Bad neighbors. They won't let us locals that aren't dealers attend auctions but are happy to speed down our roads to test their vehicles.

Both times I have bought a car from this location the deal has been unwound. First time no reason given and no contact. This time I was told that the vehicle was not even at the auction. Offered to pick up from the sellers yesterday and just received an email that the purchase was unwound. Huge waste of time

I sold a car here, I notified them on more than 4 occasions, even by text messages, that the car I was selling did not have a title. It turns out that the staff who works here says that they understood that I did not have it at the time with me. They never asked me for an explanation and now almost a month later they never informed me that the sale could not be concluded for that reason, which is not their responsibility. I found out about all this when I tried to claim my check from that sale. The car had been sitting there all those days doing nothing in their yard. They also offered me a ticket of $400 via email for the inconvenience caused, and when I asked for it, they informed me that the boss no longer wants it, that everything is missing, so they sell it here. Please avoid all this.

There is to many people at this auction bidding without a bidders badge and having to borrow a badge from another person after the vehicle has been sold they are wasting to much time auction should address this

Very unprofessional. The next time someone decides to come into a PROFESSIONAL establishment such as yours, for information the PROFESSIONAL thing to do is to be respectful regardless of race, gender, or background. Kindness is free. Rudeness can cost you.

My vehicle was towed to Carolina Auto Auction where a key was made to access the vehicle. They stole a lot of our personal items and because they know they will not be liable for theft they don't care and will tell you to contact the lien holder to make a claim. Just a warning to everyone they are thieves and will steal your items. I know that who ever stole our items will reap what they sow however I want everyone to know absolutely nothing will be done, so if it is high ticket items please contact the police to investigate and make a theft claim.

Idk how bad reviews with my name have been put on auction sites. I don’t do social media. I have been going to Carolina Auto Auction for over 20 years. All the people who work there are awesome. Mr Stanley let me use his prize Automobile for my daughters wedding several years ago . David my representative was asking me about this horrible review that someone hacked my name and put on the company website but I definitely did not write this garbage . I definitely like CAA and visit weekly. Hopefully it can be erased. The real Alex Long. BryanEasler Toyota!

I still feel like redemption time frames should be longer or atleast available on weekends but the process to receive the car once you’re their isn’t long at all

Buy the pre inspection because no matter how much you pay or how high the grade you will have to deal with whatever problems you have. I paid $21,500 for a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab 4X4 and graded 4.2 you would think all is good. You only get two days to notify them that includes Saturday and Sunday. I received the truck Friday at 5pm and drove it Saturday for quality assurance. Found transmission slips. Figured calling Sunday would be a waste of time because I'm sure no one is working. I don't even know if they are open those days to make a claim. Well called Monday they said they would call me back after they looked into it. I had to call them Tuesday morning because they didn't call me back. I was told sorry you should have bought the pre inspection we only have a two day period for problems. Also they put a pre sale inspected sticker on the vehicle, for peace of mind. Thats very deceptive. My first-time doing business with them and my last. I'm a dealer looking for an honest place to buy good cars for my customers. If a customer has a problem with a car they buy from us the first week we take care of it. Thats the reputation we want. Carolina Auto Auction is not that place for me.

Brittany was a very nice lady to deal with won't take that away from her, their online policies are a joke though. Upon delivery of the vehicle we purchased on OVE through Manheim there was undisclosed damage that was not on the condition report. Was told we were past the 10 day window and they don't follow the manheim OVE policy for arbitration which is a longer period of time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this auction as they can hide damage then its on you. Wont buy anything else here from now on nor should anyone else who values a car being represented accurately.

When I purchased my vehicle on 2/25/2020, I noticed that the oil was leaking after purchasing the vehicle. I spoke with the dealership I bought it from who offered to take it to Carolina Auto Auction (where they purchased it from) to have the repairs done. Carolina Auto Auction had my car for 3 weeks doing these repairs that should have only taken 3 days at the most. The actual labor charge was only 18.4 hours. The same day I got my vehicle back, the check engine light came on for another problem and the oil was still leaking but now more than it was before. I contacted the dealership who said they would call Carolina Auto Auction for me to see what happened with the repairs. I was told to bring the car back to Carolina Auto Auction so they could look at the car. Upon inspection of the car, Carolina Auto Auction told me that now the rear main seal was leaking and quoted me another $500 to fix that problem. Not fully trusting what they said, I took my car back to a Jeep dealership who said that it looked like the oil pan gasket was still leaking and was never repaired. Again, I took my car up to Carolina Auto Auction who had the car for 2 hours while I waited and then said that there was no oil leak. My driveway would prove otherwise. I then took my car to another mechanic to also said that it was not the rear main seal leaking, that it was definitely the oil pan leaking and that it looked as if it had not been repaired. I contacted the dealership and explained that the repairs we paid for at Carolina Auto Auction had in fact not been completed. I have not heard back from Carolina Auction since.

This Auction used to have the best customer service in the industry but not any more. I purchased a few vehicles and they claim they mailed the title over regular mail, we never recieved the titles we called asking for help to solve this problem. First thing is that they are charging me for the duplicates and we have been waiting over 2 months for a duplicate title. I have to call on a weekly based and speak to PAM and the other young lady I believe Sidney is her name and they handle this like is not their problem and no sense of urgency at all then they tell me they will call back and that never happens I need to call over and over. I hate leaving a bad review on any business but after 2 month of waiting and dealing with this nonsense I have to. Over 2 month for a duplicate title.

I will never do business with this company again, rude staff, and a just don't care atittud from them. Wow, I was hung up on three times and was insulted by a staff member by the name of Lisa from their HR department. I recommend staying away from there. Shady people means shady products and service

Worst Auction in the United States. We have been in business for over 38 years. The original Owner was one of the First customers at Carolina. They have the worst arbitration and mechanics by far. Everyone it's not who you are but we hope you know. They won't arbitrate anything sold to you by one of their big franchise dealers. I've been told s bad battery causes numerous check engine lights. On an 07Bmw 328. That leaking Valve cover gaskets cause engine lights on a 2011 Chevy Cruise. If you floorplan cars your screwed.

One of the worst auctions we have been to! We went and bought 5 cars on our first trip. On our way home with 3 of them the auction called and said they would not be able to obtain a title for one! The representative of the auction assured us that we would get reimbursed for the transportation cost both ways! Assuming that we would be returned the money I sent the vehicle back on the truck when it showed up with the other 2 we had purchased. Here we are over 8 months later we have still not seen a penny of it. Even after several conversations with people in the transportation department, office manager, and the general manager of the auction. The GM keeps shoving the call on the office manager! I will never return to this auction again!
