My dad went here for a starting issue with his truck. After they checked it he was told it was NOT the battery but the starter, and they proceeded to quote him $300 for one. Since he thought that was high he ordered the one for $56, but also took the truck somewhere else. It WAS the battery all along. Don’t waste your time or money here.

I held off for a while. After reading others reviews on the assistant manager i think i should add this. I have a commercial account with orileys and travel all over sc doing mobile auto/marine business. (12/17/25)Yesterday i was told the part i needed was not in stock amd would have to be ordered. I arrived 2 hrs after said delivery time. To be told it wasnt ordered and they already had it in stock. I got the part (didnt look at it i know on me)and went home. Removed the old part the following day. Inspected the old vs new and totally different. Didnt even install it. Went back the following day and had the worst interaction I have had with the assistant manager on duty (today's date 12/18/25). He acted put off that they had ordered the wrong part. I supplied the correct part number i needed and his demeanor was horrible. Tells me before he even looked at the part he couldnt exchange it bc its been installed. Acted pissed he had to walk 10 ft and grab a part. I provided my account number to make his job easier and the correct part number. This isnt the first bad interaction i have had with him in the past few months .I do $3,000-10,000 in parts a month. I will not be returning with my business until things change.

Best O'Reilly's around. Everyone is very helpful. 06/21/25: Review update. I did an online order for a part. Ended up not needing it, and I tried to return it. They accused me of trying to return a used part! This is the only O'Reilly's that I've gone to, with the exception of this part. I don't appreciate having my integrity questioned. I'll be driving out of my way to pick up parts from any store other than O'Reilly's now.

I pulled into O’reilly auto parts in Honea Path at 7:20 am after working 3rd shift as a nurse. I had one of my coworkers jump me off and follow me all the way from Greenwood to Honea Path to ensure I made it safely. Upon the store opening around 7:40, I walked in to ask the employee who was fixated on his clipboard if I could get some assistance with a car battery. Never looking up from his clipboard he proceeded to ask me what type of make, model, and engine I had. I told him, he then said “that doesn’t tell me anything.” I then asked him if he could come out and take a look at my vehicle. He said “I can’t leave the store“. Mind you, my car was parked curbside at 7:40 in the morning in rural Honea Path, South Carolina. Not another car in the parking lot. He could have seemed less interested or concerned about attempting to help me. I left the store upset and disappointed. Went home to sleep until my next 3rd shift the following night. Later that day, my clinically ill father came and jumped me off so I could go back to Oreilly for a second attempt at getting my battery. The employee Mike that helped me with my battery had me in and out within 10-15 minutes and was very courteous and helpful. The same employee (who was still looking at his clipboard at 7:40 am) was still looking at his clipboard at 4:30 pm. I learned that he was the store manager, Jaden. My point is that I could have had this problem handled at 7:30 in the morning. The store manager Jaden does not seem to set a good example for his employees or even care about providing good customer service. Mike, however, exemplifies great customer service and I was very appreciative of Mike.

I've seen mixed reviews on this orileys but this morning my encounter was awesome. The customer service guy there was super knowledgeable and had all the information I needed in the matter of moments.

This is hands down the worst Oriellys I’ve stepped foot in. They have ZERO customer service standards. The store manager how he still has a job is mind blowing to me store is always a wreck. I’ll just continue my business with Autozone going forward

When the new manager came he was straight up a jerk, rude and many more words to describe. I am not a fan of him. But today the manger was not rude at all, but again was not social or thanking for the business that comes in to his store. Overall he is getting better from the first time I meet the guy.

The attitude of the assistant manager is terrible. It seems like it's a bother for him to help anyone. The other employees are very helpful. Need to give management an attitude adjustment.

Can never get anyone on the phone, and when you do they have attitudes like they don’t wanna help you. Definitely will be going to another parts store!!!

They don't answer the phone. Know someone who went in the store and had someone to call at the same time and no they did not answer the phone. Says they close and 9pm on Saturday, someone went there at 7:54pm on Saturday 10-21-23 and the door was locked, they knocked on the door and no one came. Not a good way to run a business.

Man just answer the darn phone every time i call no one answered even decided to drive up to the store from ware shoals parked in front of the store window seen 3 people behind the counter and only i customer inside called the store while in front of the store and still no one picked up the phone so i took my business to advance Auto in Belton.

Friendly and helpful... they own up to their mistakes and make up for it as well but normally don't make mistakes i go here a lot n only had mix up one time.... store is clean and welcoming

I will say, that the parts were efficient and are good quality that from the Honea Path, SC. The only problem is getting someone to answer the phone.

Good staff but inexperienced. Awful management. Manager should not leave inexperienced employees to fend for themselves. Very disappointed. Used to buy all my parts there. Think I will go elsewhere from now on.

Sunday evening is probably not the best time to shop at this location both of the Associates didn't have a clue and helping the other customers waited in line for a good little bit but finally got checked out next time it will be earlier in the day and probably not on Sunday

Pretty easy to in and out. But don't expect them to know everything about every vehicle. The are nice in there, can't complain to much. The bid dude is chill.

Very nice guys who help you out..so glad that theres new employees compared to a couple of years ago....today I had to check on my antifreeze n oil. Justin. Even helped me above and beyond by adding the oil into my Honda crv and showed me the antifreeze was full. Etc. Very helpful and very well mannered about helping the customers. Friendly service and fast. Thank you guys. And. Justin is real nice and I'm saying thank you so much because I have a small trip tomorrow n. Now I. Feel safe. :.bc. Justin went outside and looked at my engine and the fluids...extremely helpful to a woman when I have only had the Honda for a few months and not used to the car yet. ?♀️? ?♀️..plus it was rainy and cold. ☔? ?.now..that's. Small town auto parts store and only one around. Prices are high. Purchased a battery for a Side by Side and paid about $40 more dollars just to keep from driving 45 minutes to get one. Sad that they know this and take advantage of it.

I've always liked going in the store to get what I need for my car... Or our dads car. Etc. my last visit which was about 2 months ago I asked one of the employees could he come out to the car and check to see if I was having a problem with a fuse because I had just bought my car.. and I could not charge my phone inside of the car and was willing to purchase whatever was necessary ... Anyway usually the staff would help a lady and he absolutely shook his head back and forth no! So I left! I thought their job was to use the diagnostic tester like they used to and to help the customer because it is on the window what all they're supposed to do... Other than that one time I've always been happy going here but I thought it was rude

I got online, input my customers year, make, and model in the vehicle option. Searched for rear wheel studs and lug nuts. Wrote down the part #'s listed and called to verify the items were in stock. I then drove to pick the items up, return home, and found they were the wrong parts (not the stores fault because I asked them for specific part #'s listed online). When I returned again to get the correct parts they had half of what I needed and could order the rest. After informing them that I would be in another town the next morning, the gladly contacted the closest store to my destination and got them to have the parts ready for me to pick up the next morning. Great customer service!
