mile tow and could not give me answers to my questions. I hope I never have to run into this company again. An absolutely horrible experience.
I had the unfortunate experience of my car going out on me while on the interstate. After calming down, I made calls attempting to get a tow. BJ answered and was so helpful, he even arrived faster than initially quoted! My car was loaded and secured SO QUICKLY (mind you, it was raining and I had pulled off in mud at a weird angle).
I’m gonna be honest if I could leave a negative review I would. This company was dispatched by my insurance company to pick my car up and take it to a shop before said shop closed for the weekend at 6pm. We were told that the arrival time was around 12:46. 1:30 came around and the car had not been picked up, so I called and they told me I was the next in line to be picked up. Well then before 3 the car had still not been picked up so I called and I was told that he was on his way and he would be there in 20 minutes. Long story short, 5 came around and my car is still sitting in the same place it was this afternoon at 12:46 pm. Avoid this place at all cost.

Hit a pothole near Bowman SC and needed a tow to Columbia for a new tire. Chad was professional and friendly! He knows Columbia and was able to get us to a place to replace the tire so we could get back on the road quickly. Highly recommend using Imperial.
Chad with Imperial Towing was amazing. I was in an accident on the interstate and he came up on it. Came to check on me and make sure i was ok and reassured me while I waited on my husband and the cops to get there. He’s very professional and caring and I would definitely recommend them!
I work at a nite club and when i got off at 5am i was having car problems. I remember getting their number so i tested the waters and called them and they came through. Luckily i didn’t have to use my insurance because their price was reasonable. They definitely will be saved in my phone!! Very professional, on time, and quick!!!
I needed one of my cars towed from Columbia to Charlotte. Selecting Imperial Towing was the best decision I made. The guys were on time and were very professional. As I am a nervous person, I was worried about the loading/unloading of the car, but I was very pleased with the skill and ease of how the driver was able to make this happen. I would definitely use their services again.
